- Blyth (9/5): Wonderful - Great location.
Staff helpful & friendly.
Close to a variety of restaurants & beach.
Breakfast lovely & choice of options.
2nd stay at this hotel & renovations & increase of services available have certainly improved this little gem of a hotel.đ. Nothing
- Robyn (1/5): - The bed was lovely No soundproofing between rooms, so noise coming thru all night long. Couldn't lock the door. Had to syep into the bath to have a shower and then had to been down to get under the showerhead - and i'm not overly tall. Breakfast very basic and had to even sit in reception to eat it - Moved out after 3 days of a 2 week booking
- Sandra (9/5): OTHER GUESTS VERY FRIENDLY WHICH ALWAYS ENHANCES ANY STAY - LOCATION NO BUTTER AT BREAKFAST ONLY LARD
- PETER (8/5): -
- Stacey (7/5): - It was close to the beach and the staff were.very good and helpful. The pool looked good and breakfast was nice. The room really needed some maintenance and updating. It could have been cleaner and the bed was very hard.

- Athena (8/5): - Staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Very close to beach and a short walk to garlic lane. Our pool access room had a shower over a bathtub.. however the shower head was so low, We couldn't stand up under it
- Johnny (10/5): -
- Christine (8/5): - Very clean great location friendly staff đ Pool at bit small and two cold for my liking
- Karen (10/5): Amazing stay in a quiet hotel and close to everything - Great facilities and staff, who were happy and more than willing to help out.
Amazing in house massage service was soo good to be able to have massage in comfort of own room was great and so relaxing and Suma was absolutely amazing masseur Bathrooms were abit older but still nice
- Hap (6/5): - Location was good, staff were friendly and attentive. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom needs updating. Needs a left for those who cannot or struggle to use the stairs.
- Mark (9/5): - Everything Nothing
- Muxlow (6/5): Disorganised, run down, and early wakeup by rooster. - Beds were fairly comfortable, staff very friendly Pool isn't very big, not many sun lounges, rarely had towels for the pool, no lift only stairs, breakfast o.k., air con leaked as did the fan in the bathroom (they did fix problem with the fan after a day though), shower head very low on the wall. Rooster in property behind wakes you up at 4am.
- Stacey (10/5): - Close to everything such a convenient location
- Gaelene (9/5): Such a lovely place to stay. Quiet, clean, friendly staff and great location. - Such a lovely place to stay. Quiet, clean, friendly staff and great location. Such a lovely place to stay. Quiet, clean, friendly staff and great location.

- Chris (6/5): I would stay there again. It is in a great location and worth the money for the stay. - Itâs clean and the pool is really nice the staff is very friendly! The food you can order from the menu is very good. The included breakfast is not that good. It is only fruit and cereal, no eggs and paying $9 for breakfast included for what you get is not worth it. It is better to exclude it and buy breakfast off the menu.
- SHARON (8/5): -
- neville (10/5): -
- Olivia (8/5): We will be back because itâs such a good location. - Location was great. Very short walk to the beach. Rooms were clean. Slow bar service. No towels available around the pool
- Sharon (10/5): Wonderful stay in a central location but surprisingly quiet. Loved it - Location, pool, restaurant, staff
- Jonathan (8/5): Great spot in Paradise - The area is great & the staff are so very helpful, the amenities are well maintained (Pool & bar very good) and close to things to see & do.
Totally recommend staying here if you want value for money. The beds.... two singles pushed together makes it a challenge to get comfortable.
- Bron (10/5): Amazing place to stay - Everything.. it was amazing
Better than expected I thought the pool hours were a little limited, for those up early, the pool doesnât open until 9
- Karen (10/5): Very nice stay with everything provided - Location and breakfast
- Matthew (10/5): Always friendly staff, this hotel gets better and better each year. - Always good to stay Changed happy hour.
