• Jane (8/5): - It was a nice apartment in an excellent location Unfortunately on arrival the ensuite basin was blocked with mould so we purchased a treatment to fix it . Then the washing machine failed to spin water out ,we tried everything to sort it .We were told by Unwind holidays to take washing to laundry which we did on Sunday morning then on return the key to the underground carpark did not work ..flat battery. We then had to extricate the battery with a jewellers screwdriver ,find a shop that sold this battery ,fit it and then it worked. We wasted most of Sunday morning doing this . I sent a text to Unwind and did not receive an answer til Monday and an apology on Tuesday . All these issues compiled to make our stay frustrating to say the least

The lock box for the key collection is street's away from the actual property, it was really windy and absolutely hammering rain when we arrived and the lock box was out in the open. I was saturated just collecting the keys. It could and should be placed at the property.

Great security, car in secure underneath garage, lift access. Kitchen was well fitted out with all we needed. Nothing!

• Linda (9/5): Very enjoyable stay at this apartment. - The location was great and the apartment was fantastic, great facilities, really enjoyed. Two of the beds weren’t made up which was disappointing and I wasn’t thrilled with the Check in process. But, all in all it was a very good stay.

• Mark (9/5): Very comfortable and great location. - Location Shower had mould around base and glass door in both bathrooms. Inconvenient not having a second set of keys. Other than that a really lovely place to stay.

• Barbara (8/5): Very good - Location was great for walking to main street, restaurants etc. There are numerous restaurants of varied offerings. Beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the secure parking. The cockle train station is right next door, for a coastline ride to Goolwa, returning a couple of hours later. The horse-drawn tram across to. Granite Island just a 2 minute walk. We stayed for 2 nights and were happy with the accommodation, although there was no welcome basket, which I've always appreciated at other places. There was a bottle of wine. When it comes to value for money, I wasn't really happy because the total cost was more than double the actual accommodation cost. The accommodation cost was $500 for the 2 nights which was fine, but there were two sets of booking fees, $108.50 for Booking .com and another $121 'booking fee'. Cleaning fee was $291 which i guess would have been the same no matter how long the booking. The $300 bond I also guess would have been the same for a longer booking and that will be refunded. I accepted the booking because I was treating a valued friend, but next time I would check out the individual components of the cost because $500 accommodation actually involved an up-front cost of $1320.50. For a longer stay, the costs are probably more realistic.
• Gaynor (9/5): Australian Day Weekend - Location is fantastic, close to everything. Apartment is very clean and tidy. Balcony area is great. Unwind staff were great to deal with. Large beds are comfortable. There was no bbq provided. Single beds were very uncomfortable for adults. Couch was also uncomfortable. Apartment smells of stale smoke.

• Heather (10/5): Excellent, comfortable unit with great location. - Unit very spacious and well designed. Very clean and well equipped. Location was excellent - easily walk to centre of town to restaurants and shops. Two free secure car parks was greatly appreciated. Collection and return of keys was time consuming and away from property. Only one set of keys provided - we were two couples so it was very inconvenient if we wanted to do different things eg. play golf.

• Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect in walking distance to everywhere we needed and right in front of the beach, really clean and spacious with everything we needed in the apartment absolutely loved our stay we can't wait to go back and stay here again!
• Michelle (6/5): Pleasant - The location is perfect. Across the road from the beach and a playground. On the other side of the building is the tourist train. It's literally a minutes walk to the shops/restaurants. Well laid out apartment, our one had wifi. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/pots etc. Handy to have the laundry too. Host was really friendly and helpful during stay. The standard of cleanliness was hugely disappointing, especially considering how much it cost. The rug in the lounge had a heap of sand/dirt underneath it (we have young kids who play with everything). The patio was filthy to walk on. The carpet in the bedrooms is wearing thin and likely hasn't had a good vacuum over it, we had to move the single beds together for our kids and there was rubbish underneath the beds. There was hair in one of the bathrooms etc etc. I likely would look for an airbnb next time as this really put me off this option despite all of the positives.

