Guest Reviews
- Julie (10/5): - Location was perfect with a view of the lake & easy access to walking path There wasn't anything we didn't like
- Fiona (9/5): Lovely spot with great views - Location Gas log fire didn’t work
- Anne (9/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Our stay was nice and the serenity was fantastic. - Nice and close to the lake for a walk. The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the security light which came on and off all night, which shined through the window.
- Rosa (9/5): A beautifully appointed and well furnished studio apartment with all the delights of Daylesford only a stones throw awa - Lovely, well appointed studio with all that you need. Facilities are in great condition and all decor is fresh and modern. Bed is very comfortable. Great location in proximity to town, lake and local attractions. If you are a light sleeper just be mindful the studio is at the front of the building just off the main road and you can hear the traffic until late on a Saturday night. Also, I’m going to voice my best Goldilocks here… the bed would be perfect if they swap out the sleeping pillows for something more supportive as far too soft and wok with a crook neck… luckyDaylesford is massage town 🤪
- Mervyn (2/5): A real disappointment - It is modern, albeit compact, and had all the facilities needed. The road noise. I’m surprised none of the other reviews mentioned this. When we booked the heading for the property description included “Lakeside retreat”. This has since been deleted. It is roadside on the main road into Daylesford. Bedroom door actually vibrated on occasion when heavy vehicles passed by.
We found it so disturbing we left after one night having booked a three night stay.
- Cam (8/5): -
- Steven (10/5): Would return for sure - Very comfortable for two persons
Great location
- Foz (8/5): Location marvellous, comfortable bed. - I loved the location and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also thought the air con worked really well. I felt that the couch in the living room was a bit uncomfortable. I wish I had have known that the other property on site, faced the lake! I didn’t realise this until the last morning when I went looking for the BBQ. I would have loved to have sat on the table outside and had a drink by the lake.
- Aaron (8/5): Lovely stay right on the lake. Clean and great communication. Would definitely stay there again. - Location and cleanliness
- Troy (8/5): -
- Pickard (5/5): Practical but not restfull due to noise from other tennants - Clean practical It was attached directly to other vila in same property. No suppression. I could hear them coughing and kids jumping all over the floor
- Mandy (7/5): Beautiful studio and location. - Loved the coffee, tea varieties and toiletries available.
Studio was clean and tastefully furnished.
Communication was great and very responsive.
Lake is right there, accessible through back stairs.
Lots of parrots around the lake, beautiful to watch. Wifi wasn’t that great and hot water wasn’t working on day 2, but might have been due to winds and I reported it, so next person will be ok.
- Corrina (8/5): -
- Ryan (6/5): Had the potential to be amazing, but I expected more for the price and left a little disappointed. - The location was good. Room was modern and relatively clean. Bed and couch very comfy and the products provided in the bathroom were nice. Rug in the bedroom is pretty badly stained, couch also had some stains. Lightbulbs in the bedroom lamps had thick layers of dust.
2 English breakfast teabags for two people over two nights felt a bit skint, I had also seen in previous reviews a couple of mentions about a welcome pack which we did not have. While this is never expected, it is a nice gesture and a great way to support local businesses and promote local goods.
The stove is also way too close to the backsplash - is this actually up to code? The room smelt like someone had cooked in it not long ago, and I feel the place is a little too small to have cooking facilities. It's not really practical with the size of the room.
The smoke alarm was also flashing red occasionally, might need to be checked.
- Jeffrey (7/5): Good for a stay when you are out and about. - Location was good. No outdoor space that you would expect for a Liz country visit.
- Alexander (10/5): -
- Leather (9/5): NA - NA NA
- Suzanne (9/5): Nice relaxing spot close to lake for walks. Easy walk to restaurants. - Great location Kitchenette very small.
- Greg (9/5): Excellent - Convenient and comfortable The second step on the first stairs is very dangerous. The old sleeper is falling apart.
- Morella (7/5): - The walk by the lake was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and tidy Location is too close to main road. Very noisy with trucks and cars at all hours of the night. Didn’t get a chance to sleep in at all as the trucks started up early in the morning.
- Kerrie (10/5): We loved it that much I am trying to rebook for early next year. - We loved the location, especially being able to walk around the lake. Nothing it was perfect
- Michael (9/5): Very pleasant stay & centrally situated. - Location and well appointed studio were the highlights. The interior seemed somewhat smaller than the pictures illustrated. Although noise from the main road was noticeable, the bedroom is located towards the rear of the property.
- Elke (9/5): -
- Fatimah Ashkar (9/5): - Perfect size, had everything we needed for our little weekend away. Lovely welcome package that included some goodies for us to enjoy. Super clean and thoroughly enjoy the fire pit at the back with the beautiful view of the Lake. Nothing to complain about.
