• Michael (7/5): Well located for our trip, decent value for money. - Clean basic cabin, decent value for money. Some "family noise" from small children nearby (woke my daughter), but nothing too bad. More blankets in each bedroom would have been nice.
• Cherise (1/5): Don’t waste your money staying here. - The river was nice The lady at the reception was so rude, the cabin was absolutely filthy, when we complained about it the cleaning staff came and confronted us about the complaint. The lady at the front (Dee) lied and said she’d give a partial refund for the stay but then decided not to once we left.

• JACQUIE (8/5): Overall it was a good stay. - Great stay. Very clean and tidy and wonderfully quiet. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything you could need. Outdoor table and chairs were nice to soak up the late afternoon sun. Only cons are the extremely small bedrooms. Tiny bathroom basin with no bench area and no shelf in the bathroom to put anything. A shelf could easily be put above the toilet. A small TV with very poor sound.

• Daniel (8/5): Beautiful location and value for money. - Easy check in, beautiful location, friendly staff, good price point compared to 5 minutes further into Bright. Can fit a family of 6 into a two bedroom cabin comfortably. The shower was hard to use for the kids, stove/oven pretty dated, not major issues though.
• Simon (7/5): Lovely, comfortable stay right by the beautiful Ovens river. - The location right by the river is amazing! Beds were super comfortable. It had all the basic info you would need in the kitchen. The cabin is in need of a deep clean. It was very dusty and the shower needs a scrub.

The surfaces were also dusty which made me uncomfortable especially because we had our toddler with us. My cousin ls stayed at the same holiday park in a cabin on the other side and their place was much cleaner. Otherwise location was good but you can't really walk anywhere- need to drive.

They put the broom, mop and bucket inside the cupboard when we hang our clothes The shelfing ( top and bottom ) inside the cupboard was dirty and I need to wipe it a few times. The floor was dirty.

Very unprofessional behaviour as we were not allowed to have the keys for the cabin which was booked and paid by us as a gift to our friends as we requested to have the keys for their cabin because they were running late and were reaching there in the late evening but the lady on the reception refused to give us the keys and her behaviour was so rude that we were annoyed and uncomfortable on the arrival at the facility. Also not recommended if someone is booking through booking.com as they don’t change the dates if you got an emergency as they say because you booked through the third party that’s why they can’t change the dates..

Cabin listing said it had an oven and clothes rack which it had neither. Bought food to be cooked in oven which were unable to do and the clothes rack would have been handy to hang ski gear on. Managed but would have been nice to know to bring a clothes rack and food that didn’t require an oven.

At the base of mt buffalo it’s so convenient, so lovely to wake up to the river and the sounds of nature. It suited our needs perfectly. Check in was easy & staff so lovely & helpful. Have had nothing but good things to say about this place and the town itself. Will definitely be returning! 😊 heated sheets were a plus for those chilly mornings

The park itself is a bit run down in some parts but did not bother us as we were literally just there to sleep.

The cabin smelled terrible...so bad that we decided to cut our stay short. I'm not sure if you could generalise this to other cabins, or if we just got unlucky. Also, at almost $1,000 for three nights, the accommodation was generally basic (small sofa if all beds were taken and mediocre bed).

Easy walk to the local hotel for dinner, nice location along the river. Dee in reception very helpful. Would have been nice to have a place to sit outside the cabin. Bedrooms very small.
