The small kitchenette is all we need when traveling. Perfect location for teens to come & go independently. In summer jou must book 3 nights to stay & we only need 2 :)

Steve (8/5): A Nostalgic Stay at a Lovely Spot Directly Across the Street From the Beach - This place is ideally located directly across the street from the beautiful beach. Only a short walk to a small "main street" type shopping area and several restaurants. A relatively short drive to the Bluff Point Lookout - where sunset was amazing. When we checked-in we received such a warm wlecome. We were directed to restaurants nearby, asked about our needs. We had hoped to make our own breakfast in the morning but the room didn't have a cook top - the lady at reception asked if we needed an electric fry pan. We said "yes" - it was huge and we were able to make a nice breakfast with it along with the toaster and kettle before heading out in the morning. Also, at check-in we were traveling with a cooler but the refrigerator was too small to keep our ice frozen - they offered to keep our ice in their freezer until we checked-out. Such lovely people. The room was comfortable, a little dated but the staff and cleanliness made up for that. There is a laudry room with large washers and dryers - and they charged only $5 AUD per load (a total of $10 for both the washer and dryer.) We didn't use the pool but it was private and looked inviting. Also, this motel reminded us of family owned motels we used to stay at back when we were younger traveling across the US (a long time ago so it was nostalgic for us.) You backed right up to your room, unloaded what you needed and easily and quickly re-loaded the car in the morning. It makes me smile to think of our stay . . . I'd stay here again. It would have been nice to have had a little larger refrigerator and a cook top but the staff helped us make it work nicely.

Walking distance to everything you may require such as supermarkets, shopping centers, boutique stores, stores in general. Beach, cafes/restaurants, Sailing Club all across the road, so very convenient when on a getaway break. Good sized room, comfy bedding, well equipped kitchenette, cleanliness, car park outside the room, great staff and simple and quick check in and out service. No iron but I'm sure they would have one on site if I had asked.

The only time it was quiet was between 3:00 and 6:00 am. However then we could hear the person next door snoring! We had to keep all the blinds closed to have any privacy. Just ridiculous!

We didn't need to drive anywhere as everything was extremely close. The bed was very comfy and we were able to wash and dry our clothes on the premises. Only issue was a bit of early night noise as we were room 1 right on the road but we also had a best view.

Never again. - Location was good, staff friendly Small room, Very noisy location, no insect screen on bathroom window, so insects had free reign. the price was outragous for the quality of the room / facilities. A realistic price per night would be $120, not the $243 we were charged!!!

My partner and I have become quite fond of little weekend getaways in Yeppoon and we can honestly say this was by far the winner when it comes to location. You can park the car up and walk just about everywhere you need to without hassle. The staff were also exceptional, very welcoming and happy. We were fortunate enough to receive a call the day prior to checking in, from reception advising they would like to upgrade our room for us to 'The Pandanus Room'. The room was beautiful, tidy and cozy, we were not expecting an upgrade of any kind, but it was absolutely appreciated.

No utensils or even a bread knife in kitchen. Does have a cutting board though 😀. Just the basic knives forks and spoons. A little noisy from traffic and drunk pedestrians at night. Neil (10/5): Would definitely stay again, thank you! - Location is fantastic right opposite a stunning beach and great restaurants. Easy check in and parking. Great power in the shower. Great air-conditioning. Lovely pool area. The shower does have a corner leak (room 5) that needs attention.
