• lynda (10/5): Great location, clean and comfortable - Good size room. Great location, close to restaurants and river. Hamilton is a lovely suburb, with village-like charm. Free parking. Only stopped for one night prior to going on a cruise, but would happily return.

• Jacqueline (6/5): - A tired property in need of a refurbish. Quite noisy - close to main road and guests coming and going, presumably to catch flights. Whilst microwave and toaster provided there is no cutlery or crockery (except mugs & glasses). A tea towel is provided but no washing up liquid. The shuttle service is excellent although it still cost $50+ to get taxi to motel if coming from airport. Staff very friendly and helpful, motel close to river and a selection of eating places close by.

• Kristin (8/5): - It was a great space to make home for a family recovering from a long flight to Brisbane. Convenient and comfortable with lots of sleeping space available. Road construction, of no fault of the property, occured at weird times of the night, but with the jet lag, it wasn't too inconvenient, just noisy.
• Kristin (8/5): - Clean and comfortable, many options for sleeping. In the center of the building, made for additional noise around people arriving and departing. Gaps around the door and thin walls made noise transmission and cooler temperatures inevitable, especially the Friday night crowds from local establishments. Was great to be close to it all though, and at the price point, really cannot complain!

Will never stay here again - and outrageous to consider you promote this property as quiet! And charge $200 p/n An absolute disgrace Expedia. I feel trust and integrity in your booking site has been compromised .
• Glen (10/5): - Plenty of coffee shops and a pub nearby. There is a choice of bus or ferry transport to the city.
• Barbara (4/5): - Shuttle service to airport was good. Bathroom and bed was clean and comfortable. However the hotel is way overdue of being in need of a complete renovation, very dirty in places and run down, nothing like the photos. Won’t be staying again.

• Karen (4/5): - The motel is very dated and requires upgrading. Lacks maintenance and needs a considerable amount of money spent on it. Shower drain needs unblocking. VERY NOISY. Right under the flight path. Boy racers enjoyed keeping everyone awake. The lady on reception was very obliging. Man dropped us off free of charge to the airport. Great meal at the hotel across the road.

• JeffS758 (8/5): Ok value for money - My room was spotless. Shower was hot and bed was comfy. All I needed for a night. Across the road is Dan Murphy’s and very close is a popular pub, Italian, Indian, middle eastern, Japanese and Vietnamese restaurants. The only thing I didn’t like was the noise. There’s massive roadworks going on and I needed to sleep during the day but couldn’t. No mention of this when I booked. But it was only from 7am-4pm so wouldn’t bother most. Overall yep I’d go back as it’s good value. There are stairs if you get a room up top so keep this in mind.

• lachkeira (8/5): Basic but good value - This is a nice basic motel perfect for a night or two if you need to be around the local area. Bluey world is not too far. It’s also only 15 mins to the port of Brisbane for cruise departures and same to the airport. There are many different room styles and is great value. Water pressure was good and hot, beds are clean and comfortable, it was a quiet area too. The Hamilton pub is a great venue very close and has a sports bar, restaurant and pokies. Cafes and a Woolworths/IGA are not too far away. All in all good value, just basic

• Elle (4/5): - The bed was ok. There was a microwave but no plates, no spoons, no forks, no knives. There was a teaspoon. A bare light, carpet with marks - all in all, just adequate for one night. It was also noisy with both aircraft and street noise. I had to call twice for access instructions as my first request was ignored. So I can’t recommend it.

Free airport shuttle. Friendly staff. Plenty eating places but most slightly upmarket. Hamilton Hotel nearby very good service and reasonably priced.

The only fresh air available was to leave the door open which views along the balcony and does not have an insect screen. The air conditioner was an old rattly single unit in the bathroom. Communications are terrible, I sent messages via email and expedia and never received a reply.

The room was very clean and welcoming. The room had everything that we needed. The staff are so kind and check in and out were easy. I loved the family vibe of the place, I would definitely book again.

Made a last minute booking for my mum and sister and was able to get a hold of someone that was able to get a late check in organized. On top of that a courtesy airport service which arrived on time. They will be sure to use your services again when they pass by Brisbane again. THANK YOU!

• BarrellRider (8/5): Older Motel but Comfortable - The room was OK, nothing flash about this place but it's comfortable and close to restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower was good. It got a bit chilly at night so put the heater on which was inset into the wall, no grill but heated the room well. There was a small window at the back of the room which had curtain hooks/rail but no curtain, so let in a lot of light so I stuffed an oversized cushion into the frame to block the light. The main door does not fit squarely into the door frame so bit of draught, but the heater made up for that. Stayed for 5 nights but never saw anyone at reception, had to ask the cleaner for another toilet roll and tea/coffee which was readily given, but I think if you are staying for 5 days this should have been checked and promptly replenished without having to ask. They also only supply 4 tiny UHF milk - for 5 days?! Went and bought my own milk. The Hamilton Hotel across the road does really nice meals & very good service. Motel is across the road from Brisbane River, so nice & close to go for a walk. Eat Street is 30 minutes walk from motel.

Lethal aircon that hasn’t been cleaned by the look of it since install a few years ago . Wiring is third world standard with leads all over the place in our room . No towels supplied we arrived late after a long flight so as no one lives on site could sort . Having said that the shower was hot

Close by to Cafe's and Post Office too. Owners were very kind and helpful. We got to keep our luggage in storage before our check in time. And they were so king to drive us to the airport for free. Will be back again.
• Antonietta (10/5): - The place was tidy and clean. Just what we needed, bed and shower. Close to City Cat to go into the City. Hamilton Tavern across the road to have a meal and cafe's close by. And the owners were so kind to drive us to the International Cruise Terminal for a small fee and to the Domestic Airport for free. Thank you. Will be back again, hopefully soon.

Motel is currently under refurb but is clean and comfortable however, it the owners that make the place lovely and listened to all our requests and also arranged a lift to the cruise terminal for a small fee in their spacious van. Definately will be staying again.

• Andrew (4/5): - Don't be fooled. Property does not resemble the photos. The security on the door is weak and I didn't feel safe. There seemed to be a lot of movement outside late into the night. There was a searing light coming in through the large gaps in the curtains. I tried to build a pillow wall to close the gaps but didn't work. The curtains are not sufficient for the windows. You get what you pay for. Wouldn't stay here again

• Louis (6/5): - This is a typical 3 star motel and we were satisfied with our stay. The location is handy, fairly close to public transportation (free airport shuttle) and a few good restaurants are nearby. We arrived earlier than expected but were told we had to wait for check in or pay $50 for early check in. On this trip we stayed at a dozen different places, evertime we arrived early we were given a room, so we were a bit disappointed with the Riverview Motel.
• Claire (10/5): Convenient to airport - Easy check in when out of hours. WiFi code given. Easy car parking. Ground floor much easier if you have heavy suitcases. Cafes close by. Comfy bed.
• Katharine (6/5): - This old style motel is cheap so it is unfair to criticise it for being a bit frayed around the edges. We checked in after 5:00pm and there was no one to meet and greet. We got our key from the box, but not the wifi password, which was frustrating.

We really appreciate the complementary service to the airport. The local area is easily accessible for walking and transportation to the city.
