• Campbell (5/5): Got by for the week but would not choose to stay again. - Location and room sizes were good Was unclear when booking which apartment you would get- ie if upstairs or downstairs. Had to pay non refundable before finding out. Needs updating - tired and dated. No wi-fi. Taps leaking. No hooks or towel racks to hang anything. Kitchen supplies very basic- one single garbage bag for a week. No cling wrap.
• Jane (9/5): Memorable Moments in Merimbula - The apartment has a well equipped kitchen so we had breakfast in except for the last morning. Lovely very spacious ground floor apartment with lovely views over the lake, the bed was comfortable. There is a swimming pool which is located in front of the main bedroom but no-one used it while we were there that we saw. Walking distance to town centre which has good cafes & shops. Across the road from the lake if you would like to paddle or SUP board. Apartment has a laundry- always a bonus for travellers. You would need to drive to surf beaches which are on each side of the bridge - good beaches just be mindful of currents on the South coast. A nice scenic drive to Eden which has a lot to do - swimming, diving, boating, hiking & general sightseeing. The Whale museum is there. Pretty much all good. The undercover parking is a bit tight but we have a Prado & the people in the spot next to us had a car about the same size & we both managed ok. Property is on a corner bend & it can appear you are looked in on (goldfish bowl) but you aren't. We went outside to check, the garden shrubs are enough of a break & the blinds so all good. On the first night there was a lot of noise from a group of young people who were walking outside & stopped in front of the property to speak loudly etc but the second & third nights were fine. It's just something that can happen in tourist towns at times.

Would stay again. - spacious apartment, great balcony with a beautiful view of water, easy walk to main street (shops) The car parks are tiny, we were fortunate that the car next to us parked out on the street, you would not have been able to open the car doors if they had parked next to us, we have a sedan, a 4wheel drive would struggle to fit. Not much else, just needs a little tidy up, small things - kettle needed replacing and fan needed replacing. Decor update would be great, it was very pink - which is ok on walls (light soft pink), but bedspread was very old fashion and hot pink and carpet was red/salmon... a little clean up and natural colors would lift the place so much.
• Janet (8/5): We had a great time our second visit. Would definitely stay here again - Proximity to everything. Pool on site. Quiet likeminded other occupants a good place to holiday TV problematic for couple of days. Not easy to get attention of owner to rectify. Mattress needs attention

• Doug-Di (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodation and it's location. So convenient! The pool, the unit fittings, the views were exactly as we had imagined and hoped for. Overall it was certainly good value.
• Stuart (8/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable stay, close to cafes and clubs. - Location was wonderful, undercover parking great as huge storm came through, comfortable beds and lounges, great view. Quiet from other guests, nice pool. Tiny ensuite, no wifi, small fridge, glad it wasn’t hot as air conditioning would not get to bedrooms and no ceiling fans in them.

• Fiona (7/5): A lovely spot - Great location, walking distance to the shops and beach. The view is great. The accommodation is clean and tidy with comfy beds. There’s an ensuite off the main bedroom and a second bathroom with a bath. We watched the Merimbula New Year’s Eve fireworks display from the front yard. Just a couple of minor gripes… There was only one bin bag for the kitchen and not enough toilet paper to last the week for two people. We had brought our own soap & shampoo which turned out to be handy because there were only a couple of tiny cakes of soap for each of us. There were no rubbish bins in the bathrooms. It would be great to leave a couple of keys (rather than just one) so that visitors who are heading out separately don’t have to worry about getting in when no one else is around.
• GRAHAM (10/5): 8 NIGHTS - Its a credit to all involved with this property.. So relaxing but unfortunately it was only 8 nights.. Hope we are back in the near future.. Thanks so much.

• Amelia (7/5): Overall, a lovely clean and comfortable apartment with a great view, with very nice owners - A lovely clean apartment with a Great view and Great location only a 5 minute walk to town The bed was firm, and the vertical blinds were too short to block out the sunlight streaming through in the morning, which prevented being able to have a sleep in.. Outside pool isn't heated.

• Janine (8/5): Great location and very comfortable accommodation. - The location was fantastic. It was a 10 minute walk to the shops and dining venues. The view was spectacular. Very comfortable accommodation. We had freedom to come and go when we wanted to. Undercover parking was good. The ducted vacuum system was noisy and caused our neighbours to come out and see what the noise was on the morning we were leaving. A bigger frypan for the top of the stove would have allowed more self catering food options.

• Christopher (8/5): Front row seats for the views! - This time we thought we would try somewhere different. The unit was spacious and had the best views over the lake. The owners were friendly and helpful with our stay. We were challenged without wifi as our phones were providing flaky service. (Wifi is not free and charged for but you don't know what you will get?) We did not check this on booking as we have come to expect free wifi as part of the deal? .. The location is on a busy corner, while this did not worry us, something to be aware of. Overall, a very spacious and comfortable unit. YMMV

• Wayne (6/5): - The view is to die for, absolutely great location, walk to town etc. No wi-fi, no fry pan - for the stove top just an electric fry pan, no sharp knives. Not enough coffee for our stay and really International Roast - for what you pay, surely at least Nescafe. The main bedroom window facing East needs block out curtains as the sun beams through those ventians very easily, not easy to sleep in! Decor old but in reasonable condition for it's age.

• Anne (8/5): Spacious Apartment in Merimbula. - We arrived late at night, but no problem. All was waiting for us. The room was clean and tidy, and bed was comfortable. Views to lake excellent with off street parking. No Wi Fi (unless you wish to pay a fee for it) and the bedroom was a little cold and had no heater in it. Small irritations on what was overall an excellent stay.

• Stephen (10/5): Beach Street Apartments, Marimbula review - Beach Street Apartments was perfectly placed close to the village for access to shops etc. and particularly the Marimbula Jazz Festival performance locations. The view over the lake was special and the apartment was filled with sunlight and very peaceful and clean and cosy. It would have been good to have Foxtel available for important sporting events happening over the weekend. However, I understand the cost of providing such services nowadays. We will certainly return next year for the same event !!!

• Nate (8/5): Facing the beach, best spot in Merimbula. - Stayed there on a business trip. Really good spot in Merimbula! Everything is within walking distance. There are lorrikeets coming to the balcony in the morning. I also saw a dolphin swimming in the water! What an amazing experience. The room is quite big and spacious. The car park is a bit squeezy for 4WDs. the cups and glasses were not cleaned thoroughly. So I had to put them in the dishwasher to get washed. The balconies are next to each other. So if privacy is high on your demand list, you probably need to reconsider. But all in all, it is a great place for a short stay.
