In bathroom, double power point has a switch that has a broken spring, you cannot tell if it is off or on. And the shower doors, the clear one has run off it's track causing the door to jam when opening or closing. Otherwise a great stay.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - My husband was greeted by a women who smelt of smoke.... the lock on the door was a passage lock, the shower tray had mould spots, the tea cup had a dry ring fo coffee on the lip and the saucer and we have both come away with bites in our bodies from sleeping I the bed.... the layout of units to cars paces did not help with the exiting of adjoining unit around 4am as they packed up and yelled at each other in their room, as they walked past our room and packed their car (including multiples doors being slammed). All in all the location was fabulous and if the facility could be relayed out and cleaned it would attract a higher price tag.

Get some LED down lights, not only will you save on power, your guests will be able to see. But overall although a bit dated it was a pleasant stay, just those damn lights.

Bed is wonderful with thick duvet and electric mattress heater for this cold weather, very comfortable. Not new and fairly basic but roomy and comfortable, we would stay here again.

It was hard to fill the kettle there was no milk for coffee or tea. The traffic noise was loud. All in all wasnt value for money.

• Wendy (8/5): A Quiet Motel. - This is a quiet, comfortable motel which is easy to find and in a convenient location for most of Geelong's tourist attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean with plenty of space.

Parking is extremely narrow and can be difficult to maneuver when full, a lot crammed into a little space. It really is a trip back to the 70s in style, but comfortable enough and fine for a couple of nights just to sleep. Big TV in room.

• redgum (4/5): Not Told of traffic Racket on Freeway No Sleep. - I began work at 4.00AM and completed my days work. Then a two hour drive to Motel to check in. Then after a good meal at a Café and looking forward to a good nights sleep we turned in around 9.00PM. Unaware of the night ahead we could just lay there trying to sleep through the racket caused by the traffic, Just when there was a quiet time for a moment and you almost nod off, when another truck would come thundering past our window and then you would be awake again. This went on all night, next morning I felt worse than before I went to bed. Honestly I could have slept as well in the car. How much should you have to pay for a good nights sleep? When driving long hours, a deep sleep without interference is essential. In my opinion to have good health you need good sleep, without it, drivers are a hazard on our roads. This won't happen again, better to stay home in our own bed and travel the extra two hours next day. At least this will reduce the risk of driving while fatigued.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to Kardinia park - Very nice staff and good size room. Stayed here for the cricket since it was so close to the Kardinia Park stadium!
• Verified traveler (4/5): - We booked a room for 2 adults and 4 children when we arrived they said if we liked we could push the 3 single beds for the kids together I stated that we had booked for 4 kids! I said on the booking it also said there would be a sofa bed, they apologised and said sorry we haven't made it up. I said that's ok if u give us some linen I could do that which they did. When we got into the room the sofa bed was facing the queen bed with no room to pull out. There wasn't any room at all to rearrange the furniture to even get the sofa bed into a position to extend it. It was bizarre!! In the end we ended up taking the mattress off the sofa bed and putting it on the floor, lucky we were only staying 1 night.
