- Kathy (7/5): Long weekend at Labrador, Gold Coast - The location (Labrador) was good for me to visit family. Only 5 minutes from the boardwalk at the beach. Bed was very comfortable and shower pressure good. Gentleman very welcoming at reception. Looking a bit tired. Mirrors in bathroom had black marks, and also marks on the bathroom wall where things have been taken off but not repainted. Had to wash dishes in bathroom as no sink next to microwave and jug, but that was OK.

A request for a ground floor room wasn't responded to in a timely manner - because of this my 74yr old mum had to walk up and down stairs with bad knees - had our message been responded to with a No early - we would've made alternative arrangements.

Parking right outside the rooms and convenient location to nearby themeparks. It would be nice if the tvs had the option to stream netflix but not a deal breaker

- Alex (8/5): Really good for one night. Could have stayed longer. - The checkin process was interupted by phone calls and so took quite a long time. Once the calls were finished the process was quick and easy. The room was clean and functional. Bed was soft. The pillow was actually useable. The back balcony was tiny but nice with frash air and shelter from the nieghbours. Food up the road was cheap. The room was a bit stuffy with 3 in it. We did not use the a/c because I didn't know if it would be too noisy.

- Talitha (10/5): Very pleased with our short stay, would stay again if needed. The perfect place to stop in & rest on a long trip. Th - The double bed was extremely comfortable, the man who checked us in was lovely & very accomodating - happy to help us with two cars. The location was ideal, close to everything but also enough out of the way to avoid heavy traffic. The wifi was solid - fast & steady.

I felt that the place was very dated with cracks in the sink, looks like tile grout has been painted over to possibly cover mould stain in shower. Really old powerboards which looked very old and should be replaced. The alarm went off in the night which probably means they need a battery check.

It had everything we needed! Air con and fan worked really well!! I only say as my daughter is allergic to dust and her face swells up that the fans and some things in the room were dusty, but I cleaned them and it was all good!

- Nicole (3/5): Never would we stay there again! - It was in a good location and easy to find. I’ve stayed in many motels and this would have it be the worse I’ve ever been at. The room was dark and gloomy, floors were sticky with no shoes on, the shower didn’t work properly, just a dribble coming out and the remote control had a piece of tape over the battery compartment and you had to hold the batteries in to get the remote to work. Not very safe for children at all. The grout in the bathroom was also mouldy.
- Siu Hung (1/5): Worst experience ever!!! - I couldn’t successfully get into the property. I didn’t receive the check-in instructions in advance, not via email nor via this Booking.com App. When I arrived the property that night, the reception is closed (which is fine for my late check-in time) but there’s no way I could contact the property and couldn’t get the room number & keys. I was standing outside the property with my family (with 2 kids!!) until 11pm. And needed to leave hopelessly to find another hotel. The next one we tried also got no vacancy, and we had to find another one at extra cost!! I’m extremely disappointed for this property’s arrangement. It doesn’t make sense to leave me no message (or email) while there’re dozens of alternatives that they could let me know the check-in information (which is super normal and easy for any other properties I stayed!!!) but they just didn’t even do so. Apart from the above terrible experience, I mostly dislike the way how the property handled my case. They didn’t provide me helpful support when I needed them on-site. The next day when they replied my message (here at Booking.com App) they said they couldn’t help because “You (I) should have made the arrangements (for my late check in)”. Again, I think this is totally irresponsible to have said that to a traveler customer who had already paid the room. And they didn’t even try the most sensible approach which is to simply leave the instructions via email/App!!! I’m writing this as a formal complaint and would appreciate booking.com to intervene and support. I’m requesting a full refund and compensation.

We felt like we were at home and welcomed, minimal rules, very flexible and supportive Motel is old and tired, but understandable given current economic state and lack of builders/building supplies for renovations

- Harry (6/5): Very well maintained motel and clean but need to improve on providing enough toilet paper. - The air conditioner worked. They didn't provide enough toilet paper. 2 rolls for a family of 5 people and no spare garbage bags for a 6 night stay. You had to ask consistently to get toilet paper and than they only gave you 2. It's a 4 star motel where I paid over $2600 and shouldn't have to worry about running out of toilet paper. I mean at Woolworths you can buy 12 rolls for $6. And they have a sign in there motel room where they will clean your room but you must leave the sign out but there wasn't one. So put a piece of paper on the door instead saying clean my room. And guess what they didn't and we still had no toilet paper and was was using tissues. And this a 4 star motel. But not very good with toilet paper and plastic bags.
