- Helen (9/5): - Great accessibility, provided breakfast supplies which was a lovely surprise. The accommodation was comfortable and roomy.
- Petr017 (7/5): Long weekend getaway - Location is perfect and quiet. Every room has enough pravicy so you dont have to see other visitors if you dont want to. Room equipment looks exactly like in pictures it brings you back 30years back in time.
While property look dated and need some maintenance and love.
- Janet (8/5): A Place to Breathe - We needed a break from the hustle & bustle, and we found it! Lovely relaxing place to stay. Sound of birds in the morning & late afternoon. Watching the birds come in to feed right outside our verandah. Walk down to river (unfortunately I had an injury which prevented this, but husband enjoyed it). Really large space, comfy bed. Fridge restocked with milk, juice. Friendly owner who made sure we had everything we needed and was a good source of information about the surrounding area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

- Shashindran (10/5): A relaxing and memorable stay, with the peaceful surroundings and incredible native birdlife - I had a wonderful stay at Tweed Cottage in Bridgetown and genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from everything.
The cottage itself was immaculate, cozy, and very thoughtfully set up. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it feel instantly welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home, and settling in was effortless.
I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the sense of privacy, which made the whole stay even more relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can properly switch off and recharge. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend Tweed Cottage to anyone visiting Bridgetown. I’d definitely love to come back again. I honestly didn’t have any issues during my stay. Everything was well maintained, comfortable, and exactly as expected. I really enjoyed the experience overall.
One of the highlights was the bird feeder, I loved seeing so many of Western Australia’s native birds, especially the galahs, which gathered in large numbers and created such an incredible view. I also spotted other species like rainbow lorikeets and a Western rosella, which made the stay feel even more special and connected to nature. I would happily stay here again without hesitation.

- Margaret (9/5): Perfect stay for adults. Private and peaceful. - Top notch. I loved the peace and quiet. The beautiful birds coming in to feed and the bunnies at the door. So pretty outside. River running by. Unit floors could have been cleaner. But everything else was superb.

- Tricia (9/5): We had an amazing holiday and highly recommend Tween Valley Lodge - Location was amazing, very peaceful retreat, villa had everything we needed, lovely and clean, bird life plentiful. Met owner Julian and his dog Rosie a couple of times who was very helpful telling us about an event happening in Manjimup and local Sunday markets in Bridgetown That we only had 3 days to spend there😋
- Carmel (9/5): -
- Sandy (7/5): Although the property is somewhat dated, the unit was roomy and comfortable. - Situated on the banks of the Blackwood River, quiet and peaceful. The only noise heard was birdsong Quite old and dated, broken floor tiles and rusty shower head
- Stan (10/5): A very peaceful, tranquil place to relax and very central to the great South West region of WA. - The location is fantastic, it's very quiet and tranquil the facilities are great, I really enjoyed the balcony and BBQ area overlooking the river. The proprietor was very helpful with making sure I had everything I needed and information of the local events and places of interest. Nothing
- Wayne (8/5): Good Value in a quiet area with spacious clean accommodation. - The breakfast pack was good value. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The area was quiet and not too far from Bridgetown. Parking was convenient right in front of the unit. Ease of checking in. The decking and outside area need some maintenance.
Wasn't sure about checking out procedure with the key.
- martine (7/5): - Le lieu du gîte dans la nature
Grande chambre Le petit déjeuner était inexistant
Logement un peu vieillot pour le prix et mal isolé

- anita (9/5): Hidden gem in a superb setting - What a beautiful location - right on the river and set amongst the trees. So many birds to see and hear. The starry skies at night were magical. Rooms are massive and comfortable and the bed was huge . Having a BBQ was fabulous and the breakfast was a welcome treat. Everything was just as we wanted it. Thank you. Nothing at all - it was fantastic
- Ursula (9/5): Enjoyed it - Average
- Neville (6/5): Lovely location but tired facilities - View Extremely poor lighting. Also bed
side lamp not working
- Maggie (9/5): -
- Karen (6/5): Nice - The hot water Building quite old and light in kitchen didn’t work
- jane (10/5): Tweed Valley vacation. - Was a very comfortable place to stay. Parked outside the door. Loved the birds and the garden. Loved the kitchenette. Had a microwave. But I suggest you bring your own breakfast. I enjoyed the shops on the main street. Nice little town. Only 30 minutes to Manjimup. Just breakfast, not knowing what you are getting. Was in the fridge when we arrived. But suggest to bring your food.
- Dartagnan (10/5): A perfect little getaway for people tired of the big city - beautiful location, lovely host, great ammenities