No attention to detail - shampoo, conditioner, decent milk, a range of tea bags. Pillows were cheap. Rear bedrooms had light shining in all night.

• Debbie (9/5): Room with a view - The room was great. The view is spectacular. My bed was like sleeping on a cloud . Would highly recommend this place. The room was very cold all the time. We didn't know how to change the temperature. The company that they use to do the renting through were extremely annoying with their constant emails saying the Sam things all the time, even after we had checked out.
• Neville (9/5): Very comfortable and nicely fitted out. - It is a great location and within walking distance of most things in Victor Harbor. Plenty of eateries and coffee shops in the area and close to the Cockle Train Victor Harbour station. Unfortunately, we had to go to Port Elliot as there were no trains running from Victor Harbour when we were there. The train trip to Goolwa was really nice and a market at the station was worth visiting. Plenty of shops and eateries to fill in a couple of hours before the return train trip. The remote key collection center is some way from the actual accommodation, and you certainly need a car to get there, and back again at the end of your stay. Without Sat Nav we would have had trouble finding the place.

The apartment was very well appointed, scrupulously clean, very secure w great location. Multiple emails fronm Booiing.com re Breeze!!!! Lost count of how many but it was overload, especially for someone who is travelling - and therefore easy to miss things that are really important or urgent. Only thing needed was bin liners for the kitchen waste bin - which made taking rubbish out difficult. Suspect this was an oversight as it's pretty normal these days.

Also the $400 bond we had to pay up front, seemed excessive, we've stayed in some even nicer properties than this one and have never had to pay a bond.

• Jodie (8/5): Very good - Loved location so central to everything.The reason I scored it an 8 was because of the great location. The balcony could have been sweeped and outdoor furniture wiped over. Glass balcony doors were dirty, not hard to wipe off finger marks. The carpet in lounge area is very stained and that gives it a horrible look for first impression when u walk in. Stuff in kitchen cupboards need to be arranged in some sort of order just looks very untidy.

• Kel (6/5): Great location but overpriced - The location is absolutely fabulous, right near all the famous Victor facilities and playgrounds etc. The place really needs a deep clean and some tlc, specifically the carpets were really dusty and had quite a lot of stains in some areas, most of the taps were wobbly and loose, the non-stick frying pan was not really safe to use and smelt bad and the little tea, coffee and sugar provided was damp. Its way overpriced for the condition it's currently in. There was also a $400 admin fee???

• Kate (8/5): Beautiful long weekend!! - Beautiful location, lovely apartment..we had a wonderful weekend away. There needs to be some cleaning done however, the blinds in the bedroom and living room were filthy and some more seating in the loungeroom would be good too. We loved it though and will definately stay here again.
• Sandy (10/5): Can't wait to come back - We stayed here for two nights. We wished we were able to stay longer. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. It was close to the beach, shops and restaurants, but far enough away for it to be peaceful while sitting on the balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

