- Sally-Anne (8/5): Easy pleasant place to stay if going to Winton Track - Reception person was very friendly and helpful. Easy to find, centrally located, good wide parking spaces. Tele easy to use. Good flat access to property so no scraping front of car . Kind of miss the motorsport pictures in reception, but everything else is great.

- Kristina (9/5): - Staff were very helpful and approachable. Pool was great during a heatwave. Motel was central and close to a choice of restaurants and cafes. Shower was a little mouldy in places and the office was signposted to be open at 7.30am but was still closed at 8am.
- Bruce (8/5): Perfect.....almost! - Room was exceptional. Really well set out , spotlessly clean,and very functional.. The only thing we didn't like was the fact we had a toaster and microwave, but the only cutlery in the room was 2 teaspoons. Tough the butter toast with a spoon!!

I was surprised how cheap the room was for the condition and comfort of the room, I’ve stayed in much, much worse at a higher cost. I didn’t get to use the pool more often…..too busy.

- Rodney S (7/5): Not as good as in previous visits and we will probably not stay there again. - This motel has just been taken over from a family who took great pride in the motel, its surrounds and its presentation to its customers. The rooms are good and the facilities are fine. The cleanliness of the hotel has gone downhill since it has been taken over. Also the surrounds are also not looked after as they were. The plant in the pool was a perfect example of a decrease in the attention to detail.

Room was clean and comfortable and looked to be recently renovated with new bathroom. TV could do with an update and kettle needed to be descaled.

- Anne (10/5): Top of the Town, The Best. - Room spacious, clean and recently refurbished. Wi fi excellent. Shower pressure was strong and bed comfortable. Walking distance to city centre. Would definately stay there again. Excellent motel. Benalla is a lovely town and we found the people very friendly.

We had a trailer that needed a parking spot, the team were flexible with this, which can be an issue in many motels. Location could be viewed as noisy due to the location, however the rooms are very quiet. Road noise is not an issue at all. Nothing I could suggest.

- Williams (1/5): ** WARNING** BLACK MOLD SOAKED ROOM CARPETS - Nothing at all actually leaving the place Booked online photos of room looked lovely comfortable room to relax in with very good facilities, after receiving the key i had walked into a half wet room my first thought was that the room had a late guest before us that had used the shower walking water out on floors, not thinking anything was wrong had a shower then left room for about 1h 20min come back to the room more wet which had spread to our bags, under the bed and bedside dresser partner suggested it may have been steam cleaned so put our stuff up onto couch my partner then had a shower before bed and to our amazement bam now there's a massive puddle on carpet partner had a more observative look and noticed this had been an on going issue as the smell of wet underlay and carpet and the black mold along skirting so we moved the bed to opposite side of room as to not be surrounded by it wokenup next morning with sore throats and coughing like crazy im still feeling ill with a sore throat n coughing like razors now. It take a minimum of 2weeks for black mold to form so this is a very long ongoing issue so for a so called highly rated family stay i would not risk it..Also there is absolutely no cutlery in room electric blanket was faulty on 1 side wall mounted TV is just hanging on wall not fastened at all ignorant workers start shift 6am slamming n bashing doors and trolleys it an absolute disgrace for the price paid your better of sleeping in your car would not recommend and will never stay again
