• Claire (10/5): It isn’t the Ritz, but was clean, comfortable & fine for my 1 night stay to get an early flight next morning - Easy 10min drive to airport. Receptionist was very friendly & welcoming. Parking was easy. It didn’t worry me but if you can’t do stairs this is not the property for you.

We were impressed with the care taken using plants to green up the taxi waiting area and around the building. We arrived late and felt safe and appreciated the staff giving us instructions on how to access the room. Although there were stairs, the luggage lift meant that we didn’t need to lug our luggage up the stairs. Convenient off street parking. Comfortable beds and clean linen made for a good nights sleep. We loved that the manager took a moment to chat to us on our departure.

Free parking. The stairs were fine because I only had an overnight bag. But if I had a suitcase I would find the stairs difficult to navigate as the luggage lift was out of order

The Traffic Noise !!!!!- I was facing busy Sandgate rd. . The windows are not double glazed for soundproofing . The windows are “double” but this does not block out traffic noise. It sounded like it was raining all night I wore earplugs to block out the noise. For what I paid as single solo occupant the room did not represent value for money. Bedding fine but Bath Towels were old & seen better days Basic room that has been “jazzed - up” to add charm but essentially superficial

Das war für uns perfekt für die letzte Nacht vor dem Abflug nach einer langen Australienreise. Die Tische im Freien sind wegen sehr lautem Straßenverkehr nicht zu benutzen. Im Zimmer ist es jedoch leise wenn Fenster und Türe geschlossen sind.

Breakfast was minimalist in some room that was locked, only accessible with an extra key.Staff was nowhere to be seen, so I cannot comment on that part. Location, although approx. 7 minutes from airport is difficult to get to by taxi. Arriving in the evening can set you back over $120 by cab - in the morning the fare back to the airport was only $9 - how is this even allowed??

Had everything that I required except a toaster. Bed was very comfortable. Sound proofing was excellent given the large volume of traffic on Sandgate Road. Luggage lift was very useful. TV reception was poor. Lots of very narrow steps so not ideal for someone with a bung knee.

We always book a family room (2 adults, 3 kids) which are spacious and comfortable. Great comms and straightforward check in. Located on busy road but rooms well noise insulated. Parking on site. Lots of eateries locally. 10 minute drive to airport. Bathrooms a bit dated but functional
