Guest Reviews
- Anthony (8/5): - Had a very nice farm stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the animals. Hosts were friendly. Location is quiet and safe. The cabin we stayed in was in need of a little love, lightbulbs not working and water pump starting randomly. Would rate it 5 stars if a little maintenance was done.
- Sarah (10/5): - We had a great time! A perfect place for families
- Cascie (6/5): - The owners were nice but the place needs a reno.
Tv didn’t work, wi do wouldn’t connect, fridge didn’t work and all food went bad , the light in the bathroom would turn off…
It look like it’s been styled from the salvos and was just not nice.
I don’t usually write reviews like this but I think there needs to be some honest feedback .
I will say that the owner covered the cost of the food which was great.
The location was great, not too far from town and the beds and sheets were lovely.
- Brendan (10/5): - Quiet with a lovely country aspect. Kids loved helping to feed the array of animals daily
- Glen (10/5): Happy Times - Sooo relaxing, great view of the farm. Gavina and Les are great hosts. The accomodation is very spacious and has everything you would need.
We are already planning a large group to stay next year.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The cottage was ideally positioned in a rural setting and was spacious and comfortable for two adults. A few maintenance issues became apparent which the hosts readily fixed when brought to their attention. The beauty and peacefulness of the farm stay was wonderful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The kids loved all the animals! Very relaxing. Great value & friendly hosts.
- Jem (10/5): - We had a lovely stay to break up our trip home. The children loved feeding the animals in the morning. Our cottage had a high chair and a port a cot which was a bonus as we have little ones. The tub in the bathroom was a great treat. Lovely setting and great service. Thank you.
- JohnMowat (10/5): - A lovely little cottage.
A bit far out distance wise but would be perfect for families
- Victoria (10/5): Awesome fame stay for a family or more - Grwat farm stay. Mrs Lee was very friendly and the kids loved the small animals, dogs, chickens, peacocks, llamas, poneys, goats etc and could feed them all.
A rustic feel exactly what you want. Would be great for 3 or 4 families to get always together. 15min drive to kingaroy town centre and a nice pub (coralee hotel), woolies etc
Peaceful, serene, clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cute little cottage that was everything I needed.
- Pixietravel (8/5): Farm stay fun! - We visited Lee Farm in the September school holidays with our 2 children, 8 and 5. We ended up in the Queenslander which was a bonus, despite booking a cottage. Plenty of room with great views of the countryside. The girls loved their time feeding all the animals twice a day, bringing back eggs for brekkie, cycling around the farm (bear in mind dirt tracks only!), playing in the haystacks and horse riding (extra cost and needs to be booked with Gavina) We visited the Bunya mountains, Lavendar farm, Kingaroy observatory, various vineyards, and the BP dam so plenty to do for everyone. 3-4 nights is probably about right. You need to provide all your own food/kitchen stuff (Kingaroy has IGA and Woolies)- I'm not sure if the cottages have a BBQ or oven so maybe check before you come! The kids will get dirty!! And love it. Old trainers/boots are handy. The farm is very rural, can be incredibly hot!! and has basic facilities. We would definitely recommend a visit but be warned- you may return home with a guinea pig, puppy or requests for more riding lessons!!
- Clarissa (10/5): Great spot for kids! - Lovely part of the world for a peaceful getaway. The kids loved feeding the farm animals, jumping on the trampoline and exploring the haystacks and the dam. We'll be back!
- Neil (10/5): Outstanding! - We experienced a wonderful stay, the cabins were beautifully presented, had plenty of room and had everything you needed. The staff were very friendly, we enjoyed the animal feeding in the afternoon (missed the morning feeds, zzzzz). Such a quiet and beautiful location. We will definitely be back.
- jacinta (10/5): - Great experience kids loved it! Would definitely stay again
- Cherie (10/5): My favourite Place to stay - A fabulous place to unwind. Bed and pillows, amazingly comfortable. Put the fireplace on and rug up with a book, or feed the farm animals.
- Elana (10/5): Beautiful Setting and Surrounds - I took two thirteen year old boys and two nine year old girls and they absolutely loved it. You are never too old. It was lovely getting back to basics and good old fashioned playing. Loved the animal feeding and boys loved the fishing.Camp fires were great too.
- Wayne (6/5): Quiet hotel in the country - We arrived to meet the landlady who was very pleasant. She showed us where our cabin was and then later she followed up with a large jug of milk which was very welcome.
The facilities were spotless.
It was very well set out and equipped.
There are a lot of activities for small children and they were in close proximity to the cabin.
- Crystal (8/5): Peaceful - Great to be able to bring your dogs with you as they had a ball running around..
- Shay (10/5): Great place to relax and enjoy a farm life. - We had a great time feeding the animals. We relaxed in the afternoon over looking the farm as the sun came down.
