Guest Reviews
- 408malw (4/5): Not good value for monry - No lift 30+ stairs no fridge or tea/coffe making facilities in room. Very noisy Saturday nite . Won t be back . Free breakfast if u don t leave early
- Steven (8/5): - Na
- Phil (10/5): Nice place - Good breakfast
- U7254EFmonicaw (6/5): Good basic no frills country pub accommodation - If you expect 5 star resort you’ll be disappointed but if you’re expecting a country pub with friendly service and the basics that’s what you’ll get. The room is pretty small and tired but it was clean with an ensuite and comfortable bed; what you want after a long day driving.
- Rhonda (10/5): - Easy check-in, located in the heart of Griffith. Beautifully restored 100 years old. Very accommodating staff. Everything you need, bistro and bar on the premises. Communal tea/coffee facilities and fridge if needed, even biscuits. Breakfast included, cereal, juice, tea/coffee, toast with condiments and cooked breakfast, several choices, the eggs and bacon is 2 poached eggs and a HUGE serve of bacon. Beds comfortable enough in a small very clean room with TV and bathroom. Would have liked another pillow but sure it would have been supplied if requested. A real deal and super value for the money. Highly recommend,
- Karin (10/5): - Great centrally located hotel, super clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Love the heritage features.
- Julian (10/5): - Excellent price, convenient location, good breakfast.
Handy having a bar and Bistro on site, plus lounge area with fridges, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities.
Would have been perfect if there was a lift rather than having to climb up stairs with luggage.

- peter (8/5): - Nice shared tea room no lift. Comfy bed and in main st
- Ken (8/5): - Played loud music until 12:20am unable to sleep. Other loud generators below my bedroom. Would not have booked this hotel had I known it would be so noisy.

Staff are great as is the complimentary breakfast.

