- Z8563NXjasons (2/5): Worst accommodation I have stayed in all of Australia - Filthy rooms, rude management, never clean, do not ever stay there.
- justeenm2026 (2/5): Terrible stay - Terrible stay, unclean rooms, dirty sheets, hair and dust in showers, black mold. BBQ did not work. We asked management to re-clean the rooms before we returned from work which they said they would only to find nothing done and the management had left for the day with no-one around. we had to change motels. I was told we would get a refund for the nights we did not stay, but they still took extra night and hung up when questioned. Save yourself the hassle and stay elsewhere.

- Michelle (7/5): Location was good for overnight stay - The location close to where we had event, as well as shops. The blankets had stains, there was a dripping sound coming from the room roof (yes it had been raining) and the receptionist was abrupt not a great welcome.

- Shylicia (2/5): Horrible - Nothing there was nothing at all to like about it. The rooms need to be upgraded so does the bathrooms. Rooms need to be cleaned from dust. First impressions on the staff she had ridiculous attitude threw the keys on the bench on check in was not kind respectful at all.

Owner/cleaner let herself into my room early in the morning wjen i was still trying to sleep, no knocking or announcement just saw me and said oh sorry and walked out. Not impressed. No shampoo or conditioner provided. Only one face washer for a family room. Old frayed towels. Old bed and pillows not very comfortable.

- DANIEL (1/5): Would recommend you never stay here. Worst experience of our lives - Nothing We didn’t like a single thing about our stay here. Receptionist was rude from the moment we walked through the door. They wouldn’t give us the room we booked, we were downgraded. The receptionist was beyond rude, borderline abusive, very aggressive made us beyond uncomfortable.

After staying at a few Motels this trip we were very disappointed as this Motel. - Nice bed The office receptionist was very abrupt and to tell the truth very rude. There was no greeting or any information offered. Only a eftpos receipts given. We paid a premium price for the room $160.00 that gave us a room that needs updating. Bed was comfortable,clean. Bath towels were tread bear and frayed. Photos attached show lots of things that require maintenance to bring the room up to a suitable standard. We won’t stay again due to the way we were made to feel. Plus a few other issues.

If your a light sleeper dont stay here (in sugarcane cutting time). TV minimal channels. When we woke up the cover on the light was hanging off. Says it has WIFI but it wouldn't come up. On a positive the beds are comfortable, shower is good. I wouldn't choose this place in the future

- Lawler (1/5): These people should not be running a motel as they are rude and aggressive - No breakfast I arrived before 8pm and the place was locked up. I rang the phone number and spoke to the lady and when I explained that they close at 9pm she abruptly hung up the phone. Minutes later she came to the door and opened the door. I gave my name and was told that they had no booking for me and had a number of booking online names on the wall but you were not one of them. One hour later we were still waiting for our room and I asked if we could have our room. I showed them my online booking and gave them all relevant information but they said that unless they can confirm my booking I was not getting a room. Eventually commonsense prevailed and I was given a room in which I paid for online. I was verbally abused by the persons at the hotel and will never stay at this place again. I am considering not using Booking.com if that is the service you provide

- Catherine (4/5): - Motel was easy to find & the sugar train was awesome. No milk or coffee in the room. Utensil bag containing cutlery looked as though it was a crunched old used bag. The shower recess was full of mould & the seats were disgusting & in need of a deep clean.

The TV was broken that we have pictures of everything. The mirror's where dirty there was bug droppings and food crumbs on bench and range hood. Sheets and pillowcases looked dirty and not white. There where cobwebs on the roof. The walls where dirty. I would not even let my dog sleep at that place ever. I will be Reporting this place to the health and safety department.

- Jodiehatz (4/5): Avoid if you want a hot shower - If you like cold showers this is the perfect place to stay, asked several times for them to fix the hot water or chance our room & nothing was done …. Checked out & said still no hot water after 3 nights & owner grunted at me with no response. Other than that this motel was a good stopover with clean rooms, pet friendly rooms aswell, but like I said you’re likely to have a cold shower.

The walls were yellow and dirty and you couldn't see very much of your reflection in the mirror due to the streak marks across it. Not value for money at all I didn't even shower there because of someone else's mucas on the wall and spiders in the shower cubicle, disgusting!

The hosts are friendly, which adds to the great experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable stay!

- Kaylynn (1/5): Never Again - The location is pretty handy to everything The owners lied and said they didn't do Apay, when my nieces checked in before me and paid by Apay. They insisted I pay again. :( The bathroom wasn't cleaned, the floors had muddy scuff marks and someone else's hair on the floor. There was an almost empty toilet roll left on the roller. No milk in the fridge and stale biscuits. The TV was dusty and had cobwebs attached to it, to the fluro light above that is full of dirt n dust. Wish I took pictures to post :/
- Basana (1/5): Never staying here ever again. - Room was dirty. Linen was dirty. Room absolutely had a putrid smell. Fly screens busted. Broken chair outside Only 1 toilet paper roll for 4 people. Was expected to clean kitchen items and wipe and put away, no tea towels WiFi didn't work Couch was unclean We had to have the shower running 5 minutes before the hot water came on. Used towel left behind hanging on the arm of couch. Empty toilet roll laying behind the toilet pipe. I thought I'd be courteous and strip the bed and found 7 pillowcases on each pillow, so these owners just take them off one by one after each check out - yuk. Bedspreads were ancient and disgusting. The only good thing about it was the location. The garden and grounds were beautiful and well kept. Change the way you maintain the cleanliness of your rooms. I sat outside one morning and seen a dog come out with its owner. They checked out and another guest checked in a couple of hours later with their dog. Yuk. You allow animals sleeping in the rooms too. Yuk.

- Cameron (1/5): AVOID LIKE - Location Dead cockroaches, mouldy coach, leaking air con so bad we had to turn off all surrounding appliances and use a blanket from the bed to soak up the water throughout the night. The overall cleanliness off the place was appalling and the check in lady was rude whilst trying to up charge me $50 more than the listed price as she stated that was “internet prices” and “they are wrong”. I debated that booking.com is in fact a reputable website and I would go somewhere else if she did not honour my booking price from a reputable and trusted website. Overall, easily the worst motel/motor inn I have stayed with in my entire life. Avoid like the plague, unless you want to catch it.

- Terri (6/5): - Greeted very rudely and told Expedia was banned. Offered to leave after full refund and she then gave us a room key. Not pleasant. On the plus side, it was clean. Coffee etc. Bed was comfortable. Very loud at night with sugar cane trains all night plus trucks on highway. This is my very first negative review and I am sad to post this. I would not recommend this motel. There are others in the town further from the train tracks and hopefully kinder staff.

- Angela (7/5): Great little place very clean but dated and the coffee was international roast but when you look past that it was clean, - Clean and the staff were so very friendly and welcoming! Felt bad arriving late but the lady was amazing and so helpful. Was not the best spot to turn into when travelling north busy highway - had to pull off the road and wait for a suitable time to cross but that’s not their fault at all.

We asked for WiFi and the information we were given didn't work. The power points in the rom stopped working while we were getting breakfast ready which meant we couldn't finish preparing breakfast. The tooting from the passing trams was a little disturbing.