• Robert (4/5): Great location, everything else not up to standard - We booked for 2 nights and in all reality the first night was a stressful experience compounded not only by the unhygienic and uncleanliness of the apartment but also the impact this had on us being able to relax and unwind upon our arrival and let’s be honest, thats the reason you go on holidays and pay for this to occur. Upon arrival the below was observed: - All towels (apart from 2 in the master bedroom) were in fact still wet and folded onto the beds and smelt damp/unclean - The floors in the bathrooms were still wet and slippery with foot marks visible - The mat in lounge area had bread crumbs, biscuits crumbs and food particles on it - The main carpet flooring in the master bedroom was stained - The main bed in the bedroom appeared that the bed was made hastily and in fact we questioned whether the sheets had actually been washed or if the bed was just made - The outside balcony area was nothing short of disgusting. The floors were absolutely filthy as was the glass table which still had drink and food stains on it. The area under the BBQ table was even worse. I spent close to one hour sweeping the floors, removing cob webs and dead insects from door frames and the tables and chairs as well as disinfecting the table in the hope of making it clean enough for our children to go outside. I seriously doubt that the outside area has been in cleaned appropriately in months let alone the last few weeks. Certainly way below any expectation
• Craig (10/5): Excellent location, quality apartment - Stayed for 4 nights. Excellent location right on the beachfront and in the town. Easy walk to shops, hotels and cafes. Quality apartment and well equipped.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice apartment - Excellent apartment for family stay. Only two concerns. One of the bedrooms is not ventilated at all, hence very hot and stuffy during the night. Secondly, car park spaces very small especially for four wheel drives. Lastly, some basic amneties such as shower gel, shampoo and washing powder would have been greatly appreciated.
• Christina (6/5): - We loved the apartment but were very disappointed with Unwind. Our checkin was very unprofessional and unorganised. We were chasing them up constantly for the keys to get into the apartment. I would never go through them again. Have never experienced this before ever.
• Miss Honesty (8/5): Great location and sea views! - Great location and lovely sea views. Areas for improvement - 1) proper and accurate check in information 2) need more than 5 coat hangers for 3 bedrooms & 6 people 3) need a clothes airer (we reluctantly had to use the tumble dryer).

Very happy overall with the accommodation. Well set out and ideal for anyone who wants to park the car and walk to eat and shop........
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice apartment, needs new blinds. - We arrived after 5pm so collected keys from office. Easy to find car park, & straight into the room. Apartment is well laid out. Big disappointment with blinds in main bedroom. At night the street light streams in and then the sun extremely early. We couldn't sleep in, which was very frustrating. Probably wouldn't stay here again because of the blinds. Considered sleeping in the other rooms, but they had Windows into the apartment corridor which wouldn't have been much better. Location is good.

• Jamie (6/5): Great Location - While the location is as good as it gets - make sure that you are on top of the booking. The expedia booking was on the money and there were no problems but on arrival we found that the booking had been transcribed incorrectly and was for a month later. After 30 minutes on the phone things were fixed but if there had not been a spare room we might well have been on the street. A couple of comments made during the fix up indicate that this may not be a unique occurrence. The apartment was modern and overall clean and comfortable. I would however recommend that glasses and cups take a quick run through the dishwasher as they were not really clean on arrival.
• Jules (8/5): Great views, close to everything - Great views, large apartment and close to everything you need or wish to see in Victor Harbor. Had all we needed to cook, relax and enjoy the area. Security features and double car park were a nice extra. Easy walk to all the pubs, restaurants, shops and attractions including Granite Island. Couldn't ask for more. Only downside was a mix-up with the deposit payment but easily sorted by agent who was extra helpful. (Through this we realised we payed more for this booking rather than the agent's special on the property but we wouldn't have found this wonderful property so it's ok.)

• Kristie (10/5): Apartment 22 Breeze Victor Harbor - A friend and I booked this apartment at short notice for a weekend getaway. The moment we entered the apartment we were blown away. 2 spacious bedrooms, main with private balcony and en-suite. A second bathroom/laundry then down the hall to another room with by-fold doors containing a sofa lounge. Then through to a modern kitchen living are with beautiful sea views which you can enjoy from the spacious balcony. Everything you needed was contained within the apartment, our time there was spent sitting out on the balcony enjoying the weather and views. If you open up the window closest to the kitchen and the massive sliding door to the balcony a fantastic breeze flowed through the room which was amazing and very relaxing. I am looking forward to coming back either with friends or with my family as the play ground is just down the road and they would love it.

I wasn't expecting a self serving place (had to remember to take out the trash before we left etc) but because of the way it was set up this was very easy to do. Complimentary bottles of wine and a gorgeous glass table to play games on and we were very very happy.

• vic (10/5): short break - This was meant to be a short break in winter. The apartment is very central in Victor Harbor and very quiet. The thick glass on balcony is great allowing views to sea without the road noise. Very comfortable rooms and to have a separate study was a real bonus.
