Breakfast was very average, didn't take the opportunity for dinner. A little refurbishment would go a long way. The photos on the website needs to be updated. The place has potential. We booked for 2 nights because of what we saw on line, a little deceiving. No hair dryer, no ceiling fans, the towels were like sand paper and the cupboards had unpleasant smell. The 80s look (bathroom) and could do with new mattress and pillows, everything was outdated

- Jim Thornley (4/5): Stay somewhere else - Tariff Motel was grubby and in need of a good clean. The toilet bowl was obviously not cleaned after the last guests. The location was a little out of town in an isolated area making a car trip necessary to obtain a meal. After seeing the state of cleaning in the room I wasn't game to try the on site restaurant. There wasn't a comfortable chair or couch to sit in only an uncomfortable table and chair set. I feel all motel rooms should provide a comfortable couch chair or two.

- Wanetta (1/5): told there was a no refund policy - I was unsatisfied, the room was very dirty and when I asked the staff to please clean it, it was left the same way with the same bed sheets that had a burn mark. Dirty air-conditioning full of dust, spills and stains everywhere from the previous visitor. The kettle was full of black mold, I asked for a replacement and it was returned half wiped out with black mold still visible. The room was dirty and dusty. I will never return here.

That cost more Had to pay $65 exstra for a room that wasnt clean rubish under the bed tear in base no shampoo in bathroom aircon not working was told by reseption just leave it on full blast will eventually get cold well it didnt only half the lights worked and only 1 plate in the room after driving 7 hours had to drive another half an hour just to get food as resturant was closed. - Ella (1/5): Don’t stay here unless you want to be verbally abused. - Nothing We provided five days’ notice that we could not attend our booking due to state-recognised national flooding, which made travel unsafe and impossible. Our initial cancellation request allowed 24 hours for a response, yet the motel failed to respond at all. We then escalated the matter through Booking.com, who contacted the property three days later and formally gave them a further 48 hours to respond. Again, there was no response. It was not until six days after our original request—and only after further follow-up—that the property finally made contact. When they did, instead of professionalism or basic courtesy, we were met with yelling, swearing, and aggressive behaviour. We were told flooding “isn’t a natural disaster,” that our inability to travel was “not their problem,” and that we should have “just figured it out,” despite official emergency conditions. The conversation escalated to threatening and intimidating behaviour. Access to the property was not possible, as the only road we could take to reach the motel was officially closed due to flooding and is still closed 3 days after our booking concluded. After this, they offered an alternative date to stay, but it was delivered with deeply uncomfortable and intimidating undertones, leaving us feeling unsafe and unwilling to have any further interaction. This was not a simple policy disagreement — it was a complete failure to communicate, followed by hostile, abusive, and inappropriate conduct during a declared emergency. If this is how management treats guests when circumstances are beyond their control, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. All communication with the motel was recorded, and they were aware of this throughout the interaction, yet still conducted themselves in this manner, book anywhere else.

- Yoshiko (6/5): - The coffee machine in the room had thick dust on top and no complimentary coffee pods. The curtains had few holes.(old) The corners of the bathroom floors was not cleaned properly. (Thick dust and some breadcrumbs.)

- Guest (4/5): Not impressed. - There was 2 beds. 1 blanket. The bed runners were filthy. The air con didn’t run properly. We felt so itchy when in the beds. The property is so run down. It used to be lovely.

- Courtney (7/5): - Small motel. Big car parks. Comfortable beds although they are old. Rooms were NOT cleaned properly. Mould in the showers. Dirty floors and carpets. Not enough glasses or cups. No pods for coffee machines. Pool was dirty. Restaurant was non operating.

- Guest (5/5): Ok. If you just wanted somewhere to sleep and nothing else it was fine, not good if you want help - No one at reception most of the time. Very small fridge that had no shelf and freezer was nearly frozen over. No good.
- Ellen (7/5): Comfortable stay with family - Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious and cool. While travelling with a baby we appreciated having a laundry available on site. Kitchenette was small and washing up facilities weren't great for eating in.
