- Geraldine (8/5): Great night's sleep both times - I stayed at the Seaton Arms Motor Inn on my way to and again from Canberra/Geelong. I requested a ground floor room and was put in room 2 both times. The room is spacious, clean and well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the inclement weather I was warm and cozy in my room both times. The staff I met were warm and friendly and the Inn is easy to find. The place is fairly old, so there are some signs of wear and tear, otherwise I would have rated it excellent.

The noise from the people above was beyond a joke, you could hear every footstep and the water pipes screamed every time they were turned on. You could also hear every bit of noise from next door too. We have stayed in many different places in our time but this was by far the worst. Had another long day of driving and poor sleep. Stay anywhere else but here!

Easy to find, Staff very helpful - nothing was a problem - parking easy and a very quiet place (several other accommodation places were very noisy, ie road noise nearby/outside, other noisy residents - at one place they talked until 0615am!!!) but Seaton Arms was quiet and comfortable, convenient and felt good. Only downside was, in the morning we discovered the shower head would not stay up and you had to hold the lever down on the toaster to make it work. I did advise reception and they were going to look at both straight away. We would definitely stay here again.