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Frank (8/5): - Great location and neatly presented Bathroom space is tight
- Julia (10/5): -
- Tony (9/5): Overall it was clean handy location and comfortable. - Close to lake No room to use toaster
- Gary (10/5): it was fantastic - great location, central for our location
- Scott (10/5): -
- Arthur (9/5): -
- xiaolei (9/5): -
- Barb (10/5): Wish we could’ve stayed longer. - The villa was perfect for 4 adults. Great layout. Lovely outlook across walk path to the lake. Very minor - could hear traffic as villa is off main road.
- Wendy (10/5): -
- Giulia (9/5): Perfect location, clean and comfortable accommodation - Perfect location near the Lake
- Jackie (7/5): Noisy location, most likely wouldn’t return, disappointing for rate we paid - Bed was comfortable and studio decorated nicely Very tight living if we were wanting to use dining table in tight end of room, which we didn’t due to battle to get into sit at table, only 3 towels for two adults for 4 nights, and only one tea towel. Freezer didn’t even freeze our ice cube tray 🙁 bathroom was nice but power point needs attention and there was dirt on the walls of the shower 🚿 extremely noisy location for traffic/trucks
- Linda (10/5): -
- Brenda (10/5): - Clean and comfortable. Little bit of traffic noise.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Cozy for one person. - It's was so cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable! I was on a solo trip so the size was perfect for just me. The location is great because u are a few steps away from the Daylesford Lake walking track. The larger villa is attached so you hear EVERYTHING...I wld hate to think how disappointed you would be if you booked for a romantic weekend with your partner 😳!
Also as per previous reviews the bathroom is TINY. I am a very small human so it was fine for me but if my husband had have been with me he wld have had to sit on the toilet sideways (he is over 6ft tall)
The WIFi is terrible. I stayed for 2 nights and had a total of 8mins of being able to use the smart functions on the TV and access for phone. I ended up hotspotting from my phone and watched movies on my IPAD. I think they should probably just say no WiFi- will save ppl being disappointed.
- VELEVSKI (9/5): Very Modern Property in a good location - Modern Nothing
- Lorraine (9/5): -
- Aaron Yoshith (10/5): -
- Sophea (9/5): Very comfortable stay, would book again. - The location and amenities were excellent. Heated bathroom and ducted heating wee excellent for traveling with an infant. The mattress on beds were too soft.
- Iliopoulos (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Such a cute little place. It had everything we needed for a couple of days. It was a little difficult to find, especially as it was getting dark.
- Amy (7/5): Perfect for a weekend away trip - Very clean, close to the town
- Sukhwinder (8/5): Overall its good - View as the name of villa its vue villa.. quite peaceful and a short path to lake... very nice view from room esprcially when u wake up in the morning Nothing to dislike ... but yes if they give complimentory breakfast that would give a 5 star rating
- Lily (9/5): We loved our stay at this little Studio. Clean, comfortable and near the Lake. - Breakfast items only included teas and coffee sugar and long life milk Location was nice and handy for walks around lake. We appreciated that owner left air-con on, and music and lights. Also they messaged us to say our room was ready and could go in about 2 and a half hrs before check-in. I thought this was such a lovely gesture and made my day! Sure..the toilet space a bit tiny..but didn't bother us..Only thing for me was the site (re the Studio) is not clear re pets and the people staying in the Villa had 2 huge dogs that barked viciously if we walked past to go down the lake, so we had to walk the long way to avoid them. They also barked constantly at other times and were not quietened down by their owners. That's not the fault of property owners though.
- Stephens (8/5): Very good -
- Felicity (9/5): thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable - beautifully presented the remote on the tv didn’t work on the third day, but we assume it was a solar remote, so run out of charge?
- Sahani (10/5): Highly recommend - Quiet, modern, clean and beautifully furnished
- Carolyn (8/5): Very relaxed, peaceful and comfortable. Sorry I didn’t empty the bin didn’t read the email properly - Not applicable The bathroom and toilet a bit small.
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pui (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (9/5): Great place, nice and clean. Would stay there again. - Great location. Short walk to get into town. Nice and quiet. Liked the google nest. Air con was on when we arrived which was great.
- Mui (9/5): Superb -
- Harrison (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Tina (8/5): It was perfect. A getaway for me and my daughter. We will be back with our own cheese grater! - It was clean and comfortable. Simply furnished with lovely soaps etc. I will definitely go back again. It was such a lovely time. It was short of some essentials : cheese grater, large glasses, food processor, tea pot …
- Michael (9/5): Modern and comfortable in a great location - Great location, a new and modern house, well equipped, a little small but for a short stay perfect, Nothing
- Deirdre (9/5): Good value for location. - A great location, walking distance to town. The room was clean and functional. Good value for the location. The bathroom was very squishy, hard to actually get on the toilet.
