Great coffee from the petrol station across the road as were the takeaways we had from them. Lovely young couple in the room next door was nice just to sit outside and chat. Was surprised at how quiet it was. Taps in the shower didn't have arrows, was a bit tricky to get the right temp, was plenty hot enough.

Monica (8/5): See above - It was well situated for our purposes. It was good to have a freezer as part of the refrigerator. Microwave was a plus. Bed was comfortable. Ceiling fan was very welcome. Perhaps a toaster, and some extra basic crockery could be added to the kitchen supplies. We realise that there is a risk that some items are stolen. Perhaps we should have asked the management if they could loan us these items?

Eleanor (5/5): Convenient - Everything was great - clean sheets, comfortable bed, easy check in for us even though we were after hours. One issue which affected the stay. The bathroom was crawling with bugs, I can hack a few but this was far too much. the room had bug spray however it was not a place I would have showered due to the amount of bugs in the bathroom - the rest of the room was lovely. Just must be an issue with the bathroom specifically. Something better done about the large amount of bugs in the bathroom. Everything else was a good standard. Easy check in etc, clean linen.
Vanessa (4/5): Cute vintage motel.. but disappointing. - It's a cheap, vintage motel. Plenty of hot water in the shower (if no extractor fan and the window is way too high to be able to open). The bed was comfortable if on the softer side and aging (you could feel the divets). Cold air conditioning. There's almost no mobile reception in Glossop but they do have wifi... The password is hard to find because it's on a little sticker on the shelf, but the lady at reception was very helpful about it. Shady veranda/parking. The room is small but they've made good use of the space... And the vintage radio in the old headboard still works. That it appears clean. The reviews say it's clean... and that was one reason I booked. Some things had been missed (like the top of the microwave on a high shelf and the bathroom ceiling) but I've worked as a housekeeper and it's actually really hard not to look in all the places that it's really common for staff to miss. Not really a problem. But I got up during the night to use the bathroom. And there were two small cockroaches. Also not really a problem. But as I was finishing my mug of tea to leave... I saw their PARENTS... And that was disappointing. Also being the beginning of summer it would have been nice to know in advance that the pool was out of action. In addition the external lights don't turn off until around 11pm... And there's high vintage frosted glass windows that don't have curtains. This would be a problem for people trying to sleep prior... My room was bright as day until they went out.

Christine (9/5): Flexible and budget friendly accommodation that we’ll be sure to stay at again if we’re in the area - The owner was friendly and very accommodating to our needs during our stay for the Riverland Basketball Carnival. Arrived on a hot afternoon and was pleased to find our air-con already running, allowing us to relax in comfort after a long drive, before enjoying an evening dip in the on-site pool. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Budget friendly rates, and in a convenient central location.
Helen (8/5): Very good - Very convenient for on the road overnight stay. Value for money as we only needed the basics of a good bed, clean room and functional bathroom. Nearby roadhouse also very convenient for fuel and snacks. Nothing we didn't like.

Kate (9/5): Value for money - The owner/manager of the motel is extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are small but perfect for a quick stay, value for money and extremely clean. Had a family emergency and needed an overnight stay for 2 people, traveled from Victoria and it was easy to find. Would recommend this place for a quick stop over Nothing
Alistair (10/5): Home away from home - Staff are friendly and approachable: they respect your privacy, but are also great to share a meal, a drink and a conversation with. Rooms have a modern TV that is fully compatible with all streaming services, split system air-conditioning and ceiling fan and windows that open. The room is a little bit small, but this would be due to the inclusion of a modern generous sized bed that is very comfortable. The bathroom can get rather steamy after a shower due to lack of an extraction fan, but does have a window. Despite the size, rooms have all the basic necessities including a reasonable sized fridge and a microwave.

Neville (10/5): Great 9 and 1/2 out of 10 - Location, right in the middle of places I wanted to see . staff went out way to make us very welcome and with doubts we stay there again. The only dislike was the hot water system, but in saying that is the own is doing on renovations all time the hot water system is on the agenda.