- Glennie (9/5): - Such a peaceful stay. Loved the gardens and river views, and this is a bird lovers paradise. There are BBQs but weren't clean, so I'd bring my own portable one next visit. Not being able to turn off the sensor light in the hall next to the bedroom was annoying.
- Marylou (7/5): -
- Beverley (9/5): Lovely natural setting - Good sized room, comfortable twin beds & good supply of hot water & pressure in shower. Lovely natural setting near the river & great to see so many birds. Not very far from town.. Cups, bowls etc very basic & bit sparse.
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Chris (10/5): -
- James (9/5): Incredibly comfortable & relaxing - Fantastic setting overlooking the gardens & the river with birds feeding just off the edge of our verandah. Plenty of space and wonderful included breakfast. The large covered parking area at the door and the private verandah at the back made it feel like our own holiday house. The owner was so welcoming & did everything he could to ensure we had a really comfortable stay.
- David (9/5): -
- Eleanor (7/5): A really beautiful spot. Reasonable facilities. - Amazing location. It’s a five minute drive to town which suited me. It’s not ideal for walking to town as the road is without a path. But many lovely walks available if you don’t mind driving a little bit first. Beautiful gardens and birdlife as advertised. Do bring mosquito spray. Room was generously sized along with breakfast items which were included.
Facilities were reasonably clean and ample supplies available. The property was a little dated and entryway was dark and unlit. Reception wasn’t manned whilst I was there so I contacted the number given and left a message asking for instructions to find the light switch or to have the bulb replaced. I didn’t receive a response and the issue wasn’t addressed.
The patio doors into the garden needed maintenance… they were stiff and heavy and would have benefited from a clean given the stunning views available.
Instructions for checkout were not clear and as reception wasn’t manned I posted the key in the letterbox.
- Trina (7/5): Restful - Beautiful views and surroundings The kettle in the room was internally black and smelt, had to ask for it to be replaced.
Breakfast wasn’t originally supplied as we had booked through bookings.com
- Lisa (8/5): -
- Gillian (8/5): A quiet location for a mid-week break. - The room was as expected as we had stayed at Tweed Valley Lodge in the past. The kitchenette facilities are good with enough crockery, cutlery and glassware for our group. The bed was comfortable, and we both had a good restful sleep each night. A tasty continental breakfast was appreciated, No WIFI.

- Steven (9/5): -
- Jennifer (7/5): -
- Shelley (8/5): - Loved the beautiful garden surroundings
Comfortable rooms
- rose (8/5): Great place for a weekender - Location was gorgeous, with lots of birds and places to sit right by the river. Rooms were nice and tidy, close to Bridgetown center, and a heater kept the place warm (and well insulated that even without it on during heavy rain and early mornings it was warm anyway). Nice to spend a day in even without going out much. Great for a weekender especially. No wifi couldn't really use any of the TV options and ate through my phone data, and no way to clean the bbq's to use them so had to eat out or grab take out for dinner.
- David (8/5): Great location, great birdlife, good facilities. - Great location close to town but far enough away to be quiet and isolated. Gardens outside the unit are pleasing, bird life is fantastic, feeding on your door step. A little dated but still clean and comfortable.
- Ioannis (7/5): -
- Kay (8/5): Beautiful setting with everything you need in older style, but comfortable, room - A selection of cereals with fresh milk, toast, orange juice and tubs of fruit. The rooms could really do with an upgrade or at a least a good spring clean.
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (8/5): Very pleasant - Pleasant and warm. Lovely big room with terrace and view Unfortunately there is no wifi at the property
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barry (6/5): Pleasant - Was charged for king room/bed & was only a queen bed.
- Jean (9/5): Very satisfying, - Location Bbq facilities require attention
- Joanna (10/5): - This lodge was the perfect escape from the city! Well maintained, and the room was comfortable and spacious. A beautiful location close to the river.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Lesley (8/5): Very good - Location and being up in the trees with all the birds
- Greg (7/5): Okay - Location Couch. Pillows
- Fran (5/5): Not four stars - It was clean. The view was lovely. It was a bit off the beaten track with nothing to do within walking distance. The facilities were basic. Free breakfast was bread, some cereal hand-packed into plastic bags & some milk. The knife and fork symbol in the ad was VERY misleading. There was no wifi and limited tv reception.
- Otto (10/5): Restful nature - Large room in complex of eight in great forest setting
- Gabrielle (10/5): Exceptional - It was absolutely fantastic!
If you are a bird lover then this is a must stay!
We adored waking up to the sounds of happy birds each morning and seeing them all feeding in the evening. Nothing
- Jo (8/5): Very good -
- Tracy (9/5): Superb - Missed having wifi
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Mena (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (9/5): Second time I’ve stayed and was as good as the first time -

- Sally (9/5): Superb -
- Allen (8/5): Very good -
- Sheryl (9/5): Superb - Very large, well equipped room, comfortable bed, lovely quiet location.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Relaxing, friendly people and environment. - All the staff were accommodating and friendly. Checked in with us daily, was a beautiful location close to the river with access to the bank.
- Jennifer (4/5): Rather disappointed that we couldn’t walk down to the water’s edge. Overall a sad property and wouldn’t recommend to any - Location was great and room was clean. Was looking forward to bird feeding but saw none. The facilities were old and need an upgrade. Bbq was unusable as it was rusted through around the interior and the pans supplied covered in dirt and spiders.
- Janica (8/5): Very good - The grounds and lovely setting by the river with outdoor deck
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Jana (9/5): Superb -
- Janet (8/5): Very picturesque - Lovely spot watching the parrots and wild birds.Room was comfortable but crockery did not match. Owner very helpful and friendly. Town very pretty but everywhere closed at 2 pm Only the pub where you could get a meal,
- Hewson (9/5): Superb -
- Pallagi (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean and quiet with a beautiful garden You could hear the neighbours very clearly, so the sound insulation between rooms is not good.
- Dodson (9/5): Superb -
- Dianne (10/5): This is the place to stay in Bridgetown, it's beautiful. - I loved the room it's self and how spacious the room was. The view outside was amazing, and there were seats and tables to enjoy the view as well. There was nothing that i didn't like.
- Lisa (10/5): Great little getaway where everything was easy. - Quiet location close to town but with the natural environment all around. I loved looking at the majestic marri trees from my window and enjoyed the red capped parrots, pink and greys and others coming to feed.
Hot shower, comfy bed, simple east kitchenette. Simple easy self- managed breakfast. Quick zip in and out of town. Most of all - the quiet simply renewing! Nothing. All good.
- Graham (7/5): Tranquil and cost - The location just out of town was great. It was very tranquil and so quiet.
The owner feeds the local birds between 3-5pm outside each room and there was a variety of parrots and galahs come for the feed N/A
- Paini (9/5): Superb -
