Many thanks to Steve and Liz for their consideration and hospitality! - It was peaceful and tranquil and had river frontage which was just delightful. Lovely to sit on the jetty and watch the fish jumping and board meandering down the river. There were other guests there but we didn’t see them at all so we really felt like we had the place completely to ourselves. The hosts were very friendly and no request was too much for them. Our room was spacious and very well appointed (they had thought of EVERYTHING). The bed and lounge chairs were super comfortable and the outlook was so lovely!! We didn’t have dinner there as we attended an event, but the Continental Breakfast was comprehensive and absolutely delicious (we were also provided with a fruit bowl and cookies/cakes to enjoy with a cuppa). We are planning on another trip for our wedding anniversary, when we will get Steve to cook us dinner, and we will have more time to go kayaking, play tennis and croquet and make use of the spa bath. NOTHING!!

The hosts Liz and Steve were very welcoming and hospitable. We opted for the 3 course dinner and it was delicious. We were very happy with our stay and even got to enjoy a love kayak together. A lovely place to stay.

- Sarah (10/5): Great weekend away - Loved it. So peaceful and quiet. Very private rooms, looking out onto green grass and trees - such a nice escape from the city. Absolutely loved our three course meal - food came hot, steak cooked to perfection, the prawns were so yummy that some of our plates were suspiciously clean at the end. I really like having a big wardrobe so I can hang up clothes and not live out of the case, and it was even big enough to put the case away - so that was good. Thanks for having us!

We kayaked on the lazy river enjoying nature before we were served a delicious 3 course dinner prepared by Steve at our deck during sunset. The room was comfortable and had everything you need including a spa. The bed was a bit hard.

- Murray (10/5): We can confidently recommend the Lazy River. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. - The location of the Lazy River was superb. So beautiful. We used the on-site kayaks and went kayaking down the river which we had all to ourselves. It couldn't have been any better. I wish we had been able to stay longer. There's lots to do and see in the area.

We had a lovely, well-balanced dinner the Friday night. It was conveniently close to Pinjarra but felt secluded and was very relaxing. The little touches of luxury really added to the experience.

Respected our space though ! Perfect place to wind down and cut off from the day to day ! better than staying at a hotel ! In terms of pricing, there could have been fresh breakfast provided or the price should be reduced a bit.

We chose to have dinner with the owners and was treated to a personalized menu that was cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was noticeable and we had a awesome romantic night away. Our days included afternoon siestas and kayak paddling and swimming in the river which was safe and clean. Steve and Liz were delightful and efficient. On our last balmy evening we arranged for our dinner to be served on our room verandah. Steve discussed the menu in advance and the meal was well cooked and great value.
