Guest Reviews
- Linda (10/5): - Perfect position, everything you need, lots of thoughtful touches and spotlessly clean.
- Margaret (10/5): - We loved the location. Quiet, peaceful, stunning views. The unit was impeccable and so luxurious - clean, warm, thoughtfully prepared, just perfect!
- Marla (10/5): - The property is beautifully appointed. You are secluded but you should know that when booking. It’s a 15 minute drive to Tanunda and a 7 minute drive to Lyndoch. You come here for the serenity and the views. Relax from wine country and enjoy your wines and company.
The host is fabulous with delicious breakfast for the days you are staying. A lovely bottle of wine. A white table cloth and napkins.
The jacuzzi tub has the lines professionally cleaned between each visitor so you know she cares about your health and she recycles. This place is so green.
On top of it you’re staying on a reserve that rescues and heals Emus, Kangaroos and Wallabies.
Need I say more about Nat and team. Come stay and enjoy it’s a great place. We’ve loved our visit. Thank you.

Our 3 night stay at River One Pavillion was outstanding and we cannot speak more highly of this accommodation! Everything was very well thought out, welcoming, comfortable, modern, private, gorgeous smelling local products in bathroom/kitchen yummy provisions that were very generous for our 3 night stay. Check in and check out were a breeze. We’d definitely love to revisit in the future. Worth every penny - book this place if you really want to treat yourself - you will not regret!

Only negatives were , very soft bed, and shower head without hand held device. Sheep by the front were lovely. Sunrise and sunset were something to die for. Breakfast provisions were enormous as was bottle of wine.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - A beautiful rural get away with wonderful scenic views over rolling hills and vineyards. The Pavilions are are an extremely tranquil chalet in close proximity to the Barossa's Wineries and Fine Dining restaurants. All rooms are spacious and provide amazing views across the valley. It is a modern design, quality appliances and furnishings but with a country homely touch. If you like a bit privacy and space around you, but still expect quality you'll love the Pavilions.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything is so well thought out.. one of those places u wish you never had to leave. Spectacular!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet, seemingly isolated, well provisioned, relaxing. Everything you needed was there plus more. Very nice and would certainly recommend.
- Melissa (10/5): Best self-contained accom with outstanding views! - Barossa Pavilions was absolutely incredible! We loved all the special and thoughtful details throughout the house - especially the notes on how to care for the glassware (so we can have NICE glassware), the dimmable lights, the auto blinds, the matches near the candles... so many details that made our stay perfect. The abundant basket of goodies for breakfast was amazing and loved that we could learn where each product came from in the local area. We ended up making a delicious pasta using the chorizo, mushrooms and tomatoes provided, as we ended up staying at the house more than we had originally planned as it was too nice to leave - even with all of the Barossa on your doorstep. This is the first place we have stayed in that actually provide you with a milker for the Nespresso machine. As a flat white drinker, this was probably the most appreciated touch to our whole stay. The stunning views across the valley are impeccable, even in this very dry season. Loved the easy check-in and the privacy of each property. We enjoyed our 3 nights of complete relaxation - will definitely be back again one day soon and have already been recommending to our friends and family. Perfect for a couple's escape.
- Peter (10/5): Amazing place to stay! - Perfect in every way with everything you need to relax and enjoy the wineries.
- josh (10/5): Amazing place, amazing views, only stay here! - This place is perfect, it’s very personal and breakfast is provided, bacon, halloumi, sausages, muesli, cornflakes, jams, fruit, yogurts, bread, tomatoes, coffee...everything!!! Your own spa, comfiest bed, tv in bedroom connects to tv out in the lounge, Apple TV with heaps of movies. This place is literally perfect! You can call taxis to the place and they know the codes to the gates, couldn’t be easier! And the view!!
- Craik (10/5): Awesome accomodation - This a great getaway location. Secluded, awesome views and excellent attention to detail in the property.
- Kam Wah (10/5): A pleasant stay - Very comfortable and well equipped property. The surrounding is a bit bare. Love to have more trees and plants.
- Bill (10/5): Stunning - This was the nicest self contained accommodation we have stayed in. Beautifully done, with high end finishes, appliances and thoughtful touches. Very private. We loved our stay here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Relaxing! The self contained unit is a great way to get away and feel like you are completely alone. Would not recommend anywhere else for a couples get away in the Barossa.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - Organized, clean. Everything available. Highly recommended
- Kelly (10/5): - Loved it!
Very private and beautiful.
The room had everything, the bed was very comfortable!
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
- Nathan (10/5): Tranquil perfection - An absolutely amazing place to stay. My wife and I have stayed in many 5 star resorts in Australia and around the world and this was by far the most scenic, tranquil, romantic and relaxing place we've ever stayed. Massive bonus to be right in the heart of the barossa wine region as well. Could not speak more highly of James & Helen the proprieters for their thoughtfulness in all aspects of our stay and they could not have been more accommodating. This place is pure perfection and no detail has been missed in this Accomodation. Very highly recommend!
- Ed (10/5): Breath taking... - We decided on a last minute couple's getaway and after looking at page after page of the same kind of thing, I stumbled upon the Barossa Pavilions. Amazing views, modern and up-market finishings and everything you could ask for in the local produce Hamper provided.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect retreat - Luxurious, private, beautiful views. The owners have thought of every little detail. We didn't want to leave.
- Adam & Alice (10/5): Amazing location for a romantic getaway - Everything about Barossa Pavilions is amazing! location, views, privacy, attention to detail, facilities, breakfast inclusion...the list goes on! The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome! Perfect for couples wanting a romantic weekend away! Our anniversary was made all the more special due to our stay at Barossa Pavilions, couldnt recommend highly enough!
- JF (10/5): Outstanding - Very private. Great View. Like home and then some. Thought of every detail. Would love to go back.
- Daniel (10/5): Romantic Weekend at Barossa Pavilions - My wife and I had a wonderful 2 day trip of the Barossa Valley staying at the Barossa Pavilions. We stayed in "Sky Two" pavilion. The accommodation was perfect in everyway. High recommend it for a private and/or romantic getway. The whole residence was well designed and thought out and had every creature company you could desire. Extremely comfortable to stay a little or a lot in the accommodation. Very private - didn't see a sole the whole time.
