- Rebekah (7/5): Beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, well located historical manor. Opt for a bigger room if budget allows. - Beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, wonderful location. Loved that there were communal spaces outside of the room to read or eat. The room was smaaaaall, the bathroom was smaller. Nowhere to unpack my toiletries or hang clothes. Was constantly playing Tetris with my luggage and belongings.

- Marta (10/5): It was a great choice! - After two weeks in a camper van, this charming room with a comfortable bed allowed us to recharge before the long journey back to Poland. A beautiful, atmospheric building with many amenities, a very helpful owner (the possibility to leave our suitcases until the evening and freshen up before the flight), and a great area with plenty of restaurants. Nothing
- Dorota (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully restored house with soul in the heart of Ponsonby district. Around full of atmospheric restaurants and pubs. Our flight back to Europe was very late at night. The owner, a very nice person, let us use the hotel until late evening. Thank you for your hospitality and nice stay :)

Prego restaurant just down the road was a bonus, we ate there both nights.
- Caroline (8/5): Great location, but unfortunately no parking. Well appointed and very clean. - Excellent location. Room was well appointed and very clean. The linen was good quality. The lady taking care of the property was very helpful. No parking. The bed was very soft and the pillows were lumpy. The bathroom products were mediocre.

- Jill (8/5): Very good -
- Regína (9/5): Superb - Loved our stay. Had two rooms one in the main house and one garden room. Love this neighborhood as well. Nice common garden and kitchen
The beds were comfortable. The bunk beds not full length though. Had an issue with the aircondition in one room that wasn't really dealt with but we managed to use one controller in both rooms.

- Max (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Livny (8/5): Very good - The place is sweet. Our little cottage was very quiet. The garden was beautiful and inviting. Having a shared kitchen was good though we did not use it, nor did we use much of the small kitchen in the cottage. The location was fantastic and we enjoyed the many dining options within walking distance and the historic, artsy look and feel. There is no staff on site and communication was not easy. Questions sent through tge Booking app were answered fully and politely but with big time lags. There was no indication who to contact in case of an emergency. I did have the manager's phone number but was reluctant to call.
- Jacob (8/5): Location and view of the city. - Location and view from the room. The charm of the manor. The terrace of our room. Als the possibility to shower after checking out when flight leaves in the evening. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants in the street. The small sink in the bathroom. Though the kitchenette’s sink made up for that.
- Fiona (9/5): Great house in great location. - In a beautiful location with lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. There was a lovely garden to sit in and a great shared kitchen with everything you would need to cook a meal if you wanted. There was also tea and coffee provided. The owner and house keeper were super friendly and helpful. It was very enjoyable stay.
- Michele (4/5): Think long and hard before staying here . - The location is good The owner changed the room we booked .Be very careful as the room types vary enormously. We had a suite ? Which we did not book and it was on a very busy road and we could not pull the curtains back as people walking past could look right into our room . Our room should have been a premium queen room with access to a terrace . The owner shouted at me and was very rude and disputed the room we had booked .
- Dorothy (10/5): Perfect comfort and perfect location. - Superbly comfortable bed and very friendly host. Everything was great.
- Phu (8/5): Very good -
- Jacob (9/5): Perfect for exploring Auckland and the neighborhood - The charm and atmosphere. The location and the view from the room. The neighborhood is very cute with cafes, restaurants and shops. Very friendly host! The sink in bathroom was small..
- Greg (9/5): Loved the relaxed welcome and atmosphere - Great location, comfortable and really relaxed place to stay Bathroom was really small but just a minor note
- Wyley (8/5): Very good - Great location, clean. No parking, rooms not ready at check in.
- Jillian (8/5): Great location for short stay -restaurants and cafes close by - Great location, charming house and beautiful garden. Comfortable bed Bathroom was small and basin very small and impractical
- Tarnz (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (7/5): Great house, comfortable, lovely outdoor garden to relax in. - Beautiful old house converted with taste full bedrooms.
The location is great. First time staying here, wasn’t aware it was a house, would have appreciated a bit more info on facilities & check out process when checking in.
In my room which was huge the bathroom was tiny.
Had sent couple of emails prior to staying with no reply.
- Sally (9/5): Superb -
- Taisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristina (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (10/5): Fantastic. - Excellent location. Friendly host.

