Loved that they have kept original features like a frosted window at the kitchen so there's light but nobody can peek n. U can't even tell it's a hotel from the road and I just waked across the street to the beach. My room was right at the pool and I had a screen door I left open for the breeze and the gentle ocean waves to sleep by at night. Somehow, even so close to the beach, it was quiet. Covered parking!!! I will b staying again. A little pricey but so is everything n the area.

The parking space was difficult for the 4WD vehicles & the spot light that came on directly in my eyes when I was parking my vehicle which cause a distraction & unfortunately assisted in me not being able to notice how close my passanger side was to the post resulting in damage to the vehicle.

There were ants in the kitchen from the day we arrived, not a huge deal but just needed to be smart with keeping food secure. The aircon in our room only pointed to the ground because the flap was broken but at least still cooled the room. None of these these will change my mind to stay there again though.

Our room had a sewerage stench in the bathroom coming up from the drain- drains covered with mat/towels to assist but didn't help. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. Extremely minimal changes from >30yrs ago when last visited as a young girl on family holidays.

Parked outside the room door and was recommended the surf club for dinner so we walked along the beach and had a sundowner before dinner. Great location although there are animals in the sea you need to avoid.

Jeff (10/5): - An older style motel which was beautifully presented. The bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. If the weather had been a little warmer the lovely clean pool was only metres away. The wifi was only okay and a little intermittent. The parking was very tight and a little difficult to negotiate. The gentleman at reception was polite and very helpful.
