• Brian (8/5): Comfortable and enjoyable stay. A place we will return to. - The breakfast was very good and well presented. (I think I over-ordered) Having the car undercover is always a must for me. The staff were friendly, helpful and we were treated like paying guests The walls between the units are not soundproofed and can hear occupants in the adjoining room. The bed was a little hard, but I've found this to be the case in 99% of all motels we stay in.

• Louise (3/5): Not happy - I rang to talk to reception as the room was booked in my name but for my father in-law I explained that the room was for my father in-law and his name and the room was for him and his name which was fine with reception. When he arrived to get the key lucky his son (my partner) was there with him as they were going to make him pay again for the night. They also stated on phone that they would keep the room vacant until he got there as he wanted to pay for an extra night to stay there. But gave it away for someone else..not happy. Won't be getting anyone else to stay there again. Reception wasn't very nice.

• Elza (10/5): Great Stopover Spot - We scored a last-minute booking when my MIL had to stay overnight at the Oakey Hospital. The staff at this little highway motel pay great attention to detail - from cleanliness to nicely-kept gardens. The motel is right beside the Rotary Park and from there you can stroll along Oakey Creek. A great motel for an unexpected stopover. Everything was perfect.

• Beverley (8/5): Overall pretty good and would definitely stay there again - Breakfast was good- would have preferred eggs less hard but as I didn’t specify runny more my fault than the cooks. Bed extremely comfy. Very friendly staff. Room very clean Air con remote didn’t seem to be working- had to turn on at system and then couldn’t adjust- forgot to mention this to staff on check out

The owner was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and genuine hospitality — couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

I wonder about the kitchenette that has the usual easy tea, coffee, microwave facilities, BUT filling the kettle from the hand basin in the ensuite and then using the same hand basin to wash dishes without dish wash liquid or any cleaning equipment seems a bit gross.
• Scott (9/5): Tranquil location - The peaceful location truly set the scene, and hearing the distant cow bells on the sheep from the neighboring property added a uniquely charming and rustic soundtrack to my experience. The owners were wonderfully friendly and approachable, making me feel instantly welcome. My room was both spacious and remarkably quiet, offering a true retreat. And most importantly, the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. This spot is a genuine find. Pillows were a little firm for me, but I always bring my own pillow so I was able to use my pillow instead.

• Peter (6/5): Good location to town centre and lovely park outlook from the rear garden. - Location was an easy walk to town and the back garden has an excellent outlook over a park and creek. 1. Bed/pillows average. 2. Shower doors don’t fully close and water escapes onto the floor during use. 3. Bathroom fogs up and is cold, would benefit with exhaust fan/heat lamps. 4. Kitchenette bench space very confined.

• Steven (10/5): - The first night we stayed, there were staff talking in some room very close to our room until after midnight which kept waking us up. The following week we stayed again and it was very quiet with no disturbance whatsoever. We had a terrific sleep.
• Wendy (8/5): - Park House Motor Inn was easy and convenient for us. It was very clean, the bed and pillows comfortable, house meal cooked on site, was basic but ample. Also in room, Kettle, toaster, fridge, TV, Austar, Air Con. Desk and staff very helpful and welcoming.
• Lunney (10/5): A handy motel for a quick overnight stay. - No breakfast was available, but cup of tea was great with biscuits.
• Angus (9/5): I’ll be back!! - Fantastic staff, food was good, only motel in that price range with decent coffee, very comfortable room, quiet. Reduced water use cistern (government regulations) means may have to flush toilet twice. Minor nuisance.

• Chris (10/5): Great choice in Oakey - Very pleasantly surprised by this motel! Nice spacious room and the kitchenette was great even though I didn't really use it during my one night stay. Everything was clean and tidy and the setting is very nice and peaceful with the overlook onto the creek and some very nice touches with the outdoor furniture settings. It seemed a very quiet area too and therefore I got a pretty good night's sleep here! Nothing - this is a great place to stay and I'd come here again without any hesitation. It's just a pity I don't get to Oakey that often so I could stay here again!!
