Burr (5/5): Comfortable one night stay. - Place is a bit tired. Photos online don’t really reflect actual. Proprietor acknowledged that they were old photos. We do not like that the bathroom vanity is also where you are expected to wash any dirty dishes. A one night stay, long time campers, prepared to compromise a bit. Bathroom vanity bowl where you wash your hands/face, clean your teeth, also for washing dirty dishes.

Beds great, temp.control good. Booked triple room only two chairs and had to ask for a third setting cups glasses etc.

Well maintained grounds, clean rooms. Rooms were equipped with large Tv + Netflix. Hot shower, comfy beds, air con, fridge etc. Parking infront of rooms. Will come again.

1jandj (2/5): Bad choice - Should have read the 2 previous reviews. Shower room in otiginal 1960's condition apart from the silicon on mould on silicon and the mould in the cracked tiles. Chose not to shower as behind the door a clump of black hair and other matter which we chose not to investigate. No top sheet on the bed, hopefully doona cover replaced after previous guests? Give this place a miss.

Greg (2/5): Comfortable enough the lack of cleanliness is concern did get an up grade to a spa room but wouldn’t use it as it wasn’t - There was nothing to like about the property it was aged and noting like the photos on your web page. When I showed the owner the photos he agreed that they were very old photos. He upgraded our room but the quality and cleanliness were a lot to be desired. Everything poor cleaning practices there was old food under the coffee table so attention to detail would be a welcomed priority

I didn’t need an extra bed so unsure why he said that. Place was really old, needed renovation. Pool area was padlocked. Playground area/what playground. Definitely should be named a budget motel but is not priced as budget. Had to go and ask for toiletries. Ended up going and buying my own.

The carpet was quite dirty, but the main concern was the inability to properly lock the door to my room. At one point, I woke up to find the door wide open, likely due to wind or passing trucks on the road in front of the room.

Dale (3/5): NOT HAPPY KERANG VALLEY RESORT - Room was large, spacious and comfortable, with well appointed bathroom/ensuite. Motorbike group ride. I was NOT allotted a room as agreed (All rooms in or next to rear block) in weeks leading up to our stay and confirmed the preceding week. Group of six rooms and my room was separated to front (highway noise) and from remainder of our group at rear. This was re-arranged after some discussion. Selected the Kerang Valley Resort for the pool inclusion due to forecast hot weather, and as it was 38Deg C that day, only to find it was unusable on arrival. Excuse of larger user group the week before - suggested strongly he be more customer focused and get professional pool cleaner in ASAP. Wasn't interested. Driveway is patchy, potholed and obvious WHS trip hazard risk. Not a good look and for motorbikes, not user friendly.

Fiona (3/5): Web sites falsely advertises this motel - Nothing Your website states swimming pool and BBQ area there was no BBQ area and the pool was closed these are the only reasons why we booked this motel. We couldn't sleep because there was constant trucks going pass using air breaks and there was kids running pass our room yelling at 1230 am
512wilsonb (2/5): Book a room only to be scammed - I had booked a renovated front block room for 1 night stay. I arrived outside reception hours to find that I had been downgraded to an un renovated back block room. While out at dinner, the glass light shade in the shower room had fallen from tge roof and shattered over the tiled floor causing it difficult to clean to enable me to have a shower. I have since been accused of smashing the shade from the roof. There was alot of dead bugs and dirt under the bed that had never been cleaned. Both Expedia and the property accept and responsibility for the downgrade in room type claiming that I had actually been upgraded into this larger, dirty and hazardous room. Additionally there are dirty ashtrays out the front of every room, so much for booking non-smoking. Having tried to seek compensation and refund from Expedia, you get the run around from may customer service agents and the property itself stating a no refund policy. Under Australian Consumer Law this is incorrect as they must offer a refund as they did not provide the product I had purchased being a renovated room. All in all, stay here at your own risk. Kerang has alot more cleaner and safer options. Also make sure you book direct with a property as using a 3rd party booking agent like Expedia, will only cause additional obstacles if you have a genuine complaint.lastly, if you do happen to leave something in your room after departure, such as a phone charger, you will never see it again. Very poor experience.

Classyofnhill (6/5): THE KERANG VALLEY RESORT.... - We booked into this property because it's website showed a delightful looking restaurant but sadly we learnt it had been closed 5 years but still being advertised. How the Health Dept. has passed the Bathroom area I do not know because this was unbelievable. The bench had hand basin where you wash teeth, shave, brush your hair or whatever you do in a bathroom alongside the toaster, kettle, rubbish bin, fridge, micro wave & plus the toilet in a tiny separate room on right of bench & shower in tiny separate room on left of bench. If you are a large person, I do not know how you would cope with the size of the amenities. Fortunately the bed was ok but then the doona is too hot for us so doona had to go as it was covered by the top sheet which was the doona cover. The TV had the cords all straggling in sight which was like a jumble sale.The aircon we couldn't get it right either. I thought being a Resort, it would live up to what a Resort really is but think about it if you book; do a room show before you unload the luggage from the car. Our bad choice. I wouldn't stay again but that's my choice as may suit others but not us. -Helen of Nhill

When we spoke to management we were told it wasn’t their fault and wasn’t offered to be refunded the difference in price or a change of rooms. I thought that was quite poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are a tradie.

Karen (8/5): We came up to Kerang for a funeral and booked our room a week prior. The booking process was easy and overall the stay w - Value for money and convenient for our personal needs at the time. Generally quite clean and tidy and very presentable upon entry. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great! Excellent location to the main town of Kerang. Carpet in the toilet.
Don (4/5): will never book anything with BOOKING.COM again - Did not have breakfast We booked and found all the room prices different and i booked with you thieves and was dearer by 36 dollars . Also the restaurant was closed you could have told me when i booked on the 21st of January We had a group of twelve had to get take away both nights
