- Renae (6/5): - I was woken up early by noise from other rooms, which was quite frustrating. However, the bed was comfortable, and the room itself was nice. Housekeeping unexpectedly walked into my room at 9 a.m., which was a bit unsettling. The staff seemed unorganized, but they were very friendly. Unfortunately, someone had placed a glass bottle under my car's wheel, and I ended up running over it upon leaving. Luckily, I didn't get a flat tire.Also smashed bottles all over the road.

- Troy (2/5): - Lightning in hallways and outside was inadequate. Doors were noisy and squeaky. Hot water was not hot. Toilet was freezing and bedroom became stuffy with heat pump. Needed to go to ac cycle during night to breathe. Couldn’t walk around bed without shoulder hitting tv on the wall. Both bedside lights turned off after very minimal use. Outrageous price for gravy with our meals, should have been included in the price . The schnitzel was over cooked. The veggies were under cooked and only had corn as small vegetable.

- Peter (10/5): - I stayed for a week during a family visit. The room was comfortable and warm. Plush mattress made for a good night's sleep. Complimentary breakfast box of cereal and juice was much appreciated. I had dinners in the sports bar area, which was busy every night of the week. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The porterhouse steak, medium rare, was spectacular! The Chef got it right every time. Well done, will stay again

- Craig (8/5): - Property was clean and and comfortable. Cleaning staff friendly and did a great job. The staff are fine, but not overly friendly. The pub was quite, but very busy at meal times. We had a couple of issues with food and did mention the issues at the time but we were pretty much ignored. This was the disappointing part of our stay, especially when we are there for lunch and dinner over 7 nights. Most food was good though. I felt they could of handled it better and more professionally. Apart from that issue we enjoyed our time. We were stuck in Tasmania longer than expected due to Cyclone Alfred and not being able to fly home and they accommodated our longer stay.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Claremont hotel motel - In overall a clean , tidy and newish hotel room. Friendly staff and helpfull. The Only disappointment was no microwave present.

- Shawn (10/5): - For the price the room was adequate we had booked the larger room with e beds but they made a mistake for the first night and had to stay in the single queen room 1 night pretty small. They did comp us that night which was nice of them and then stayed in bigger room which was nice and spacious and happy we got it....we did rebook this hotel for the end of our trip as well. No cooking facilities in the room has a small fridge and they provided a breakfast box with milk cereal and juice for the morning which was a nice perk. We did find a free barbeque at a nearby park (1 minute drive) and cooked up some burgers . It seems these barbeques are quite common around Tasmania.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Best kept secret in the northern suburbs - When running a damn brothel At least have the decency to warn other guests or to have them keep there noise down perhaps 2 weekend I’ve stayed at this hotel with the same nonsense Won’t stay again Refund would be appreciated surely the lovely paying customers coming from down the hall give you a cut that would help with my refund. SHOCKING

Some staff were good and tried to make it nice but some are the most unprofessional I’ve seen in my whole 49 years and never been treated so badly by 2 of the hotel cleaners, one who couldn’t help but share private, confidential and sensitive details about the hotels discrepancies! It’s mind blowing what I was told by one of them. Too many issues to mention here. Scapegoated, accused and mistreated. Used to not mind staying for the cheap as price however they need to employ different cleaners in my opinion especially as a job coach and employment consultant. It was and is alarming. All my 10/10 reviews under Nikki as solo traveller should be 1 star as it is not what it seems at all. You’ll see why it’s so cheap when you stay. You’ve been warned!

I always stay here by choice as the prices are amazing, (especially if you’re using an app and if you’re a member!), the staff are always top of their game across all areas of hospitality and tourism (kitchen/ dining/ restaurant, gaming, bistro, bar, accommodation and bottle shop). It’s quiet, safe, the rooms are always clean as (thanks ladies Kat, Cheryle and Cathy) and check in is always so smooth. I’m thankful for the early check ins too and do not take that for granted. The cleaners go out of their way to have your room ready for you. Highly recommend 🙏

There is free parking, dining options, a bottle shop (if you drink), public bars, dine in bistro, gaming area and a very friendly atmosphere for kids too. The staff are always so so extra nice, welcoming, friendly and kind and the food is top notch. The best part is the newly renovated rooms are so clean.

The cleaners Kat, Cheryle and Cathy are amazing along with the ladies and guys who run the bars, bistro, gaming, kitchen, bottle shop and accommodation. I’m very thankful for them letting me check in earlier than 2pm sometimes as I stay here so much and sometimes my schedule is a little bit early, it’s always my first choice for accommodation

- Kara (6/5): Very noisy. Not peaceful - Was very clean and tidy. However very noisy. Can hear everyone stomping down the hallway and banging doors. Rubbish truck every morning really early just outside my room. Room smelt like cigarettes on the last 2 nights so someone smoking right outside the room?? The hallway was really bad with the cigarette smell. Also laundry was right next to my room had a sign not to use during certain times however one night someone had something in their past midnight that had some sort of bukle on it so not only the noise of the machine but the noise of it clanging on the sides as it spun. Then the next night someone came in at 2 or 3 in the morning stomping in the hallway calling out and starting a few loads of laundry i ended up just packing up and leaving really early that morning as i clearly wasnt gonna get any more sleep. So only good thing about it was it was clean...
