Very convenient location - walking distance from town/breakwall and short car trip to lighthouse, etc. Neat and clean room that looks like it was recently renovated (tilework excluded). I did not take advantage of the pool, but it looked nice. Nothing really. I would have appreciated a brighter light in the living area, but that may just be me. The bedside lamps were good.

• Kevin (10/5): If you’re looking for a Pet friendly accommodation, this is it. - Good mix of accommodation. Most importantly they are pet friendly. Nothing. It was clean, spacious, and the ground floor units opened up onto a garden.

The hosts are wonderful and helpful, and the whole place is always clean and tidy. The beds are super comfortable, and the rooms are always spotless, with fresh towels daily. Highly recommend. No complaints whatsoever.

• Brooke (1/5): horrible experience, terrible treatment for making a mistake regarding check in times. - location hospitality. I have never been scolded and given such a guilt trip by someone working in hospitality. My crime was arriving later than expected to accomodation that advertises on their website “We provide 24-hour on site management.” I got an email the day I was due to check in asking when I was arriving, we didn’t see the message as we were driving. I was told I gave a dodgy number (I didn’t), stopped him having dinner out and kept him for sleeping. I was scolded when I called the number at 9.30pm and then greeted by a very angry man (who appeared literally a couple of minutes later so there is onsite “management”). I apologised for my error in not seeing the message and not realising the office closed at 6pm. I also offered to pay the advertised $100 fee for what was my error. He seemed happier to yell at me. It’s disappointing that no effort was made to problem solve for what I’m sure is a common issue for motels. You could have sent an SMS or left the keys in one of the key lock boxes next to reception. Had I been travelling without my partner I would left. I would not have felt safe staying in a place where such a minor offence results in such poor treatment. We had a booking for our return trip home which we canceled as soon as we got into the room. We left as soon as we had gotten enough rest to safely continue on our journey. Please read all the other 1 star reviews before staying before staying here

• Joko0267 (10/5): Phantastische Lagenund freundlicher Service - Die Lage ist phantastisch denn nach wenigen Minuten steht man an dem wundervollen Town Beach. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten stehen in der Nähe zur Verfügung und auch eine Tankstelle ist nicht weit entfernt. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr gut eingerichtet. Auch die kleine Küche kann für die Frühstücksvoebereitung genutzt werden. Auch ein Sandwichtoaster stand neben einem „normalen Toaster zur Verfügung. Wir waren schon 2018 dort und auch diesmal wurden wir freundlich empfangen und wenn Port Macquarie auf dem Plan steht werden wir wieder dort buchen.

• Rob & Sue (9/5): A hidden gem. - We have never stayed at The Town Beach Motel Inn but were very impressed with the rooms, very comfortable with nice little touches. The gardens were amazing and it was lovely sitting outside having a cuppa in the lovely surrounds. Will certainly stay again.

The accommodation is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with a pool. The motel is located within walking distance of shops and cafes. The bed was very comfortable. Great value for money!

We liked the fact we could bring our small dog with us and that the room didn’t smell of dog. We had to wash up the cups and glasses as they were dirty. The fridge door didn’t have the bar across so we couldn’t keep our bottle of milk in the door so we laid it on the shelf and it leaked. Definitely not big things but disappointing. Our room did have a musty smell which must of been known as there was an over bearing air freshener plugged in.