- Paul (10/5): -
- Kelly (7/5): -
- Samantha (5/5): Disappointing stay as we had booked it for my birthday. Will not be back - A great location, good breakfast They often ran out of pool towels and hand towels. Our room was often not cleaned until very late in the day. The staff were not very helpful if there was an issue and didnât speak very good English. It was only after we complained that things slightly improved.
We were not the only dissatisfied guests staying at this time.
- PETER (8/5): -
- Leang (8/5): -
- Hassan (10/5): - Amazing staff, great location with decent options for breakfast to choose from. Hood value for money. With the property so nicely designed with vegetation around it, i did had a bit of a problem with ants in the room.
- Molly (4/5): - Great location which was close to the beach. Unfortunately, I was severely disappointed with Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel. We struggled to have our room made up daily and had to request it several times (housekeeping was done at 7pm). Our first room had a non functioning shower and after 3 requests for it to be unblocked we had to move rooms. This hotel has NO lift and very significant stairs. Breakfast was severely underwhelming; my booking said âbreakfast includedâ but I was given a paid menu to choose from so we ate elsewhere as it was charging my room.
Room service dishes and fruit platters were left out in the hallway for hours attracting ants and smelling out the front of our room. Slow service at the pool bar, sometimes 1 drink was finished prior to the other drink being made. False advertising a âhappy hourâ from 12-2pm but when I questioned it I was told the sign was âold.â It should have been honoured but they wouldnât budge.
Staff were smoking at the front desk and laughing several nights upon reentering the hotel which was dismissive and a disrespectful look.
Extremely underwhelming and will not return.
- Hannah (9/5): Superb value and location. Very friendly, kind and helpful staff. - Location and very friendly staff
- Beau (10/5): - Everything
- Bevington (7/5): Great location friendly staff clean hotel but no lifts . - The location was perfect and the pool was nice. The hotel was very clean. The shower was terrible. Im tall and it wasnât high enough. The water was cold.
- Chris (7/5): -
- Matthew (9/5): We will be back. Loved the value for money, staff, and the swim up bar. - Fantastic location and beautiful friendly staff from the manager, front desk, restaurant and bar staff. Bathrooms could use an upgrade but they were clean enough.
- Joy (9/5): Excellent location in Legian but also back from the noise. Great staff. - Location, staff,
- Nury (10/5): Place like home - The staffs were wonderful, very approachable & accomodating. The breakfast on the menu was superb, and the buffet breakfast supplemented nicely!
Its location no doubt is nestled in the centre of Legian however the hotel offers you atmosphere, no street or night life noise.
Highly recommended!! Music in swim up bar could be better with soft music instead of, but not bad at all
- Matthew (6/5): Stayed at this hotel 3 times already but wonât stay again - Satisfactory hotel clean and friendly staff Paid extra for late check out which was nearly a full night rate and then was phoned and asked to leave after 4 hours
- Cheryl (8/5): -
- Denise (9/5): Very happy and will go back next year. - Location and staff were so friendly and helpful. Mattress was a bit hard.
- Penny (7/5): It was a great place to stay - It was close to everything Very noisy
- Tayla (7/5): Very goodâ - The food was way better than last time. Pool is great. My aircon didnât work so it was horrible with the heat
- Narelle (10/5): Great hidden hotel, quiet and helpful staff. - Great location and friendly staff.
Nice big rooms.
- Jeanette (7/5): Loved staying here perfect position. - The staff No pool towels and slack on scheduled cleaning.
- michael (10/5): Very nice hotel - Very convenient spot to stay
- Sandra (10/5): Very good location - I had a great room by the pool
- Marianne (8/5): Relaxing - Convenient location close to shops and beach. No shallow part to pool.
- Rosalind (10/5): - Location Not enough sun loungers and noisey DJ around pool when no one was actually in the pool
- sonyae663 (8/5): Good for young people - Conveniently located near Legian Beach. Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfasts from the menu. I didn't like the music that played at 7 a.m. (or sometimes the kids would start screaming and running up and down the stairs, also at 7 a.m.). Also, during our week at the hotel, our bed linens and towels weren't changed even once. Bottled water, however, was brought every day. Since we flew here from a neighboring island and the accommodation cost $80 per person, overall I'm satisfied
- Paul (10/5): - Staff and location
- Vicki (9/5): - Bed was comfortable. Air-conditioning was not working properly, bugs (little flys) in shower.
