The accommodaton was ordinary in that there were stains all over the sofa and some on the carpeted floor as well, and, it is old and it shows its age. All the 3* facilities were there, fridge, large TV, tea/coffee facilities, ensuite. It just looks its age. see above

The quilts were slightly stained and the curtains were not black out so the light that stays on outside creeped in.

KIMBERLEY (8/5): Beautiful rooms! Rude unfriendly staff. - The hotel room was amazing. So clean. It had everything we needed for a night away from home. Comfy bed. Lovely shower. Amenities were 100% catered for. The staff. From the moment we walked in. Slow service. Old menus in rooms. We spent four hours driving. So all we wanted was food. Staff explained after we’d been given the new menu, that alas, no pizza. After ordering at our table because the QR code was more friendly. Staff spent more time talking to themselves rather than clearing tables. No one smiled. Completely ignored us whilst waiting for keno, then put wrong numbers in. Just super disappointed. The staff should be a foundation and they are letting you down.

Joy (8/5): Clean comfortable good staff modern hotel close to shops cafes hospital etc - The staff were excellent - my husband had to stay an extra night in hospital and the cleaning staff went out of their way early morning to find a staff member who arranged extra accommodation even though hotel was fully booked - great relief- room was clean comfortable and well stocked etc - recommend- even though room close to hotel noise wasn’t an issue An answering machine that actually works would be good

Didn't know I was staying at a pub.tThe only thing was I couldn't contact the motel initially and no response was made until 2 days later after several phone calls and emails By the time someone responded by email I had sorted the issue out myself. That made me leary of my upcoming g stay but it turned out ok Didn't replace the cornflakes but left weetbix . Ugh!

Harland (10/5): Beyond expectations - excellent value!! - We loved our stay! Straight away, we were guided to our apartment by a really friendly and welcoming staff member. I was so pleased with the size of the apartment and its large range of facilities. Very generous complimentary tea, coffee, milk, water and little breakfast packs. It even had a lovely little courtyard. Very comfortable for 6 guests - 4 adults and 2 children. We didn't have time to stay for a play in the playground but it looked excellent! We only stayed one night but it would be perfect for a more extended stay. The only thing I could fault was we couldn't let our 6yo and 3yo children sleep in the room with the single beds as it contained an external door which could not be locked from the inside. We were worried they could wake up through the night and walk straight out into the car park. Thankfully 2 adult guests were happy to take this room and our children could share one of the queen beds.

We parked the car at a nearby train station and could take a 50c / 20 minutes train ride to the CBD which was convenient. Poor sunlight filtering in the morning, squeaky single bed, not the hotel's fault but the crows were loud in the morning
