The free tub is useful for those leaving things behind as well. Something similar for the fridge would also be great (but perhaps there was and I didnt see it) The breakfast was a little pricey, especially given that it's a hostel. But they would leave the odd plate odd pastry or two out for free which was nice.

The bed was comfy and the room was quiet so I was very happy! Unfortunately I was too busy to really enjoy the on-site facilities and activities but they looked amazing and the place had a great vibe! Good convenient location, excellent parking facilities and no hassles with late check in! ~

- Yassine (10/5): One of the best hostel experiences I have ever lived. - One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The place was cozy, clean, staff were so nice, especially the italian receptionist, common areas were so well organized, the room (4 beds with ensuite) was very clean and amenities were provided. Shout out to the housekeeper for making the place clean and tidy. I would for sure come back to YHA. That I couldn’t stay here more time

- Daniela (8/5): Good Value, Great Location - The accommodation is simple, and the room has the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable, and overall the room was clean. The location is excellent — within just a few minutes’ walk you can find restaurants, bars, and the main beach. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. It would be nice if it included a few small extras that could really improve the overall guest experience, such as a full-length mirror or a complimentary bottle of water. However, this is not a major issue. Also, the Wi-Fi signal in the room was very poor.

Good selection of activities on offer, facilities including laundry and internet room, and surfboard hire. Room is very sparse - could have done with a few more shelves/table to put things. Shower gel was empty. Fan in bathroom was unnecessarily loud. Both nights I was there I could hear a thumping bassline of dance music until about midnight, but that might have been because it was Anzac Day weekend. Wifi in the room barely worked.

Room was a good size, but as a private room (and over £100 per night) some hooks or a shelf is needed, our things had to be put on plastic bags on the floor! Also, I asked at reception if we could have clean towels, as we were there for 4 nights, and was told if we wanted a clean one to wash it ourselves! Later the cleaning staff gave us new towels, even they couldn't understand why reception had said this!

- Hugh (8/5): - Lovely open-air common areas. Friendly staff and close to great cafe's and an easy walk to beach. The kitchen is locked overnight and opens at 7am. I like early mornings, so this felt a bit restricted.

- Filippo (5/5): ottimo soggiorno peccato per il rispetto delle regole che non c’è in alcuni casi - Staff, struttura, posizione mancanza di rispetto degli orari
- Caroline (7/5): - Stayed for 2 nights as a group of 3 in a private room. Check in was easy and staff were friendly at reception. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Location is great as only a short walk into Byron. Large kitchen facilities and pool. 2 of the 3 shower heads in the upstairs bathrooms were damaged or limescaled such that it was difficult to shower and in general the bathroom was grubby and did not feel the cleanest. One afternoon we were there we were abruptly informed by staff that the kitchen was getting a deep-clean and we had to vacate the area - bearing in mind this was c. 2pm and we had arrived back with groceries to make our lunch - no prior notice was given regarding this and the timing was awkward as several other guests were in the same position as us, landing back to the hostel with bags of food to find they were unable to use the kitchen. Similarly both mornings we were staying the upstairs bathrooms were closed for cleaning (noted that there are more bathrooms downstairs) - it appeared to not be organised as efficiently as it could be in terms of timing the cleaning.

- angelo (5/5): Byron Dream Bay - In linega generale il soggiorno non e andato male mi rendo conto che sia un ostello ma indipendentemente da questo credo che alcune cose urge rivederle ( anche perche purche richiedano poca manutenzione, fanno una grande differenza) i ragazzi dello staff molto disponibili. la struttura e veramente vicina sia alle spiagge che al centro commerciale e in una zona tranquilla lontana dal casino del centro l organizzazione dei servizi esterni ed interni e gestita molto bene ! la pulizia delle aree comuni come la cucina mi ha colto di sorpresa ( non e scontato in un hostel frequentato da backpacker) la piscina va pulita assolutamente ! le stanze sono il problema piu grande : ce bisogno assolutamente delle : -tende da letto per la privacy - assolutamente una lampada da letto - e osceno che non ci siano prese di corrente vicino ad ogni letto ( sopra e sotto)

Not sure how long other peoples stuff had been in the shower and toilet, as it was none of anyone's in the room. Only one washing machine which people lined up for.

- Um die Welt (4/5): Würde bei YHA nicht mehr buchen. Preis Leistung stimmt absolut nicht. - Zwang zur Angabe von Daten aller Reisender. Keine Übersicht über gebuchte Leistungen. Parkplatz wurde 3fach berechnet. Personal nicht kompetent Probleme zu lösen.
- Sophia (7/5): Beautiful memories made this weekend and lots of people met - Spacious, lots of chilling area, clean kitchen, comfy beds I guess the bathrooms could be somewhat bigger and there were queues for each bathroom on each floor
