The owners were very friendly and recommended a great restaurant/wine bar called Bah Bah in the main street. Food & drinks were really good and well priced too. If you’re in Cootamundra go and support these 2 businesses Nothing about the Motel. There’s not much to do in Cootamundra.

They were very friendly and helpfully during check in and the following morning. The bed was comfy, wifi was great, tele was a gem. No complaints. A pool would've been nice but not the end of the world.

• Karen (10/5): A quiet gem - For various reasons I have had cause to stay in quite a few accommodation places over the last 18 months. This place is a gem. From a friendly greeting in reception on arrival, to the delight of opening the door into a spacious and nicely appointed room, it was obvious this was a place where people cared about the comfort of their guests. This assessment was made due to a number of thoughtful inclusions, starting with fresh milk on arrival, (not uht) and plenty of teabags, coffee, sugar and good sized, clean mugs. A winner was that the fridge had a freezer section that worked. The attractive, fresh smelling, bed cover was clearly regularly cleaned, as was the blanket on the bed. The bed was comfortable with good pillows. All free to air channels worked on the television. In the bathroom were thick, absorbent towels and the rarity of both washers AND hand towels. Body wash, conditioner, shampoo and hand wash was provided in large containers rather than those little, not very environmentally friendly, small containers and throwaway bars of soap. Another winner. No interruption to the water pressure while showering is also uncommon. Rooms either side had occupants, though we did not hear them. These are thoughtful, but much appreciated inclusions that are rare to find all in the one room. I found nothing to fault.

She pointed out the local amenities, and directed us to our room. The room was very clean, neat and tidy with an airy feeling. Very pleasant indeed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom well appointed and clean. Coffee facilities we well stocked, and fresh milk provided upon arrival. The short drive into the town centre was very easy and the meals in the local hotel first rate.

• WenKuz (9/5): Comfortable and pleasant stay - We were very tired after riding and we had a lovely reception by the manager who gave us some recommendations for dinner. The room was very comfortable. It was great to be able to use streaming services [our own account] to watch a movie. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available in the bathroom. My husband was very pleased that some good coffee was supplied and a coffee plunger. All good, nothing to complain about

• Derek (1/5): Not satisfactory. - We have been debited twice for our one night accommodation.Our account was debited when we booked with Bookings.com.Upon arrival at the motel we were informed that payment had not been received and that the accommodation fee was required. We produced our bank statement showing the fee had exited our account to the motel. Much discussion and calls to Booking.com were fruitless. We reluctantly paid the fee again with the indication that the matter could raised with Booking .com the next day. Phone calls were unhelpful and we are still debited twice.