- Kerry (10/5): Vic hotel - Great old pub with good meals

Breakfast
There is also a communal lounge area with coffee & tea facilities for guests with an outdoor balcony accessible,
which I really like.
- Alex (10/5): - Was a good stay, the staff was very polite and helpful. Will be staying there again.
- Steve (8/5): - Lovely country pub, very comfortable
- Peta (10/5): - Property supplied tea and coffee free in upstairs lounge. Breakfast was free
- Todd (8/5): - Good food and friendly staff
- Richard (8/5): - staff were welcoming, place was neat tidy and well put together, all in all good result, room itself was somewhat claustrophobic though and not a place you would necessarily enjoy hanging out in, but was clean, neat and safe.
- Surinder (2/5): - Ddddddd
- Phillip (8/5): - safe & sound
- Ian (8/5): - The hotel is in a good location, the bistro is OK, not great,, the staff was good and the included continental breakfast was a feature. Cooked breakfast was also included in the tariff.
The downsides were that there was no lift, and all rooms are on the first floor. The wifi was a problem, with 4 hr vouchers needed.
- Christine (10/5): - Very nice hotel, lovely staff, very comfy room. Not the Ritz but great value for money.
- philip (8/5): not for me - well l guess you gt what you pay for with a pub room first and last time l stay in a pub the only good things were the meals were above average and the cooed breakfast was very good and more than we could eat a big thank you to the chef/cook
- Paul (10/5): - Superb breakfast, just like country pubs of old
- james (2/5): - Extremely overpriced pub stay room is disgusting kitchenette is garbage
- Linda (8/5): - The hotel was old but quite nice. Staff very nice. Would have liked them to give the hand basin in ensuite a clean while we were. Meals were lovely. Very central to everything.
- John (8/5): - Friendly staff
Allowed me to stay on for several hours until my plane was due
- Phillip (10/5): - Friendly and excellent breakfast service in the bistro.
- Iain (8/5): - No problems apart from stairs.
- mintie9 (2/5): Poor value for money. - On 04/09/2024, there was no available accommodation in Griffith, apart from the Victoria Hotel.
We were charged $147 to stay, for a dirty room with two single beds, with no space to even place hand luggage, a TV that was placed way too high, approx 3m above the floor, the distance between the foot of the bed and the opposite wall was about 800mm.
In the morning I turned on the shower, to find no running water (hot or cold) for 2 minutes. Finally when the water started to flow, it was impossible to regulate it to an acceptable temperature. Therefore, we left without having a shower.
Personally, I would not recommend this hotel.
- Nin2704 (8/5): Lovely old pub with friendly staff - Lovely old hotel with clean comfortable room. Parking is in the street with 2 hour limit during the day. Also no lift so have to carry you bag upstairs. There’s a communal kitchen/lounge area and verandah. Price includes big country breakfast and the staff are very accommodating and friendly.
- MR RAYMOND (8/5): - Airconditioning heater did not work so froze every night!!!
Change the brand please!!!
Had exactly same problem with that brand aircon at other accomodations
- Justine (8/5): - Lovely
- Frank (10/5): - Staff were very helpful and cheery, great location , very clean.
- Pinal (8/5): - Overall Good
- David (8/5): - //
- Jefferson (8/5): - The property is nice and the breakfast waitress was very kind.
My only complain is about the $ sing on the booking website, on my point of view you guys could write there USD $ cuz I did book thinking that the value that was showing there was AUD$.
- Colin (10/5): - The hotel was a nice friendly place to stay. The breakfast was delicious.
- Anthony (8/5): - A quality country pub. Pretty basic room, but great location, freshly cooked breakfast and handy common area with a shared full size fridge that was goodWe had a nice stay for 1 night
- Peter (10/5): - I find this hotel to be the best I’ve stayed nice people and very personal to stay
- Vipulkumar (10/5): - Nice stay
- Q4479RNdeanc (10/5): Excellent - Clean / Staff and Patrons are excellent. Food the best East of Perth. 6th visit... All of Griffith CBD is within walking disatance and Cabs arrive promptly if you need to go elsewhere.
Have met many travellers from all over the world. Well worth a visit. Did
I
mention the food....Guarantee you cannot eat a full plate. Dean.
- Janis (10/5): - The people go about their job in an efficient way. It is older style, the rooms are fairly small with only basics but it represents excellent value for money. And the breakfast is excellent, albeit few alternatives.
- Kerry (10/5): Old Pub Stay - Great old Pub stay
- Peter (6/5): - Handy, order dinner bought out wrong meal, wifi limited had to get new password every hr
- Annabelle (10/5): - Great little spot! Very clean.
- Jurmedgalsan (6/5): - Bed was very old and uncomfortable
- Matthew (8/5): - Good location on main street, great dining option
- David (10/5): - Great value - nice old well maintained pub in Main Street of Griffith. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
- Lyn (8/5): - Convenient
- shiraleo (10/5): Hotel Victoria Griffith a great place to stay - One of the best country hotels we've stayed at. 4 times. In central CBD Griffith and easily accessible to local wineries. All rooms with ensuites. Larger for couples: Rooms 7,9,12 and 14. Great food and drink and a fantastic full country breakfast included. Excellent staff also. Highly recommended. David and Penny.
- Cristine (8/5): Lovely hotel in the heart of town - Lovely Hotel of the 1920's era and very well maintained.
Situated in the heart of the town. Good bistro.
Room was adequate with ensuite. Tea and coffee facilities were in a large common room which opened out to a balcony available for guests.
- Zane (6/5): The price tells it all! - The price tells it all however it was a fair deal considering that it was your local hotel and a very decent breakfast was provided.
The blinds didn’t quite cover the windows and therefore bright light shone all night through the window.
Service was great but it’s a little older so all round it was ok!
- Sandeep (2/5): - The smell was terrible and rooms were so tiny which was not in the description. The bathroom is bigger than the bedroom!!!
- Andrew (10/5): - I had a great one night stay here on 31/12/23. I received a great rate through lastminute.
Very easy check-in and check-out process. I enjoyed the included complimentary breakfast, whilst simple but delicious. Some caveats: no personal fridge in the room, only a shared common area outside the rooms for tea, coffee, etc. I also found it a bit odd that the AC settings aren't to be changed at all. Also that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom for showers, with a note stating that showering with the door open can cause the fire alarm to go off. All in all, I did have a great stay and the staff were very accommodating. It was cozy, quaint, basic - all you need for a place to sleep.
- Peter (8/5): - Good option to stay. Noisy roof fans until closing time
- Terry (10/5): - Excellent for a short term stay of 2 days
- Jayne (8/5): - The breakfast was great! The room was clean but internet was sketchy. I would stay here again.
- Sandy (6/5): - Lady behind the bar was rude check in at a bar !!
- Kerry (8/5): Vic hotel Griffith - Great old pub
- David (10/5): Clean, pleasant Great Pub & food. - Awesome pub, was able to park at rear, not many spots but a good option.
Breakfast was incredible and available between 7am-08:50am.
Rooms and beds we’re comfortable not too loud for a Main Street and pub.
- Janet (10/5): - The Hotel is within walking distance to Griffith Theatre
- Lee (8/5): - very convenient
- Hayden (10/5): - Great service. Great food.
- Lesley (8/5): - loved this place, aged, quaint decor everything was good including showers. only downfall large number of stairs if not conferable with stairs
- Mutt43 (10/5): Shopping Break - Great location, Value for money, close to all the shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, check in and check out fast. The room had everything we needed, clean, good shower pressure. Dinner and Breakfast great, we would stay again. However I wouldn't recommend for someone with limited mobility as there are stairs to the 1st floor and no lift.
- Kerry (10/5): - Friendly staff, Great location. The room was clean, good shower pressure, had everything we needed. Dinner & Breakfat Great, I would stay again
- Stan (10/5): - The character of the hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. And having a freshly cooked, generous breakfast was an added bonus.
My stay at the Victoria has opened my mind to the possibility of hotel accommodation.
- John (8/5): - Centrally located hotel within easy walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants.
Staff are great and the complimentary breakfast is terrific.
- Susan (10/5): - Convenient location for dining and walking tours
- Jennifer (10/5): - The food was great , the breakfast was superb and it was included with the accommodation. The room was a bit dated but was clean and there was a lounge room where you could make your own tea and coffee and there were plentiful supply of biscuits . Very homely and the staff were great.
- Philip (8/5): - Very happy stay
- Karen (10/5): - Breakfast is included in the tariff 😊
- Bojan (6/5): - overall not bad for the money
- Seyyed Hassan (6/5): - I liked the free breakfast. T bone steak of dinner was great. Staff were very friendly and nice. Cleanses was ok but the hotel need a renovation to get 5 out 5.
In general was ok and I come back again.
- Olivia (8/5): - It is a pub on the main street so expect music and people on a saturday night. Bistro food was amazing. Included breakfast also fantastic
- easymover1 (10/5): Good Value Stay - A 2 night last minute stay at Hotel Victoria, easy quick check in, friendly, helpful staff, clean big room, nice big shower, nice touch of coffee/tea/biscuits in the area near rooms. Excellent complimentary breakfast with 4 choices...well cooked . Overall very happy , would stay there again ,Good Value
- Sally (6/5): - Needs some attention to Bathroom cleaning.
New towels would be a good idea as they were old and frayed.
A basic room but in accordance with charge.
- Darren (10/5): - Great value for money
- Penny (8/5): - We could hear the band and the drinkers in the bar, otherwise all great
