When I first walked into my room (21) it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke Room was quite dark, three light globes out in main room, one light globe out in bathroom. Pubic hair under toilet seat when seat was lifted. Lifted up the seat off of the toilet, and it was broken, came loose in my hand. Placed it to the side of the bowl. Next day after my room was cleaned for the second night, seat was still there, had not been moved or fixed. Disappointing, have stayed there many many times for work as the location is excellent. Facility looks like it needs some love and attention.

The reception area is a mess and so many unfished items showing and then the carpet in the hall walls would be a tripping hazard its carpet tiles from the 60's. The room was very musty smelly and dusty toilet seat broken and the bed was so uncomfortable and the towels were so thin you'd be better using paper towel instead. This place is so dirty from the outside and the basement is the give away that this place needs to be spring cleaned and remove all rubbish and don't open until its all finished not worth $100 a night and we paid over $200+ a total rip off

Dave was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful when I realised our office staff or, more likely the booking agency, booked the wrong dates. The room was spacious , clean and very modern. Close proximity to several restaurants , a pub and a little further was a well stocked IGA.

- Deborah (8/5): Great value for a work trip. Central to Griffith CBD - Very clean room, great for an overnight stay whilst travelling for work When I turned the room lights on in the morning, they made a dreadfull noise
- Jacquelin (5/5): Was good to try somewhere different while I was passing through town. However, won’t be rushing back to stay - Clean and tidy. Staff were hospitable. The blow dryer didn’t work when I desperately needed one. Luckily I packed my hair straightener as it was late and no one at reception to answer my call.

- Julie (7/5): - The room was spacious and clean.Located on the main st,close to everything. Having to run shower for 5 mins until the hot water comes through,and there's a funky smell as you enter the foyer and no aircon in passage ways.

- Tim (1/5): We didn’t stay. - All surfaces in the room were dirty or sticky to touch. The room smelt like off seafood. Curtains were hanging of the rails. The replacement room which we requested was any better. The sheets hadn’t been changed and the pillows had a large brown stain on it. When we told staff we were moving on he got defensive and was too happy.
- Italytwentynineteen (2/5): Don’t bother - Our room smelt like someone had cooked a seafood dinner ( and not a good one ). Every surface was dirty and sticky to touch. We went back to reception to arrange an alternative room , and once again it was dirty. It didn’t even appear that the bed linen had been changed and one of the pillow cases had a large brown sweat stain or similar. The man at reception had zero empathy and was even annoyed and started to get a defensive when we stated we were moving on. Absolutely would not recommend.

- kizzys2026 (8/5): Pretty Good. - Location is great. Staff are friendly. Price was reasonable. Had everything you need. Beds were comfy. It could do with some improvements like the a/c in the room isn't the best, there were some stains on the bed covers. Apart from those little things, overall it was a nice place to stay.

- James (4/5): Avoid - Good location Nowhere near as nice as the photos would suggest. Noticeable as soon as you walk in, lobby photos must have been taken years ago. Very rundown. Room was advertised as “internal” room, meaning no window, which I expected. However, because it was 45 degrees outside, I needed the AC on all night. The unit was super loud and rattled terribly the whole night. Additionally, hot water didn’t work at all the first night (assume it was all used up) so had a cold shower after an 8 hour drive. Will never stay again.

- gdt3261079 (4/5): 4 stars Not - My wife slipped in the bath could have been a injures.No where to place the hand tower.water damage on the bathroom door.we also had guests cockroachs crawled out ofvthe kettle in the morning. Not one but 6 of them. Will not stay here again.

- Robert (7/5): Cannot give a full assessment owing to short stay but we would return again some time in the future - The time spent was very short but as we had stayed at this motel in the past we found that it was just as enjoyable. The squeaky floor boards.
- Sarah (4/5): It’s a tired motel, in a good spot, but certainly not ‘grand’. - The location is great, parking is secure and it was clean. The bed was comfortable . The street noise at night with cars hooning up and down made it difficult to sleep, the shower head was spurting out and the pipes made a loud noise when shower being used, the skylight was dirty and needs a good clean, the aircon made an annoying rattling sound so had to turn it off to sleep.
