• Steph and Russell (5/5): Felt our stay was overpriced compared to other similar places. - Some aspects of the room were very tired (couch, some chairs, table) Plus, no road noise as we were at the rear of the motel. Cleanliness was good.

The room was a good size which included a small table and two chairs so no having to sit on the bed. Bathroom was lovely and clean. The staff were very helpful and very accommodating!

• Linda (7/5): Overall we were grateful to have somewhere clean and tidy to stay. - As mentioned above the rooms were clean and tidy, beds were so comfy and staff were super friendly. Mirror in the bathroom was unusually low to the vanity which annoyed us all. Lounge leather couch needs updating and for 4 people staying, only 3 people could lounge on the couch at a time. You need an extra couch single chair in the lounge. We ended up taking a mattress from the bedroom on our last night there.

• Melanie (7/5): It was accommodating for our budget. - Liked how the dishes were taken away each day and new ones were replaced, this was very helpful as we didn't have a sink to wash them in and I don't believe in washing your dishes in the bathroom sink. I was disappointed that when I booked the room I didn't understand that there was no cooking facilities. We only had a jug and a microwave. There was an odd sewage smell coming from the drains but once we had a shower it disappeared.

• Rueben (1/5): Disappointed - From the photos online, it looked good. I arrived at the Motel around 6pm and no one was at reception. I checked the reception time which shows 0830am - 1900pm, so I called the after hours number to no avail. I tried to contact the mobile number that was provided online and emailed too, still nothing. I then asked for complete refund of booking and got a quick response to that request via email. I didn't speak to anyone at Amethyst until approx. 2030pm when I got a phone call asking if I still require the Accommodations to which I stated that I didn't and had found lodging elsewhere and that I had requested a complete refund of a non refundable room due to not being able to access the accommodations at the time I had arrived!

• Cecilia (9/5): Great, second time here. - All of the above and Julie was so accommodating to my requests to meet my mothers needs, great customer service. Fridge was switched off, leaving a fowl smell and it appeared as if it didn’t work at all after switching it on.

The mini fridge requires another leg as it was leaning abit. In a nice clean tidy room, small things stand out. Perhaps look at an elevator?? assuming we were on a ground floor. I may have overlooked this. My colleague was a little immobile.

• Charlotte (9/5): Bang for your buck. Highly recommend! - Location is superb. Just across the road from the mall. Right off the main motorway. Minutes away from supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants etc. Ample parking. Despite the busy location, peaceful environment. Loved EVERYTHING but this one thing. In our room (808), the single bed squeaked. As light sleepers it kept us up/woke us easily when the person sleeping on it would so much as turn. It was the ONLY downside in the room. But bc it affected our sleep, it was a bit of a bummer for all of us. The beds were otherwise comfortable. And ample spare blankets were made of use. Also another thing, not as major. But as the sliding doors to outside can only be locked from the inside ie no key lock feature from the outside, it made travelling to and from the car from the end of the corridor down to the reception & back around to the carpark a little bit of a hassle. Esp when the side exit in the hallway was locked after a certain time. Would be great if the sliding doors to outside could either also be unlocked w the swipe card (probably expensive though) or with a simple key. Otherwise no biggie. There was also a damp smell in the corridor which may have been from a leak. But the rooms had no smell.

• Scott (10/5): Quiet, clean, comfortable and, affordable luxury :) - This was my forth stay at Amethst Court. It is truly one of the best places I ever stay with. This is pure luxury at a very reasonable, budget friendly price. I would like to take the shower home with me. Very hard to have to get out of. The cleanliness, comfort and, touch of luxury, never fails to deliver. The staff were also amazing. Friendly and very helpful My short stay. To stay a bit longer next time is my goal :) To be fair though, the kitchen facilities are limited. Ideal for short or overnight stays. Not a complaint. Just an overview. Great if you intend to dine out or have meals from outside sources.

• Sherron (7/5): Other then the dialysis bags we had a lovely stay, will definitely be back - The bed was soooooooo comfy close to all the shops, the receptionist and the shamazing housekeepers. the room was just right for myself and my 4 year old son I did not like seeing the dialysis bags at the drain on the ground on the side of the building . That’s disgusting 🤮 they should have been emptied and disposed of straight away.

Very great place to stay, close location to shopping centre & Bob is amazing ! So lovely indeed. Would definitely recommend staying here again I couldn’t fault it :)
