- michelle (4/5): Disappointed - Location. The doona and sheets were clean. A fan I found in the cupboard is not considered airconditioning. The photos on the site must be of the best room, our room was far more outdated than pics described. No staff on site, restaurant only opened 3 nights a week. Floor was sticky, had to wear shoes the whole time, furniture very worn. Only 1 bedside table.

Towels, washers, hand towels were all stained, bed was very uncomfortable, tv was very small couldn’t see it properly. Curtains were old and dirty.

- Anne (5/5): Queenstown is an interesting town but not for long stays. - The motel was close to the town. The room was basic on the second level with dodgy stairs and railings. Unfortunately, there was no one in reception who I could ask about a change in rooms. There was a note on the door telling you your room number stating your key was in the door.

We didn't see any staff the two days we were there. In fact when we arrived, our name was posted on the closed reception door with our room number, for all to see, and the key was in the lock on our door. (A safety issue there, especially if I was a solo female traveller). The restaurant was not operational.

The key was meant to be left on the door for self-checkin, but was left in the wrong room door, so had to make a call and wait for someone. Our tv didnt work for the duration of the stay. Didnt feel very warm and inviting, but motels can be like that.

Das Motel ist in die Jahre gekommen, was mich nicht unbedingt stört, aber es war nicht sehr sauber, besonders die Badewanne. Die Bettwäsche war sicher gewaschen, aber sah ziemlich vergilpt aus. Dafür fand ich den Preis zu hoch.

The window in the kitchette did not have a blind or curtains and the sun shone straight into the room at 5 am. It made the room so bright that it woke me up. The room cleaner was knocking on the door at 9 am, even though checkout was 10 am. There was no air-conditioning nor a ceiling fan.