And Music from pool bar ( and DJ) was very loud not relaxing at all.
We will not be returning.

- Pennygirl75 (6/5): Bali 2026 - Location is fantastic. Close to everything you need and want to do in Legian.
The only problem was it was a bit noisy and you get woken up quite early.
The staff were fantastic and very helpful.
Their English was a bit limited but that is to be expected so communication was a bit hard but a the end of the day, we are on a different county and I need to be more respectful of that as they are beautiful people whom go far and beyond to make your stay the best experience.
- Kerri (8/5): Great location and comfortable bed - I upgraded to the pool room on the ground floor because the steps were quite steep and, if feet wet, the slippery as well. I could walk out of my room and into the pool with the cool water and the swim up bar. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot with OK pressure. Plenty of room to store my bag and a little seating area next to a plug for charging. The breakfast was a good choice of options. Staff were very friendly.
The location was great. Walk along the laneway and you hit one of the main roads down to the beach which was only a 5min walk. Plenty of eating options around and plenty of shopping options around.
Overall I would stay here again. No swimming towels by the time I was ready for the pool so had to use my bathroom towel. That's the only negative I have.
- Mathew (8/5): Worth it - Location is fantastic. Close walk to restaurants, shopping and beach
Small hotel so is a lot more peaceful then large resorts
Swim up bar is great
Price is fantastic for what you get Water pressure and temperature was a bit hit and miss, but nothing that affected me.
If a pool renovation happens they need to install more pool seats in the shallow section of the pool bar
- joydR9183PF (10/5): Most relaxing stay - Have visited Bali eight times and 14 Roses rates as one of the best. Great location close to Legian and walking distance to the beach. Breakfast was amazing, there was nothing to much trouble for the staff but the most outstanding feature was the in room massage. Suma has amazing skills and provides probably the best massage I have ever experienced in Bali.
Rooms are spacious and well fitted out with all amenities. Definitely worth putting on your list for a place to stay on your visit to Bali.
- Michelle (5/5): -
- matgill88 (10/5): Fantastic stay - Just spent 13 days here. Very enjoyable smaller hotel. Good size pool with swim up bar. Dila and the team were amazing nothing was to much trouble. Location is great been just of Melasti St so close walk to everything. Rooms were of a good size and everything you need. Atmosphere was great as it's not a large resort so dont get excessive noise. Can't beat it for value. Will definitely stay here again
- allyh955 (8/5): Quiet, convenient location - Stayed here for 5 nights, small boutique style accommodation, staff were friendly from beginning to end, nothing was too much trouble, pool was a good temperature, although if youâre looking to lay in the sun by the pool it is fairly shaded throughout the day. But still a nice relaxing area. Rooms were nice, clean and tidy, had everything youâd need. Breakfast was good, you choose from a menu, then there is buffet option of fruits, juices and pastries. Hotel is located in a perfect location, just metres from Garlic Lane, lots of restaurants, spas and mini marts around. Would definitely stay here again!
- Miller (7/5): - Nice pool and pool bar, friendly staff Curtains do not block the morning light
- Murray (3/5): Not our cup of tea and too many bogan Aussies - The property was a lower standard of accommodation than we expected and we only stayed one night.
The staff were exceptional and could not be faulted and the property, facilities and room was clean. The air conditioning in the room did not really efficiently cool the room and we had a sleepless first night.
We did tell staff about the AC issues on the first day and their service staff inspected the AC and couldnât find a fault. I think potentially the AC unit was too small for the space and only just took some of the heat out of the room.
