- Peter (8/5): - The interior was very good. The exterior not so good and didn’t do the interior justice. Had we not booked and paid, we would not have stayed there, which would have been a pity as the room was very good.

- Martine (8/5): We were very comfortable and happy with the comfort of the bed especially. - Other than limited toilet paper, no soap and only one hand towel on arrival, we were happy. We did have to keep asking for toilet paper, not because it was a souvenir. That souvenir message in the bathroom is tacky. More toilet paper and better quality soap including a locally made product to highlight the region would do wonders. Plastic flower pots are cheap and could be replaced with better quality ones.

Comfortable beds and great views out of each bedroom. Has a downstairs toilet in the laundry which is great as you don't have to walk upstairs. The shower in the main bathroom incorporates a corner spa but the height of the tiles makes it difficult to access the shower for those with mobility issues.

It was a very short walk to Metung Hotel, coffee shops, bakery,general store and pharmacy. A decent pool for the kids to swim on and a nice little park across the road. Liked everything
- Max (8/5): Excellent location but reserve a downstairs room. - Right next to downtown. Walking distance to shops, cafe's and hotel. In fact we walked everywhere during our two day stay. Room was a good size. However, there were no cooking facilities apart from the microwave. There is room to install an induction cooktop which would be great to have the option of eating in. As the rooms had no view to speak of you are just as well to reserve a ground level unit and avoid carting everything upstairs. Bedside lamps were too low and too small, not the best for reading in bed.

Paul was a great host and everything is in an easy walking distance from this place- the RSL, the pub, the bakery and the cafe for breakie the next morning. Be sure to go to the RSL for evening drinks if you’re there on a Thursday!
