• Sarah (8/5): Clean comfortable budget accommodation in good location - Good price, close to what we needed. Not a bad size room with big tv and in room amenities (fridge microwave etc). The external appearance needs work. Looks like a run down shady motel when it is actually a nice place to stay. Asphalt instead of dirt would be a good start.

Will look elsewhere - Good location, lady at reception was polite and friendly. bed was comfortable parking convenient Room was tiny nowhere to store clothes. Air conditioning did not work, TV selection confusing and inadequate. Bathroom very small and shower had very low flow of water. Water temperature in the shower was variable, kept going from hot to cold. No plug in the sink for shaving.

• John (8/5): Adequate for a one night stay. - A bit on the edge of town, old, but the North Eastern Hotel close by resulted in an enjoyable meal. That pub and its staff were 10 out of 10. The accomodation at Rose City was just adequate for a one night stay. It was quiet, clean. The grounds need a bit of modernisation, as do the properties.

• William (5/5): Cheap and cheerful - Very basic but cheap. Bathroom (shower) needs work. We had an issue with the shower curtain (no tempered glass screen). It ended up a trip hazard which ended up with a hospital visit because the ambulances were too busy at 6am to come. All good now but a real problem at the time.

Everything was very clean and towels were pretty soft. Overall very happy with my stay External lighting at night. I arrived home late both nights and there was no lighting near my room or around the motel in general. Only minimal lights and signage outside the motel.

Room was perfect for an over night visit where it was clean and functional. Its a little old looking but clean is more important with all the basic amenities placed around the room. Thank you Little Tired but Clean which is more important.

Rooms spacious and all amenities for an overnight stay for a family available-cutlery, bowls, microwave, full size fridge, toiletries, ample towels and facewashers, extra blankets and pillows, hair dryer. Older style motel so a little outdated but still clean and comfortable. No cot available.

The external appearance reminded me of Schitt’s Creek. It could do with some prettying up! Also it’s always nice to be greeted by a smiling friendly reception person … hint hint.