They tried, but just not up to our preferred standard so we moved to other accommodation
- Schunck (4/5): Pretty average - Location was fine. Smelly bathroom, no hot water, very basic restaurant, would have like a more chilled music not night club music. Lighting is poor around accommodation stairs. Almost feel early in the morning. Could have seriously hurt myself on flyout day
- debra (9/5): Location location location⌠great place to meat fellow travelers - Fantastic location. Value for money Breakfast could be improved if you get the Buffett deal. We chose to order of main menu
- Rob (7/5): - Great staff and location, great breakfast. Our AC was weak at best, and the room sliding doors had large gaps when shit allowing the local bloodsucking insects in to feast on my delicious blood. However overall I would definitely stay with this hotel group again (I am a returning customer)
- Sue (9/5): We had a terrific stay. Itâs a little hidden treasure in a great location. Will definitely stay there again and recommen - I loved so much about the property. The pool and pool bar were great. The room was clean and very comfortable and the staff were amazing. Not much but the drain did have a bad smell in our bathroom(but the rest of the room made up for it). Also the aircon was a bit noisy and set to 16 but definitely wasnât 16 degrees but was still comfortable
- David (8/5): - Location Water in room was cold
- thomasmR5656AA (10/5): Outs - There is no where else that can match the customer service and location with facilities like this price. Special mention to panji for his outstanding care for me, if you ever come here speak to him and everything will be superb!
- 141jettt (10/5): Great Stay - Panji was an amazing host, would definitely come back here and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area, great prices and great people
- Voyage59592998928 (8/5): A Stay of Two Parts - There is a lot to like about this boutique hotel. The friendly, happy staff, clean, spacious rooms, nice breakfast, great location, tropical garden setting and refreshing pool.
The downside is the loud music banging out of the pool bar from 11am until 10pm. We enjoy music but not at nightclub volume levels. The hotel advertises âtranquil and relaxing atmosphereâ. Itâs neither of these. Forget an afternoon nap or early night.
Also pool towels are not always available for all guests. Using your bath towel for the pool is not ideal.
We complained on several occasions about the noise levels and the music was turned down temporarily and then up it went again. After a week of this, we requested a room change. The Reception staff were terrific and we were moved to a quieter room which was much appreciated. The music was also turned down a little.
Would we stay at this hotel again? Possibly if the noise levels were controlled and more background music rather than head banging. As I said, thereâs a lot to like about this hotel.
- greg (9/5): -
- Philippus (7/5): - Comfortable room, friendly helpful staff Hard to get a towel for pool
- Evie (10/5): -
- lyanneb2026 (10/5): Great hotel - Another awesome stay at Fourteen Roses Beach. Great location Beautiful staff. Clean rooms. Great atmosphere around the pool. Basic breakfast has all you need, order off the menu plus pastries fruit juice ect. Only downside was Suma the gorgeous masseuse didn't have a room for her services. Lost customers because she had nowhere for to work. Can do in own room but she was limited. Hopefully she will have her own room when we return.
- Jan (8/5): - Ontbijt matig tov overige entourage
- Madis (10/5): - Just good vibes Friendly staff
- Natalie (9/5): - Location was great, close to beach, shops, eateries and money changers đ we had poolside room which was amazing đ atmosphere was friendly and staff accommodating. There were no bedside lamps which would have been great instead of full room of lights and more hooks and hanging would have kept things off floor.
- cindy (8/5): great value for money - will be back again - Second stay here. A little hidden jem. Breakfast was great, had some nice cocktails in pool bar. Staff always happy, rooms clean. great location. Will be back again!
- Chantel (10/5): -
- neil (9/5): - Location is good close to beach , garlic lane , pad on bene , shopping , good laundry next door Pool is alot smaller that it looks in photo breakfast could be better
- Ryan (8/5): Awesome vibe, Great Pool, Amazing staff, Great quite location in a busy area. - The rooms are dated as are alot of hotels around this area, but bed was comfortable and air-conditioned was cold. Quite tucked away hotel in a great location. Pool was almost cold unlike most bali pools, very refreshing. Great vibe, swim up bar, always cool music going. Ground floor room definitely recommended. Definitely a Group booking hotel, such a good vibe. Staff are next level great, nothing is to hard. I had no issue at all with it, but yes rooms are on the dated side as are the bathrooms. (just FYI for other travelers) pool music may be a little loud for some travelers, not for us in a group. February traveler, so beach was terrible, but it is the time of year.
