- Peter (9/5): Newly renovated motel - The room looked new, it had obviously been renovated which was great. Freshly painted, new flooring and bench tops in kitchen area. Appliances, cutlery, plates etc were clean. Good supply of tea, coffee Very modern looking. Seeing staff or having a receptionist greet us. We were there for 2 days and saw know one, reception was always closed. Didn’t know if motel offered breakfast as no one to ask
- Kate (7/5): - Well equipped, spacious, everything I needed. The pool was small but a godsend. Basic kitchen set up was really useful for making in room meals. Lock on door desperately needs to be fixed. Couldn't open the door twice, had to call for help to get in.

- John (7/5): We were not interested in any more than a place to stay as we drove through the town - One of best 1 star hotels I have ever stayed at. I owuldn't give it any more than one star. There was a dead bug on the floor, that I kicked under the bed before my wife saw it.

- Paul (6/5): I would stay here again - I like staying at this motel as it offers basic comfortable rooms with all amenities. I feel safe and secure whilst at this motel. It is a modestly competitively priced motel for what is offered. Having stayed here many times, I know the standard of the room I am paying for. The pool desperately needs some attention. After a long drive on a hot day, I really didn't want to swim with the frogs and leaves. Having to ask the cleaning lady for extra toilet rolls and tissues was embarrassing. The 'decorative shrubs' adorning the access to the rooms need to be a major rethink. Nice paint job on car doesn't welcome scratches from shrubs. Perhaps a significant cut back or replaced with smaller shrubs in pots.

Spare pillows in cupboard were dirty with what looked like blood stains. Tha only staff member I interacted with barely spoke english.... very disappointing stay.

I had to spend about 30 minutes fixing the toilet seat as I had other family members who needed to use the toilet. As they charged nearly $400 for the room, we expected the room would have basic quality on main ficilities.

- Adrian (6/5): The view was good and a quiet location. Reasonable value for the money. - It was in a quiet location and the view was was good. There were many smokers and it was necessary to walk past then to get to our room. The parking allocated for our room was unuseable as the bushes need trimming.

The reception room was clean although there was a strong smell of spices being used for cooking which was a bit overpowering

- Alan (8/5): South Town Bega Motel - Just recently renovated, everything was updated, clean and shiny. Good size room with comfortable bed and the lighting was excellent. Some motel rooms are so dark! TV reception was terrible but probably not their fault. Did need more towel rails in the bathroom. Local info on where to eat would have been welcome.

- Michael (10/5): fantastic room. - although a small room it does have some modern touches. bed was comfy bathroom was nice. pool looked good and clean though we didn't get time to use. nice touch is soap dispenser over sink and in shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all much better than fidly small bottles found in most places and the dreaded hard to open soap bar. generous serve of milk as opposed to the mini ones most places have. air con is on the older side so a bit noisey.
