The service received was very accommodating which was great as we were all very tired. We even ended up with a better room than we had booked. It was very spacious and had an awesome big balcony wrapped around with a great view. The room even had movies and magazines to use. Location was great, quick walk to the beach and multiple cafes/restaurants.

Enjoyed the pool as well. The apartment was very clean and was equipped with all the dishes and other kitchen necessities you need. The managers were very friendly and helpful.

If walking you will need to be fit as it is very hilly in the area of the unit

Upgraded to penthouse on arrival. Beautiful unit, great views with lovely breezes. Central location, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Unit was a little tired in the bathrooms and kitchen but it was well looked after. Couple of minor issues that were advised and well received by management on check out. They did not affect our stay in the least. We had a great weekend away with our 2.5 year old and 2.5 week old.

- jane (10/5): QUIET AND GOOD LOCATION - Lovely comfortable apartment however recommend café blinds be installed on the veranda so this area can still be used in wet weather.. rain blows in and the run of the patio leads to a drain close to the windows so you sit on the outdoor setting with your feet in pools of water. The spa area on the roof top a little disappointing - a BBQ there would have enabled us to have a meal up there and enjoy this space.
- Kerri (10/5): Close to everything -lovely management - We didn't know there was a festival on the weekend - we were just going to the beach, but they told us about it and made sure we knew about some free entertainment that was being put on and checked in with us to make sure we were finding our way around. They told us about nice places to eat and even offered late checkout. Can't wait to go again.

I them went to my apartment where I was amazed by the ocean view that greet my eyes as I thought I was getting a garden suite for the unbelievable price I paid for the 2 night stay.

The managers went above and beyond to make us comfortable offering great advice on things to do and where to eat. They even loaned us their own highchair which was really helpful. - Disappointed (2/5): Pity about management. - I cannot recall the last time myself or my wife were spoken to so rudely. A simple complaint about the lack of hot water resulted in a verbal torrent of excuses, accusations, and threats. The first family holiday we have had in two years was tainted by the manager's abrasive, harsh tone, and what should have been a carefree escape on the Sunshine Coast was clouded by worry. Having worked in customer service myself, I was astounded by the aggressive stance taken by the male proprietor. He refused to acknowledge my reasonable expectations of hot water at night and a spa ready to go on our first of two nights away. Having dealt with his amicable, apologetic partner on the first night, I was stunned by his backpedalling on the morning, in which he stopped just short of kicking us out of the hotel. Putting this ugly encounter behind us, we made the best of what was perfect weather and, to the owner's credit, an inviting room and rooftop spa. On checking out, I notified the managers of a part of the spa that was broken on our arrival, and left after enduring another round of excuses about the temperamental hot water system. Imagine our surprise when the manager called, while we were on our way home, to accuse us of breaking the spa part then lying about it. He threatened to charge us, also claiming our children had put soap in the spa. Maybe hospitality is not what it once was. Chivalry may also be dead. He accused my wife of lying. Over the phone. We won't be back.

The apartment was spacious, clean and had all the facilities needed, with a convenient undercover parking garage. It is close to the beach with lots of activities for children, good restaurants and nice walks.

- Andrew (10/5): Great hotel, big balconies and friendly managers! - Stayed in one of the 3 bedroom ocean view rooms and was very happy with the size and comfort. The managers surprised us with some goodies in our room and the view of the ocean was excellent. Ensuite and Bathroom were both great and beds in all the rooms very comfortable. Our friends also stayed in the Penthouse which was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone looking for shared accommodation or family accommodation in Caloundra!

- macca (2/5): Retirement village not family friendly resort - A great retirement village!!!not a holiday resort. Management more interested in looking after the elderly owner /occupiers than the family holiday makers. So many unnecessary rules and a manager lacking tolerance towards kids. Please do not advertise this as a resort...certainly not for families with kids over 11 or 12. But place is clean and well looked after but with priority given to permanent residents. We understand this but it is NOT a place for families with teenage kids.
