The shared microwave in the lounge area beeping at 6am for the early rises and bike shoes clipping the floors as riders get ready to head off on bikes first thing. Zero consideration to other guests.

- Sarah (5/5): Room 11 was far from the standard of the rooms we have previously stayed in at this property, hence was quite disappoint - Velo was selected as the location is ideal and very central The venetian blinds were physically damaged and provided no privacy to the side street or footpath which was only 2 metres away. The sliding door to the toilet/shower was not functional, was stuck 3/4 open and could not be used at all for privacy The bed mattress was very uncomfortable. The TV automatically switched itself on at 12 midnight on both nights of our stay.
- Rob (6/5): Overall, the accommodation was very clean, well presented and in an amazing location to the town - From a location and price point this place was amazing. So close to everything. We parked the car and walked around town the entire weekend. Easy access as well with PIN codes. The room was beautiful so don't take this the wrong way. But the bathrooms almost as big as the living area. We found there was very limit space in the room area. I had to put my bag in the bathroom as my wife used the space in front of the mirror which once a suitcase is there the hanging space becomes unusable. The fridge is just sitting on the floor in the corner of the room next to rubbish bin. Layout could have been better that's all. Wouldnt put me off booking again thou as its location and price were great. One other thing we noticed which didn't affect us really but the door upstairs that goes to verandah wasn't security locked with PIN. Anyone could just walk up the stairs from carpark and just walk into accommodation area. Not into rooms but into corridors thou.

- FRED (8/5): - Fantastic location for the Autumn Festival. New brighter light globes are needed in the bathroom and there is a major lack of lighting in the toilet. The addition of a heater in the bathroom would be great.

Living space was very small and dark for 2 bedroom. The main bedroom and bathroom was also dark and small. No way five people could have happily stayed here. I expected a kitchen but it was only a kitchenette.

A keypad code is needed to get in. Sent by text message. This is problematic if you are from overseas and are not using your home phone number.

We also valued the bike storage facility and keyless entries. The bathroom water pressure and temperatures were good and the towels felt a nice quality. We would've preferred more deep cleaning inside the 2 bedroom space we stayed in as there was quite a bit of dust on the floors, benches, bedside tables didn't feel well cleaned - but were ok for 2 nights.

- Paige (8/5): Great location, easy checkin and ample towels YAY! - Great location, comfy beds, nice modern bathroom, and lot’s of towels - always a winner when you have three girls with long hair. Thanks for having us! Close proximity to Basil’s outdoor seating area - only an issue if you have kids that need to sleep before 11 due to the noise.

- Glenn (10/5): Great spot to stay - Review Absolutely loved our stay at Bright Velo! The host was amazing — they couldn’t have done more for us and even gave us a free upgrade to the VIP suite. The suite was beautifully renovated with modern amenities, luxurious bedding, and high-quality linen — super comfortable and stylish. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bright, and within walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. Highly recommend! Location

- Victoria (7/5): - Location was great. Very central to everything in town. Great air conditioning in the rooms. Our room faced onto the hotel restaurants outdoor bar/seating area. This wasn’t advertised in the room booking. The noise was very loud in our room. On the Saturday night until about 11:30pm. If you have younger kids this would not be a good place to stay. Also everything was really clean, however in the main bedroom we did notice a mushroom growing out of the wall….
