Victoria (1/5): We always stay here and never had these issues before but now it’s put me off - We always stay at the Gateway when in Manjimup as it’s close by for us to where we are going. The double bed was rock hard !!! The single bed was broken and rattling all night , even with the slightest movement. The fridge in the room was on its way out as that was making a noise all night to.
Alex (5/5): Good if you plan to dine at the restaurant, not ideal otherwise - According to Google Reviews it's the best restaurant in town It seems the owner assumes that having one of the best restaurants in town means in-room kitchen facilities aren’t necessary. But that’s not always the case. We arrived around 3 pm and found the restaurant closed. Luckily, we had brought some food with us, but there wasn’t even a basic microwave in the room to heat it up, which was surprising for a motel. Additionally, the kettle was rusty inside, which made it unpleasant to use. As a result, we ended up having cold food and tea with visible rust particles. Overall, this place might work well if you’re planning to rely on the restaurant, but it’s not a great option if you need basic in-room amenities.

Carol Malone (7/5): - Bathroom is newly renovated so very nice The road noise was bad and the people in the rooms in the same row as my room felt the need to have loud and long talks right at the front of my door until about 9pm I could hear every word said. I'm the morning as they started leaving for work starting at about 4am they where very loud again, made it very hard to have a restful sleep. The cutlery in the room was dirty and there was no microwave

Melissa (8/5): Our favourite place to stay in Manjimup. - They’ve built new accomodation which is really nice. We’ve stayed in a donga previously but this time in a Chalet. Great restaurant on site. The new Chalets are great but they just need a bit more of a clean in-between guests. The walls are marked, some dirt/dust build up here and there and the shower grout could do with a bleach.

Hoang Anh (9/5): - Just a very short drive into the town centre, heritage site and King Jarrah Tree. Quiet hotel area but very vibrant and fun atmosphere at the pub/restaurant. The highlight was definitely the Italian food served at the restaurant - we had dinner there for both nights, worth every penny and one of the best places in our opinion.

Joshua (10/5): Very high praise for the staff and servers, a squeaky bed being the only negative, Highly recommend - Excellent service and friendly staff, the restaurant served some seriously nice meals. Even the other patrons at the bar were cheerful and welcoming on top of the great staff. After two other motels with low water pressure it was a dream to get a high pressure shower after a long ride on the motorbikes. Will definitely keep it in mind for our next trip through Manjimup. The only downside I can comment on was the very squeaky single bed in our room. It’s fine if you’re a still sleeper but as someone who tosses and turns, it was a somewhat rough night but not bad enough to put a damper on the rest of it.

Sophia (9/5): - Das Essen war überragend lecker! Absolute Empfehlung :) Das Hotel und die dazugehörige Bar hat ein bisschen Truckeratmosphäre. Ist eben keine romantische Residenz, aber absolut sicher als alleinreisende Frau und für eine Nacht 100 Prozent zu empfehlen.

Mark (5/5): If you just need somewhere to have a pint, grab a nice meal and sleep for a night then it fits the bill. - Restaurant meal was very good. Easy check in. Late checkout no problem Small with double bed up against wall. Bed is quite hard.

He upgraded our room without additional costs & relocated us to a quieter area. The restaurant served delicious, freshly cooked food served by attentive staff.

There is a common room with facilities to warm up food if required. Nothing in particular.

Andreas (8/5): - Jag hade ett enkelrum, det var ett litet rum i barack liknande byggnad, extremt lyhört. Du hör allting från dina grannar. Men, sängen var bra, duschen var bra, och även om det ligger lite utanför Manjimup så är det ändå en kort promenad dit. Stannade två dagar här, och åt också på restaurangen, och den var bra,. Jag har varit på några andra restauranger i Manjimup, och ja, resturangen här är bra. Det var väldigt lyhört, men priset vägde upp.

Kathleen (10/5): This two night stay was exactly what I needed to continue my ride on the Munda Biddi - I arrived on bicycle, cold wet and 100% miserable. The staff and owner could not have been more kind and helpful! Cheered me up endlessly. It was chicken parma night at the pub, and it was delicious and hit the spot for this hungry Munda Biddi bikepacker!
