- peter (10/5): - the property was well maintained but is aging. our management person on the day was excellent and briefed us on security and other good to know info. location riverside is excellent so you can park the car keys during your stay.
- John (6/5): - The studio apartment was very tiny with three chairs taking up the limited floor space. Hence no room for our suitcases. The TV was positioned very high on the wall making it very difficult to watch. The only shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries was very narrow and high. The window was tiny, meaning that the limited view of the pool could only be achieved by standing right next to it. The plantation shutters allowed the outside lighting to keep the room relatively bright all night. The lift was great - no lugging suitcases upstairs. There were plenty of good places to eat right on the doorstep.

- Robyn (10/5): - Communication with Reception Manager was prompt and informative. Beautiful resort style complex with a great pool and spa. Walking track along the river is just out front with lots of dining options as well. The room was spacious and had everything you need. Free bus in to Hastings street, 9mins, during school holidays was a bonus as parking difficult in Noosa its self. Under Cover secure parking was perfect, all be it a little tight, kept car cool on the hot summer days. Only grievance was that we would have loved extra towels with cost or more washing powder to wash the one towel each over 3 days. This was definitely over shadowed by how perfect everything else was.

- Trina (4/5): - BE AWARE of their ‘HOTEL STYLE ROOM’ Called property after hours (Sunday late morning) to enquire about any availability for 5 nights after being informed from our original booking, at another resort, that they would be under renovations during our booked dates. Were told by management that they couldn’t confirm availability until Monday, when they were back in the office. Found a room on Expedia that was advertised as ‘Hotel style room’ Studio. BE AWARE…this is a tiny box with a small opening window and glass blocks as it’s other. The Colonial management would not offer us any other room (even for our last couple of nights). We were informed after booking, that this room was usually sold for only 1-2 nights. No where to dry clothing and resort informed us that we would be charged if we wanted any more clean towels!… and $75 on departure if we didn’t leave the room as we found it (no dirty dishes in sink or rubbish). We asked if there were any other rooms available for even 1 or 2 nights of our 5, as this was a special holiday for my husband and I. We’re informed that they were totally booked (This was untrue, as another guest confirmed vacancy around their units & we could see ourselves, that our adjoining room was empty). This resort has the best pool, and in a fabulous location….shame about Management’s poor attitude and money hungry policy (Would have happily paid the difference in price to have a relaxing holiday and memorable experience).

- RICHARD (6/5): No to Studio - I was quite horrified by the size of the studio apartment and would never book that room again, even if I was by myself. The complex is in a wonderful location, with a beautiful garden and pool setting. The lift makes life easy. Colonial Resort is worth a stay but not in their one and only studio unit.
- Kathleen (4/5): - We were told to collect our keys from the restaurant downstairs to check in at lunchtime as the reception area was closed but they weren’t there when we arrived so we had to phone and wait for our key. We weren’t given any literature or pamphlet or email in regards to the amenities. I tried to access the gym in the afternoon of the first day and again in the next morning but it was locked both times so had to phone again only to be told we needed another key for this which we should have known about in the information pack which we never received. Later that day we used the spa only to discover it wasn’t operating. Our shower screen didn’t shut as it dragged along the tiled floor before jamming ajar causing the bathroom floor to flood when we showered. Was not told how to self check out when we left and had to phone again. Would not recommend and won’t be back.

Carpark at the rear of property a bit of a walk and lift to the room on the 1st floor. Room small and had a king size bed which took up most of the bedroom area. If I had any other comment it would be that over many years of travelling regularly globally and locally and spending much time in hotels this is the first time I have ever had a phone call precisely on the dot of 10.00 am to ensure that I had checked out. (10.00 am is checkout time) and the cleaner was also standing at the door. Fortunately I was ready to walk out at exacly then not 5 minutes past.

The location is awesome, not only are you super close to all of the Noosaville beauty, you have wonderful cafes and restaurants and boutique shops right outside your door. The appartment itself is very well appointed with great furniture and fittings. I loved the bed, so comfy! The ducted air conditioning was fabulous, the kitchen was huge and the washing machine & dryer were so so handy! I would definitely return here next time I need a chilled break away from the busyness of life!

- Dennis (6/5): Lovely but noisy - We checked into the Studio which was very compact. Lovely decorated & comfy bed. Shame there was only a window & no patio. Pool & garden was lovely. The complex has shops & restaurants at the front which are quite noisy of a morning & the noise echos through, noise can be heard even with window closed. No sleep in after 7am I'm afraid.

The pool I thought could’ve been better planned as it didn’t look very inviting as in the cooler months the sun doesn’t shine anywhere around it , be whole different story in the warmer months as it would be a paradise looking pool , big enough to accomodate everyone at once ... over all I do rate it about 4.5 out 5 only cause no sun on pool area other than that I would stay there again and that’s gunna happen very soon and would recommend that people experience it them selves , $ for value 5/5

- Lareen (8/5): Clean and modern studio - We stayed in a studio. It was clean and modern with a microwave, kettle and toaster to prepare breakfast. The kingsize bed was comfortable. Although we realise it is a studio, we found it to be very small and we felt cramped.

- Bremmer (10/5): Awesome place, stayed there before & come back any - Resort is at perfect place on both sides along the river restaurants, cafe's shops etc. Beautiful walking paths along the river. Very relaxing. Very friendly people and good food and service everywhere.

- loveggs (10/5): good location with a lot of amenities nearby - The room is a bit smaller than expected but overall is great! I love the heated towel rack and the free usage for BBQ area. The area is well kept, clean and equipped with the necessary stuff for usage. There's eateries nearby on the Noosa river side including all the boat rentals. IF you are willing to walk further, there's a fishing tackle shop nearby (my hubby favorite) and other shops and other eateries nearby too.
- Leisa (10/5): - Excellent location with easy access to all part of Noosa and fantastic view over Noosa River. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. I was there to take part in the Noosa Running Festival and accommodation was perfect. Rooms were bright, cheerful, colourful, clean and well presented. Heated resort pool was gorgeous and walk straight downstairs to two great cafes, shopping and straight across the road for access to the river.
- James (10/5): Amazing Family Stay - An Amazing place for a family get away. Great pool, amazing facility and all within 50 meters of restaurants, cafes and the river/beach.