- Claire (9/5): Relaxing getaway in stunning location - Location, staff and facilities are fabulous! It rained a lot whilst we stayed and the tiles are so slippery when trying to walk around, especially in and out of your room.
- samantha (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful place - staff so helpful and friendly - ambience perfect - rooms huge, comfy and clean. Ideal location - very central. Pool looked amazing with swim up bar - unfortunately we didn't use as it was incessantly raining our whole visit - we left here & Bali early due to consistent torrential rain đ˘ Breakfast was delicious too - will definitely return and stay here again - highly recommended đ Aware its rainy season - but Bali has had incessant torrential continuous rain - unusually which curtains adventures
- Debbie (6/5): DISAPPOINTED. - Location is fantadtic. Food is average. Housekeeping is very poor. Had to ring twice to get toilet paoer when the holder had nothing on it when they would come to clean. Had no towels one day and had to call 3 times for toiletries to be replenished. Overall very disappointed. Breakfast was very basic. When it would come from kitchen the only thing cooked fresh was the eggs. Bacon cold dried and not edible. Had paid for daily breakfast but ate it twice and that was more than enough to see how poor the quality and flavour was.
- Veronica (4/5): - We had hardly any hot water and there were cockroaches. In a great location. No hot water, too many stairs for me, cockroaches
- Veronica (4/5): -
- Stokes (8/5): - The staff couldnât be more helpful and pleasant.
Wouldnât hesitate to go back
- zhang (9/5): -
- Graham (7/5): Perfect for anyone wanting a older Balinese style hotel close to beach and Legian centre - Great location, great staff, I like the Balinese style hotels instead of western style Did have the occasional loud bogans who thought the hotel was all thereâs and not considering other guests, but that isnât the hotels fault
- Klaus (9/5): - Gutes Hotel, die Lage, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gerne immer wieder. Nach der Zimmer Reinigung Licht und Aircon an, warum?
- Tom (7/5): -
- Fonteyn (9/5): Clean, helpful friendly staff, great location and priced well - Close to the beach and the Main Street of Legian, staff are super friendly, pool is lovely, food is great and excellent value for money Bed was not overly comfortable
- calliequinnm (8/5): Family of 4(2adults and 2kids) first time in Bali and not the last âşď¸ - âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
Stayed February 2026 â 3 Days / 2 Nights
We stayed here in February 2026 for a quick 3-day trip. We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). Our room was on the 3rd floor and thereâs no lift, but the staff kindly helped us with our luggage, which we really appreciated.
We booked easily through Agoda and had no issues at all. We stayed in a deluxe room overlooking the pool bar, which was a nice view. The location is greatâvery convenient and close to almost everything: spa, bars, restaurants, shops, laundry, tattoo shops, and Kuta Beach, plus many more.
The room comes with a buffet breakfast starting at 7:00 am. Unfortunately, during the 3 days we stayed, we had to leave early each morning and couldnât make it to the buffet. However, the staff were very kind and packed us takeaway breakfast boxes with simple food like croissants, boiled eggs, and mineral water. It was simple, but the thought really meant a lot to us.
The room was clean and spacious. The bed was huge and comfortable for me, my husband, and our baby, while our daughter had her own separate bed. We received free mineral water daily and housekeeping made up the room every day.
The only small concern was that the air-conditioning wasnât very cold even when set to 15°C. However, since we were out the whole day and only stayed at night to sleepâand it was raining most nightsâwe didnât bother complaining.
Overall, we had a good experience both with Agoda and the hotel. Friendly staff, great location, and comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.
