I really appreciated the heated blanket and the choice in options in regards to channels. The feeling of the bed but its just personal preference which was easily fixed by a mattress topper or blanket underneath. Other then that i didn't not like anything.

- ThomasErn (8/5): Affordable and comfortable - We stayed at Begonia City Motel in Sebastapol, not far from a wedding at Allurah in Magpie. (Yes, it’s a real place.) We scored the last suite, a family room with an extra bedroom for three kids which we did not require. With the easy to follow instructions Foxtel worked well. The air con was good enough, the shower hot and our double bed comfortable. We just had cereal and toast but there were facilities for a cook up if needed. We had no need for the pool. The price was excellent value.

- Philip (9/5): Great value for money compared to other accomodation in Ballarat. - Very good value. Quiet location. Car parking at the door. Old but clean. Great Spa. Foxtel/TV. Friendly staff. Lots of room (not a pokey room). 3 mins walk to Coles supermarket. 5 mins walk to more shops inc Aldi and Woolies. Nothing I didn't like. My only criticism is they could be modernised inside, and 5 kms to CBD, but will definitely stay again.

The Motel is a little tired however it was clean & the bed was lovely with the crisp white clean sheets, good parking, very quiet. Definitely value for money & yes we would definitely stay there again. As I said the motel is a little tired, stiff doors, things that could be fixed with maintenance.

The room was clean; the bed was clean and comfy, I had a good night's sleep; the bathroom was also clean; I had clean towels; the shower was ok. Although there are toiletries, I bring my own. Tele had Foxtel, which was good; there's a microwave to heat my food, a small fridge to store drinks and food, and there's also a kettle to heat up water, and free instant coffee. Also, there's a pool, but I never used it because summer's gone. I reckon, the price was a bit high. I stayed for 2 nights and paid $$... but somehow the clean and comfy bed compensated my stay.

- Tracy Yiu (10/5): This is our 2nd time stay at Begonia City Motor Inn. - The motel location was easy to navigate. Motel staff was friendly and helpful. The photos were most accurate and matched to the room we stayed. There were heaps of onsite parking that saved my parking panic. I could park right outside my room and unloaded my luggage. The room were clean, tidy, well-present and prepared and no odd smell. The beds were comfortable. The shower was okay with good water pressure and could have nice hot shower after having a long drive. Most of time were very quiet in the motel. Overalls, we were very happy and satisfied to our stayed at Begonia City Motor Inn. This is our second time stay in this motel, and we stayed in the same room as well >v<. I am highly recommended to everyone to book this motel. I did not have anything I did not like.

- kerryhA9845PH (4/5): Location very good and very clean. Some issues, would not return. - Easy to find on main road. Parking easy at the back. Only 5 minutes into Ballarat main town centre. Supermarkets, petrol stations, chemists and most services within a few minutes drive or walk. The unit was super clean and well provisioned with toiletries, towels, hair dryer, good size fridge etc. Cons were it was very old, family cabin had excellent second bedroom, but table in main lounge very small and couch would only seat 2, so not really suitable for a family of 5 for more than a night. Good kitchen facilities, tea, coffee, etc provided. Issues I found were, bathroom tap did not just drip but ran water and could not be turned off. Toilet leaked water around the base, a fair amount over two days. I could not get access at all to the free internet supposedly provided. I ended up leaving after one night. I told the lady at front counter on leaving of issues and she just said thank you! I found the man on reception while polite was abrupt and told me twice to pay when I had asked a couple of questions. Perhaps cultural difference but I found this unapproachable. Would not go back.

Bathroom needs updating but still very happy to stay here regardless as its always clean. Complimentry water bottles would be good in the fridge & possibly plates & cutlery in room rather than go back to reception to ask. Perhaps when checking in, reception could ask if we require this that way we can take to our room at check in rather than walk back to reception after a long tiring day. Overall this is my go to when I need a place to stay.
