• PoppetAustralia (2/5): Avoid - Absolutely disgusting. I read reviews prior to booking and was dubious. However it was the only pet friendly accommodation available and because we were relocating from Queensland to Victoria, there was no option. All arranged by telephone. Given price of $189.00 on booking. Due to late arrival, midnight, we called ahead to organise payment. Given $199.00 as price. I explained that I was told $189.00, accepted. On arrival. Room very small. Carpet was wet. Freezer in fridge not usable, over iced. Bathroom revolting. Toilet seat unhinged. Toilet roll holder broken and taped with bandaid. Walls dirty. Curtains, lace dirty and missing hooks. Plates and cups all mismatched. Poor maintenance. Everything felt grubby. What happened to pride in providing an enjoyable experience and super service? Spent 9 hrs for $189.00. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
• victoriacollinge (10/5): Great Find! Will stay here again. - We stayed here en route from Queensland to South Australia. A A A very pleasant gentleman looked after us and checked us in. The room was spacious and clean. The bedding configuration was excellent and the sheets and towels were good quality. The shower was lovely and hot and quite powerful and it was an altogether a very, exceptional experience for a small roadside motel
• FordRanger2018 (8/5): one night stay - Booking in was easy, plenty of parking, close enough to town, has all the Mod cons you will require, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, if you are a light sleeper, you may hear the trucks coming through of the evening. i think it's a bit on the dear side of things.
• 829rowans (4/5): Overpriced, basic, grubby - We stayed here one night with our dog and were charged a whopping $189 for one night! Very basic motel room with tiny kitchen bench (no sink). There were cockroaches and stains on the bed. I’m sure there are much better options for a night’s accommodation on a road trip. It’s in an industrial area about a kilometer from town centre, so not a great position. Learn from my mistake and confirm a price before you arrive. Would have been ok at half the price like other basic motels used on our road trip. Ripped off!
• Stevejansen (10/5): Dog friendly - Very nice place to stay. Dog friendly, clean rooms, hospitable staff. Basic rooms, but you don’t need much when your on a big trip as long as they are clean, well presented and inviting. Definitely would stay there again. Our dogs were also welcomed.
• P76IAbrianm (4/5): Holiday Night 2 - Booked this room & was soon advised that the room was no longer available. We were offered another room but it was a family room as we were only 2 i saw no issue with this. When we booked in i was charged extra for the family room but not the total amount. This seemed to be fair to the attendant but i did have reservations & advised i would take this up with Trip advisor on my return. Room was old & in need of some repairs & maintenance. Value for money No. You can get better in town for same money. Would we stay here again No. .I have stayed at the place right next door & is much more pleasant. Do Yourself The Favor Give This one A Miss
• CodyMav (8/5): Aalbany Motel - Clean & comfortable room. Spacious. Off-street parking right to the front door. The hosts were excellent and helpful, a simple request for an extension lead was met with cheerful assistance. No hesitation to return here on my next road trip
• missfaye01 (8/5): Amazing Hosts - The owners of this property were completely amazing, went above & beyond to accommodate us when we had a breakdown & were waiting on repairs! They picked us up dog & all, offered to take us into town for food & to pick up car, let us in early as we had nowhere else to go, gave us great info on the area & checked everything was ok. The room was a good size & very clean. Can't recommend them enough for anyone wanting an overnight or holiday accommodation with pets although, there is a surcharge for pets. Amazing stay!!

I’d been driving over 8 hrs and still had 6 to go !! Room is very quiet considering other guests here with dogs and we are on a main road. Great bbq / grassed area at the back of the property.

Lovely and clean, friendly manager, water bowl and nice grass area located at the back of the motel. Highly recommend 👍

Room very clean (we had our doubts because of frequent guests with pets). Aircon cool and silent. Bathroom spotless. Beds firm and linen fresh. Staff friendly. This is our first road trip with dog and I reckon it will be our last, but this motel stood out as a nice stop.

The room is spacious, with a lounge and queen size bed and kitchenette. Very clean, with pool and outdoor BBQ area. Highly recommended.

• 503grantn (10/5): Spacious room - An older style set up but very functional. A large room with simple furnishings. A nice outdoor area with a pool and a covered Bar-B-Que area. A healthy walk to town or a short drive for dinner , some small shops nearby. Continental breakfast available

Following morning Owner claimed my card did not work and charged me for the night. Did not mention it was not my card at all but a number provided by wotif. The number was valid a week later. Contacted wotif they contacted owners and I have spoken to the owners about it. No attempt to refund less an admin fee (as it was my mistake) Night cost me over $200.00

Microwave and toaster meant we could eat simple without going out after the days journey even though there were many places to eat nearby.

The rooms have been tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Could not fault this except the room was limited for the larger vehicles but that is not a great problem.
