- 26natr (10/5): Fantastic, highly recommend. - We arrived at 8.20pm & reception was still open. It was hot but when we got to our room they had put the cooling on for us. We had travelled from Canberra for school tennis trials so we appreciated the wonderful service that they provided. The room was big & clean & the bed was so comfortable.
- J3654GHbillt (4/5): Not what I'd call a pleasant experience - The advertising images certainly do not reflect the current state of the premises. Appears to be in the middle of some room renovations however I certainly didn't get one of those, the room (15) had a very strong smell of mould or sewer. The room was tidy & clean but run down. The pool was shut down & in a terrible state of repair, on an extremely hot weekend. The receptionist lady was very pleasant when I booked in on the Friday afternoon. The reason I chose the Parkhaven was the fact it had a restaurant but alas it was also closed for renovations. Certainly is not a "resort" as advertised nor was it worth the money they charge. I've stayed in much better places for that sort of money.

- liamkO1373VQ (2/5): Certainly not a resort! - Very disappointed to say the least! The bed was comfy and the shower had good water pressure but kept on going lukewarm to cold and constantly had to be adjusted, shower bowl filled up fast which you stood in a pool of water and had to quickly end your shower to not have an overflow of water going everywhere, drain on the outside of the shower had bubbles from the soaps etc of the shower drainage. The door handle of the bathroom door was the toilet paper holder. The room had a mouldy sewage smell which was more dominant after the shower was used. The room was very noisy and could hear every cough, fart, shower, toilet flushing and conversations going on in the rooms next door. The balcony rooms are not wheelchair friendly as there were stairs to lug your bags etc up to access your room. The Indian restaurant has beautiful food and reasonably priced. Rooms were of a good size and the free parking was great. This motel is certainly not a resort and the photos of the property are deceiving and not the motel I pre booked and expected.

Hamish was very welcoming on arrival it felt like I talking to an old mate Only down fall. You can not check in early, as they are not onsite until 2 pm.And with 3 very tired children

The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. The lady at reception was very welcoming too. Will definitely stay there again.

- rahulrish1985 (8/5): Parkhaven Nowra: A Comfortable and Convenient Stay - Parkhaven Resort in Nowra is a well-regarded accommodation option, specially for its convenient location within Nowra and friendly service. Check-in and check-out is a breeze. We had occupied the small family room which was big enough for 3 adults and 1 child, spacious and well-maintained, equipped with useful amenities such as a microwave and refrigerator plus toiletries. The configuration for us was 1 Queen, 1 Single and 1 Sofa - comfortable beds and the quiet atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep. Internal common laundry on the ground floor and daily room housekeeping. Plenty of room options to choose from, but book in advance due to its popularity. Car parking is within the premises and is numbered as per your room number so you are guaranteed a parking spot and if you have more than one vehicle then there's plenty of street parking as well. The resort's proximity to Nowra's town center is a significant advantage, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the Shoalhaven River. It also serves as a convenient base for exploring the Kangaroo Valley, Cambewarra Lookout, Fitzroy Falls and broader Shoalhaven region, including Jervis Bay. This was for sure a fuss-free and well-located stay in Nowra for us and is highly recommended. The gentleman at the reception (forgot to ask his name) is super chilled out and always greets with a warm smile and friendly chat. We will definitely visit this place again. :)

And an internal door adjoining another room which was unlocked and had a large piece of foam in the doorway presumably blocking noise and entry from next room. A table was placed in front of it but still felt unsafe. Bathroom sliding door was difficult to open And close as was sliding entry door. Mould in the bathroom. Clean and comfortable beds. Air con was freezing and couldn’t be kept on all night, room got stuffy and hot. A fan would’ve been appreciated. Pool had yellow and black tape across it, obviously not working and drained. Kids disappointed. They recommended Kohli’s Indian restaurant down the road for dinner. Which was the highlight.

What we love about our room: a high ceiling, well-functioning aircon & fridge, clean bathroom and balcony. The property may be a bit old, but no dramas at all. - leenN7719IK (2/5): Disappointing & Uncomfortable Stay - I was given an upstairs room on arrival so I requested for a ground level room due to my bad knees, but I was advised that the rooms were all booked out. Our given room (29) had an aircond unit that only blew out warm outside air during the two hot days that we were there. What’s worse, the swimming pool appeared non functionsl for quite somet months although a sign said something like “maintenance in progress”.. there was a really bad smell of sewerage/garbage all around the property and the carpark had kitchen runoff water running through from the Indian restaurant next door. Our stay was definitely not enjoyable or worth the money.

Great facilities and very comfortable bed and smart TV and got some of the best sleep in my life. Me and my wife will stay here again for sure next time in Nowra. Nice being by a park as well.

The reception were very polite and explained they could not refund as booked online through booking.com. Hopefully a refund is given as had to book another hotel a higher room rate

- 942brenb (8/5): Spotlessly clean family run motel with great Customer service and excellent facilities - We stayed just 1 night, but wish it was longer as our room was of a good size & quality, with very comfortable beds & bedding. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with really great big queen sized bath towels, nice toiletries & a big shower with a decent shower head & water flow, so you can wash your thick long hair with no worries, just enjoy a nice decent shower after a long day driving. A Truly Bliss experience that doesn't happen very often when staying in motels/hotels these days. The location is brilliant too, as it's just a few blocks from Nowra's CBD, so great if you enjoy walking after travelling. Being just 1 block off the highway, it's a very convenient location, yet a quiet residential street, so great for light sleepers like myself. We will happily rebook & stay at Parkhaven when we are next visiting family in the region. 😃

I arrived after a long drive with a hyper kid to find I had booked for the next week, with no fuss they re-booked me for a similar room at no extra charge, in the first week on school holidays no less. They were very kid friendly, the staff were super nice, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed and it is very centrally located!

I have been coming to the Parkhaven for several years and wouldn't choose anywhere else, as the managers are kind and accommodating of my needs. I travelled for 5 hours and arrived after closing, the after hours manager was brilliant to talk to and deal with, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room had everything I needed. Microwave, Wi-fi and easy access to shops and ammenities
