• James (10/5): - The place was clean and tidy. The room was spacious with a good set of basic facilities: split system aircon/heater, toaster, kettle, microwave, tv and bathroom. The location was good because it was a nice 5 minute walk into town.
• Paul (8/5): - We stayed at the Settlers Motor Inn for two nights room (No1) which was good size but a very tiny bathroom. The motel is on the main road on the edge of town on top of a grade so you can hear the trucks passing although the window was double glazed. That said the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Most of the other rooms were taken by workers in the area.

The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and there was even a sandwich press to make toasties. The parking was a bit odd. I wasn’t able to park in front of my room due to the configuration of the parking spaces. (It would mean being boxed in or blocking someone else from exiting). They were also only big enough in length for smaller vehicles.

I liked this place on a previous stay, which is why I booked it again. This time my room was dated, and the couch too low. I was also disappointed that UHT milk was provided, rather than the fresh milk offered at every other motel on this trip. On the plus side, my windscreen had been washed when I got in my car the next morning.
