Please note that there is a 1.5% charge when you pay with a Credit card & Debit cards. *RESTAURANT OPEN- Three Blue Ducks. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday. Lunch from 11.30am Saturday-Sunday. Dinner 5pm - 8.30pm Thursday to Sunday night. Sundowners 3-5pm Available Thursday-Sunday (Snack Menu). **Please note that working hours may change during peak season.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Laura (8/5): Short Stay - Comfortable hotel style rooms, with all the mod cons as you would expect. A short drive to Bellingen which was handy. No body wash in the rooms, which was a little odd. The dinner in the Blue Duck Restaurant was ok, but nothing amazing for what we paid. We felt the restaurant tried too hard to be fancy, but failed in the quality of the food. The brisket was salty & fatty. For what we paid for our two rooms, we felt it was all over priced.

Had to ask for extra milk.Tea, coffee, cutlery etc were very limited Could not park adjacent to room & non-complimentary food & drink items were very expensive.limited space to put suitcase etc in room & nowhere to put clothes etc in the bathroom.

We didn't try the restaurant this time, but by all accounts it looks exceptional. Only a very minor thing - The shower design was such that the water gets out onto the floor of the bathroom and into the entry area too easily.

Julie (7/5): Lovely place to stay (but skip the restaurant) - The glamping tent was comfortable and well equipped, with a luxurious bathroom. The location was peaceful with a lovely view across the property. The lady on the front desk was exceptionally helpful with maps and suggestions for places to visit. The Sunday roast in the Three Blue Ducks was poor quality and very expensive. The food had clearly been prepared hours earlier and warmed up again. The chicken was dry and unappetising. The vegetables were just ok. The Yorkshire pudding was burned on the outside, heavy and cold on the inside - inedible. The young waitstaff were friendly enough but not interested when we mentioned the food, beyond a cursory "I'll let the kitchen know". Really embarrassingly bad. The following night we ate at the pub (Federal Hotel) - excellent and half the price.

Anne (7/5): If money is not a consideration then I think most people would think this motel is ok - I didn’t. - Good location and lovely outlook over to the mountains. This is only my personal opinion, others may think differently. I think it was overpriced, I was expecting luxury for that price and I would not consider this motel luxurious. We have stayed in motels at half the price or less and had a bigger room. The mattress topper made the bed way too soft and even increased the height of my pillow, hence I had a sore neck for 3 days. There was no table and chairs in the room. The toilet roll holder was broken. The sheets were too soft, not that lovely crisp cotton I expect in a motel. While the restaurant food was tasty, the price was a shock to the senses and not enough of it to fill you. We had to have dessert as we were still hungry and we never usually have dessert.

Waan (5/5): The restaurant was rubbish and way overpriced. Go eat somewhere else - Air con and view of countryside Not worth the price for motel posing as luxury hotel. Rooms adjoined and thin walls. Three blue ducks was also rubbish. Overpriced, overcooked, and just really surprised me as to how low the quality and taste of the food was for the prices. Worser food than the bakery in town.

Went to moretrouble for me to give me a more accessible room. 😁 Chair in room was a bit low for an older person. Bed was a bit high for an older person. Toilet seat was sitting back a bit on the bowl and pinched my leg a couple of times. Otherwise all excellent. Beautifully finished room.

Rob (10/5): Comfortable stay in Bellingen - Delightful room with good amenities, including a coffee pod espresso machine. Very comfortable bed overlooking the Bellingen valley in a very peaceful, well-maintained environment. I was particularly impressed by the hotel's policy of no parking on the valley side of the apartments to allow its guests a clear view over the beautiful scenery. If time had allowed, I would have preferred to stay 2 nights.

If you don't need kitchen facilities, everything else is excellent. Beautiful view, great restaurant attached to the facilities, lovely pool area. We were initially wanting a place with full kitchen facilities and a full sized fridge.

I went to the pool and the clientele were either making out in the pool or kids being allowed to bomb anyone and taking over the pool. Blokes drinking in the pool. Very weird. I only swam for about 15 mins.

aguiargustavo (10/5): Lodge muito legal! - Muito perto da cidade de Bellingen, no caminho para o Dorrigo National Park, próximo as piscinas naturais dos rios da região. No lodge não tem café da manhã, mas no centro de Bellingen que fica a no máximo 5 minutos de carro tem diversas opções para café, almoço e jantar. No lodge tem uma restaurante muito bom para jantar, reservamos para as duas noites que ficamos, mas na cidade tem outras opções. Nada do que reclamar, se faltou algo foi o café da manhã no local, mas não fez diferença alguma para a gente.

Tracy (8/5): Beautiful luxe option in Bellingen. Nice pool area. - We were only passing through and stayed just the one night. Room was very comfortable and we had a lovely green outlook on the terrace. Grounds were lovely and you can feed the resident alpacas. We didn't get to try the restaurant so can't comment. Note it is a little way out of town and road is too busy to walk in. Was hoping to eat at the restaurant the evening we stayed so would have been helpful upon booking to know it wasn't open for dinner or breakfast the next day.

Antje (2/5): - The hotel was super disappointing, mainly due to the incredible unfriendly staff at reception. Well, one staff was very nice but the other staff should definitely not work in hospitality. The hotel rooms we booked were very expensive and you would expect someone who is at least not unfriendly at reception. Even my partner and kids said to me that she is very arrogant and rude. On the bright side the restaurant was very good. Staff unfriendly. No real privacy, hotel is layed out like a motel. Its noisy when people pass by your hotel room and you can hear every word they say.

Michael (7/5): Would definitely visit the restaurant again but probably not stay at the accommodation - Restaurant definitely although it is run separately. If the weather was nicer the view would have been something even thought it was summer there was a fog That the pool lights were off by 7pm and the pool gates were locked. Yes it was drizzling rain but one family from Canberra were on a swimming holiday their kids were ever disappointed. The advertised pool bar area was not operating The Hisense smart tv was not smart and we couldn’t get to load. No staff around to help. While looked at the tv discovered a bit of dust bunnies behind it. The hole in our bathroom towel was a disappointment Then the quiet peaceful area of Bellingen where we were hoping for a good night sleep was disturbed by a water heater going on and off regularly during the night Little touches like an umbrella to get from our room to the restaurant would have been nice
