My baby crawled around for maybe half an hour if that and she was covered in dirt. There were dead ants on the floor and behind the fridge and cockroaches in the bathroom

Trail700411 (2/5): Too loud to sleep - I had to leave a couple of hours after checking in because the loud buzzing noise from nearby air con units etc made sleep impossible. I asked for a partial refund twice but didn't even get a response
Cathy (5/5): It was shit - Sleeping on the concrete carpark would have been better. The bed was horrendous. The shower was broken spraying water in all directions. Took 5 minutes for hot water to reach the shower. Power outage in the middle of the night during “work” on the property with electrical tools meant my husband cpap machine didn’t work. TV was small and picture was blurry. Difficulty accessing channels. Kettle was faulty. Had to turn it on z5 times before it worked Sorry above was what we didn’t like. What we did like was we had somewhere to stay but the quality was sub standard. Also had friends wanting to stay but were told you booked out yet there was only 4 cars in the car park. Being a motel we expected daily cleaners to make beds and replenish stock such as coffee and bathroom products. Neither occurred

njthorp (2/5): A very bad experience - QUEEN DELUXE ROOM, We booked in advance based on the lovely, welcoming photographs on the website and on reviews, that are glaringly obviously now, VERY dated (2023) and under the 'NEWS' section of website, references to 'upcoming' events from 3-7 years ago. None of these reflect the Costa Rica we found, so the website was very misleading! On entering the room, there was an OVERWHELMING smell of chemical cleaner, the toilet was horribly unclean, the net curtains on the glass ranch sliders were mouldy & the ranch slider had a broken lock, the carpet felt grimey and the ‘outside seating’ was an old wobbly table & two chairs which looked as neglected as the overgrown garden. The sun umbrella, was a skeleton of wire, because the entire umbrella shade was missing. We foolishly paid extra for a ‘deluxe queen’ room, which was no different from all the standard queen rooms! In hindsight, we should have gone elsewhere. We were glad to leave asap the following morning and would advise against staying there.

Helen (1/5): Booked through Booking.Com because of the reviews on this site. I paid top dollar for this accommodation & truly fee - Quiet Very unkept, Stained & Grey Linen(was supposed to be white). Was given 1&1/2 Toilet Rolls for 9 Days, 1/2 Box Tissue’s. Did not receive any cleaning of the room, bathroom, no change of Linen, no vacuuming. We had to go & ask for fresh Towels/Hand Towel. Very run down & filthy unkept ground’s. No Dishwashing Liquid, no Dish cloths, no Teatowels. Photo of Tennis Court & Stained Linen & Ripped Curtain.

Kim (4/5): Overpriced old and broken facilities - The staff were welcoming. The room was a great size with a small garden area. The staff keep the rooms very clean. The accomodation was excessively priced for the poor condition of the facilities. For example: 1. the tv had no attachment to the wall fitting so it was leaning on the table which meant we couldn’t use the table 2. The fan button was missing so unusable. 3. The light switch was faulty and zapped if you tried to press it. 4. Lamps had no bulbs! Because we couldn’t use the light switch we needed the lamps but they had the bulbs removed. 5. The room was tired and old. 6. The accomodation was a long way from town and taxis are difficult to get.

Strange smell in rooms (excessive floral air freshener)... vanilla is more neutral We were a group of 4. But hotel only provided chairs, plates and cups for 3. 4 towels, 2x cutlery, 1x mini milk, 3x mini soaps....... 4 guests means 4 chairs, plates, cups and cutlery.
Nada (1/5): WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN IN MY 30plus years of travelling!! - Nothing!! I don’t expect much from motor inns but this was next level poor quality. Poor quality, poor service!!! I frequently stay in motor inns this is disgusting!! I didn’t like that when I arrived the first thing the owner said was there’s a leak when he showed me the carpet was wet to which he offered towels to cover the floor!!! I also didn’t like the poor quality beds where I could feel the springs throughout the bed. The smell that went with the leak was also a hit!!!! These rooms as we weren’t the only room with leaks should never be available to the public. You can tell it was an ongoing issue based on the smell. The shower screens were broken and didn’t close properly. However the owner was acting innocent. At no point did he offer a discount or anything except a towel on the floor. We needed up spending time anywhere but our room until we were so tired we had to sleep!! Unfortunately no where else was available within our price range. I want to reiterate THIS ACCOMMODATION SHOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE IN THE CONDITION IT IS IN!!!

993anitat (10/5): Great Place to Stay - We booked on line for a two night stay at Costa Rica Motel. It was a very reasonable tariff . The manager was so very helpful and made us feel very welcomed. The room was very well appointed, large, clean and tidy. It was a very quiet location, the bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was great There is a lovely pool , bbq and a nice garden setting. You are half way between Coles and IGA and only about 1km from the centre of town. Great value for money.
