Important Information
Due to a fire, we have no restaurant on site. At current we have no timeframe on when this will reopen. There are other restaurants in walking distance of our venue.
If you expect to arrive after 20:00, please contact the property in advance to arrange key collection, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that the bar is open from 10:00, Monday to Saturday. It is open from 12:00 on Sundays. Please note that bistro hours are as follows: Lunch 12:00 until 14:00. Dinner 18:00 until late.

- Keith (10/5): Epic stopiver for bike riders - We eere in a group of 5 on a motorbike tour. They had a safe a secure place for us to park our bikes for the night. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Diggers Tavern will be ob our stop over list every time we head south. Cheers Fred That we couldnt stay longer

- Lloyd (8/5): Good value stay in Bellingen - It was very clean and rooms were refurbished. It was surprisingly quiet. Bistro handy. Staff were great The instructions are very clear about the steps from the rear carpark so just be aware.

El motel está anexo a un bar restaurante con mucha animación, sin ser molesto. La entrada puede ser un poco rara ya que el check in se hace en el bar.

- Flynn (10/5): Comfortable, and perfect for what I had come for. - I was a 'groupie brandmother' from Red Rock, attending an evening next door of a group of 'travelling minstrels' from Hungary and Australia. My grandson was the drummer. How could I possibly miss that? I have stayed in your accomodation many times over the years for various events when I lived in Coffs, including Camp Creative. I knew I would be comfortable. When I found myself locked out around midnight, after waving the bus load off to The Castle in the Promised Land, I was graciously greeted, and offered a drink and some pleasant conversation with some charming folk! You can't beat that. Thank you very much. Nothing really. I had some difficulty with the air con.

I turn the air con on and I could not get the temperature right, the room was too cold, maybe it was me but then I gave up and slept in a hot room.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Quiet and comfortable - The room was comfortable and the free cereal breakfast was welcome. The bistro was crowded but the meal was good. It's a bit of a climb from the car park up the stairs to the motel, though you can come in through the pub.

Beds were hard, and AC vent was broken so cold air blew straight on to bed, slept in single because of it. Check-in staff wasn't friendly. TV didn't have free-to-air option.

The only negative was the access from the car park at the back into the rooms. We are two senior women, myself in my mid 70s and suffer arthritis. Trying to get our two suitcases up those back steps was very difficult indeed.

- Glenn (8/5): A pleasant surprise - Well located in the centre of town with an easy walk to everything you need. The Bistro has a good menu and serves quality pub food with fast service. Prices are competitive with similar venues. The room was large and clean and perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. Bed was excellent. The rear entrance to the accommodation is several short flights of stairs. There is a level entrance through the bar during trading hours but you are walking in through the middle of the bar area. If you arrive or leave outside bar hours you're stuck with the back stairs. This is mentioned in the property description and it's definitely something to consider if you have mobility issues or are carrying luggage. I would not leave any spare luggage or valuables in a car overnight. Bellingen has social problems and opportunists like everywhere else.

- Sharyn (3/5): For $190 I expected it to be at least not smelly - Bellingan was beautiful the bar and food were lovely The room we had mould all over the ceiling, we woke up with sore throats only one of us had a shower because the floor in the shower was incredibly slippery ( pointed out to cleaners and they said others had complained) the wall was soft between bathroom and bedroom. No lift have to drag your luggage up 2 flights of stairs