- Minnis (10/5): Beautiful location and accommodation -
- Andrew (10/5): Amazing studio accom in Daylesford - Quiet, relaxing space close to town centre. Clean and comfortable.
- Brian (8/5): Well appointed apartment - Location Mattress on bed was not that comfortable
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Tiny (10/5): Our favourite stay in Daylesford so far! - The house was filled with natural light, and was so warm and cozy. All the amenities were in excellent condition, and easy to use. We especially liked the seating area on the balcony; it was spacious and the view was great! Even though it was summer, the awning made it so we could sit there the whole day. The lock box was hard to use, took us longer than usual to get the keys out.
- Geraldine (5/5): Passable -
- Robyne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sonia (7/5): Relaxing - A King bed for the price we paid would have been good.
- Michael (9/5): Wonderful location and facility. Would happily recommend. - Great facilities, very clean great deck with wonderful view of the lake. The lounge in the living room was soft and uncomfortable. It would be good to have king beds in both rooms Entry difficult for older guest
- Angela (10/5): Delightful accommodation - snap it up! - Wonderfully furnished/equipped house in beautiful lakeside loxation. No cheese grater.
- Jeffrey (6/5): Beautiful town for a weekend stay - Great location Small bathroom. Needs to be a higher standard for price
- Francesco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Madeline (5/5): Passable - Lake Como was a beautiful studio Located close to the shops and lake behind the Studio! The traffic noise wasn’t too bad! At night there were no cars as the only traffic was people that needed to go to the shops during the day but at night it was like ghost Town! The studio was clean and when we arrived they had relaxing music on for us. The bed was soooo uncomfortable. I think for the money that was spent there would have been a more comfortable bed.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and nice and cosy room love relaxing was very quiet Would of been if I could see the lake but other than that was lovely
- Inesha (10/5): Very nice place to relax. View from the house is amazing - Very clean and nice place . Clear instructions and the view is amazing . Great place and location for all activities near Daylesford and Hepburn. Nothing to complain about
- Loretta (10/5): Perfect and cosy getaway - The property was in a perfect location

- Betty (10/5): Exceptional - The house was absolutely beautiful, very modern and clean. Loved the artwork. Stunning views of the daylesford lake very tranquil. Location is close to the main strip of shops also. The beds were firm and comfortable. We will be back and highly recommend. Loved everything there was nothing to fault.
- Christine (10/5): Enjoyable weekend away - The Studio was very cozy and spotless. On arrival the Studio was heated and warm, soft music was playing which was a nice start to the day. The bed was comfortable. Would definitely return next time we visit Daylesford. Nothing to dislike.
- Glenn (8/5): Lake Como Studio - Great location and very clean studio accommodation. Smart TV, so it was easy to watch the AFL or a movie. Bed was pretty comfortable. Easy to check in and out with the key safe. Small toilet area in bathroom and there was no hand towel to wipe the dishes with after they were washed.
- Armbrust (9/5): Superb -
- Krystyn (8/5): Very good - Close to every thing
Good views
Very clean
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional - Great cosy and modern accomodation in the heart of Daylesford town. The studio had everything we needed for a weekend away, and was well insulated during the cold rainy days too.
- Gordana (8/5): Very good -
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Navaneeth (8/5): Good value for money - Good value for money. A couple minutes away from the main street. Clean, comfortable and tidy. Having Netflix definitely helped as well. You can hear the traffic noise from the room.
Bathroom is a bit tiny.
- Jayden (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marilyn (2/5): Very disappointing. Will never stay there again. - I was shocked that what I’ve paid for is a tiny room with kitchenette. I thought there would be balcony Or windows at least. The bathroom was incredibly tight that hardly any space to move when I sat on the toilet. It was a very uncomfortable day. The pictures on the website is completely misleading! The room size and bathroom
The kettle is damaged and I had to pull the cover very hard to open it
- Kaye (9/5): Walkable into town and walking tracks. - The location was great. Walkable to town, walking tracks etc. Bed cosy once we found electric blanket to warm bed prior to getting in. Light filled, so suitable for reading. The bathroom was small. But really the only problem was using the toilet. It is a small space. Luckily my husband and I are slighter people. Would be very difficult for bigger build people, long legged or have knee problems.
Also a small table perhaps were the cane trunk is.
- Stefanie (10/5): A beautiful modern studio apartment. Freshly furnished, comfortable with all the necessities needed for a short getaway. - A beautiful modern studio apartment. Freshly furnished, comfortable with all the necessities needed for a short stay. Great location on the lake.
- Dyah (10/5): A very cozy place, close to main town and lake. The bed so comfortable and clean. - Very spectacular None
- Malgorzata (7/5): Good -
- Jade (9/5): Stunning accommodation - Gorgeous property, rooms tastefully styled and in a great location with close vicinity to the lake. Parking space was quite tight to get in and out of
