• Gemma (6/5): Pleasant but pricey - Location No indoor shower in master, not all windows had curtains/blinds so very bright , guest room and bathroom layout less than ideal. Expensive.
• James (8/5): Very relaxing, at least until the trades arrived in adjacent units - Spacious, clean & good facilities, with minor exceptions. The lack of ceiling height walls impacts privacy. The equipment & consumables need to be better checked, eg there are only 4 table knives ( mismatching), as opposed to a host of other utensils; one shampoo versus 5 body wash; the second bathroom has a mal- functioning basin plug & a flickering light; knitted throws on beds have stains. Description said two bathrooms, only the tiny one had a shower. Cheap beding, stuffy 2nd bedroom with aircon not working properly. But the most irritating and unacceptable was that the villa looked nothing like the pictures - they were of another villa. .but most of all,

It felt like a big beautiful Bali villa, high ceilings, beautiful furniture, amazing aircon system and fans, the bed was SO comfortable and we spent so much time in the pool and spa. We barely left the accomodation as it had everything we needed and was such a good vibe to just relax around and have a few drinks. Will definitely be back. Nothing - all perfect

The high quality furnishings, bedding, towels, rugs, bathroom products. The well equipped kitchen. The private pool and spa and the spacious outdoor area where we could enjoy meals and relax. The sense of being in a cosy private home. We were in a roadside villa and experienced occasional traffic noise. There was a sofa and only one chair in the living room - an extra chair would have been good. A drying rack in the laundry would have been useful as there was nowhere, other than an electric dryer, to dry washed garments (I prefer not to use a dryer).

• Vanessa (10/5): Will definitely be back! - The villa was absolutely stunning and full of luxuries. The location was perfect just a short walk to the restaurants and shops, in a peaceful oasis of nature. Nothing as everything was perfect.

The furniture in the lounge room was not great. The arm chairs uncomfortable. The lounge was Good. The laundry was dirty. Overall looking a little tired for the price.

• Briana (10/5): Beautiful - We are so happy we chose the Villas for our wedding accommodation. The villas are stunning and very spacious. They are well presented, have everything you need. They were wonderful place to get ready and to relax and recover. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you. Don’t get me wrong. We LOVE this place. There was just a couple of minor aspects that were not great. It is an expensive stay for a non- serviced villa. Worth it for a treat. This is more something from an accessibility perspective, design wise it is lovely but from the practical side having the toilets outside and upstairs is a bit of pain. It was a bit annoying when you have to go outside in the night, especially when it was raining heavily. I had a couple of slips and trips. The sensor light from a neighbouring villa kept shining right into our bedroom. It needs to be redirected towards the ground. The gutters need a bit of a clean out, there was lots of debris in them and they overflowed in the rain and shutters, especially in the bathrooms need cobwebbing.
• Teneille Casa (9/5): Tranquil Retreat - Spatious and tranquil, the villa transports you to the private villas of South East Asia. Each room is neat, clean with large beds and designer accents. Kitchen and Living spaces were also large and comfortable, with everything we needed! The bathrooms with outdoor shower was a little hidden gem that elevated the experience. We couldn't get the spa jets to work at this time but the spa temperature and styling made up for it!

Shower head seemed like it belonged to a kitchen sink, no indoor shower in the 2nd bedroom. Both toilets were outside and involved a series of steps. Not at all practical having outdoor toilets. The best Villa we’ve ever stayed in! - Right from the moment we entered the Villa we were totally blown away by the beauty in Japanese inspired architecture and the attention to detail with the luxe interior! It exceeded our expectations! Stunning! The added feature of the private outdoor pool/ hot tub and lounge/dining made it hard to even leave the Villa. I had read a lot of reviews about the outdoor toilet so I had my concerns but it wasn’t a bother but the step over into the toilet is a bit of a hazard so be mindful! The out door shower was so lovely and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook when we wanted and we found the whole Villa to have everything we required to just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous space. The bottle of bubbles was a lovely gift! We can’t wait to return! Magical! The only thing I think would have been an extra touch is a pair of slippers to go with the lovely robes that are supplied and I was glad to have a pair from staying at The Bower in Byron as it would be handy for guest to slip on especially going out to the toilet at night.

• Tamara (7/5): Spa villa - The villa is extremely spacious and well furnished. Full kitchen. The spa is divine. The toilets are separate huts that you have to exit the villa to get into. There is a step and ledge to get into the toilet. This could be a trip hazard in the night. There was no small snack nor fruit for a late arrival. This would have been a considerate touch. There were no tissues. The hot water wasn't working on our last day, cold showers.

We felt like we were in Thailand or Bali. The bed was super comfy and kitchen had everything we needed including a wonderful bottle of Moët champagne waiting for us on arrival.

Toilet is outside villa which is not made clear in description - really super awkward in the night and when heavily raining. Honestly great villa but I wouldn’t have booked with the outside toilet and really no need for it. Washing machine temperamental and so wash dishwasher. We washed by hand in end as dishwasher not great.

• Catherine (10/5): Perfect in every way! - We absolutely loved this Villa! It was easy to find with good support and instructions from staff to our enquiries about parking before we arrived. Ot was much more spacious than expected and the Balinese style beautiful and immediately relaxing. We adored the outdoor showers and our children needed none of the usual persuasion to shower! Even the toilets exceeded our expectations! Kitchen was well equipped and Aircon/ceiling fans worked well when needed. Beds extremely comfortable and enormous, sheets and towels high quality and plentiful. The private pool and jacuzzi were a total delight to our 2 boys even when it rained. Everything is thoughtfully designed to promote an immediately relaxing environment and our 4 night stay at Villas of Byron was our favourite part of our trip to Australia! Thanks you so much! Wifi slightly temperamental but personally I enjoyed this!

Very comfortable and extremely clean. Plenty of space for our family of four. A short drive from beaches and cafes, but that was perfect for us. We had a great relaxing holiday and highly recommend. Only negative for us was both toilets were outside. Interesting feature, but not ideal for night visits.

• Sophie (8/5): Beautiful accommodation with fantastic property management - Fantastic service, the Villas property managers were so so helpful and kind. Really spacious and comfortable, big rooms and such comfy beds. The detached toilets were a bit tricky, especially as we stayed when there was a lot of rain.