- Cédric (9/5): Superb -
- Stephanie (10/5): - We stayed for 1 night (New Years Eve) as we were eating nearby with friends and it was very convenient to stay here and get a good night sleep. Had a lovely view of Auckland city and the sky tower. No parking on site though and so had to park on a side street further away as there was no parking on the road in front of the place either.
- Nina (7/5): Good - Location
Clean
Safe Room was tiny
- Ingrid (9/5): Would stay there again. - Great location. Clean, safe and comfortable. Charming!
- Nelson (10/5): Charming place to stay! - The manor is charming and in a great location. The backyard courtyard is lovely.
- Elena (4/5): Disappointing -
- Chihiro (9/5): Very convenient location in the nice part of Auckland, right across from nice bakery and lots of restaurants, clean shee - Very convenient location in the nice part of Auckland, right across from nice bakery and lots of restaurants. The room heating is shared with adjacent room so hard to adjust to your personal preference.
- Eileen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie (9/5): Nice stay - Location good.
Very clean. Ceiling in the cottage in urgent need of new fan and mould removal.
No point providing tea and coffee and kettle and no milk pods or milk in fridge.
- Margaret (5/5): Beautiful garden and great location terrible service - Excellent location, beautiful garden, comfortable bed, quiet room, clean No one to host the property. No welcome. We arrived at about 3pm after a long international flight, very tired and wanted to get into our room quickly. The door was open but no one around except another couple also wanting to check in. We rang about 4 different numbers but all just had answer phones. Rang a bell on a table I. The hall no answer. Eventually a woman emerged and didn’t introduce herself or even ask our name just showed us a room. We stayed 3 days never saw her again. Quite weird. No milk or coffee Whitney. No room room servicing. Eventually had some fresh towels put in room on day 3 but old ones just left there.
Nothing written down about wi fi. She gave my husband password on first day but when we needed it again he had forgotten it and we had to ask another guest. The room had an aircon unit under the window behind curtain which seemed like a fire hazard. The room was small and cramped and the toilet seat broken. I wooden stay here again.
- Michelle (8/5): Pleasant and clean accomodation in a great location. - Loved the location as well as the pretty garden. Lovely house and everything was clean. I didn't expect such a small room, but possibly needed to read the fine print a little more.
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (7/5): Great location next time would choose a larger room if available. - Position is fabulous. Beautiful building and courtyard, garden and deck.
Quiet. Secure. Comfy bed. The room was very small which felt awkward even though solo traveller. Steep narrow staircase with no one present to help with suitcase. Bathroom fittings broken (towel rail and shower drain)
- Sally (8/5): Ponsonby Manor was perfect for us. - House is beautiful and charming, lovely garden. Our room was in an annex attached to the back of the house, very nicely furnished. Pleasant veranda outside wrapping around back of house, with small tables. Good kitchen facilities, helpful books on shelf. Great location - wonderful restaurants across the street; classy, lively vibe overall. Room had no cross-ventilation; rooms in main house better (probably more expensive).
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trudy (10/5): Excellent enchanting place to stay in the heart of - lovely place in a fantastic area of Auckland with shops and cafes.
- Pat (8/5): Loved the location and presentation of the rooms. The garden and decking outside room were great. -
- Birch (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Juliet (7/5): Good -
- Angus (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (4/5): Great location but if heading to eden park again would not stay at zoo do by Manor and - The location to Eden Park Poor communication from the manager - I had to message twice for details of entry and she didn’t get back until late on the day of arrival and then a key was not left as indicated and we had to call Saturday morning asking how we were going to lock the door. With the room being over $300 a night the bathroom and a small sink were substandard.
- Simon (5/5): Very very expensive for just a room and shared facilities -
- Pene (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - clean, comfortable beds, good location
- Peter (10/5): Great - Location good no breakfast Nothing
- Greg (7/5): Good - Location and views from back of building were great Shower was too small and walls very thin so you hear neighbours.
- Donald (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (8/5): Boutique comfort - Very accessible to local shops and restaurants- we literally ate breakfast across the street! And easy to catch bus to downtown . It had beautiful gardens and comfortable areas to relax outside the room. Difficult to find host for questions and they never gave us fresh towels or cleaned the room in a 4 day stay.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Clean! Comfy room and bed - I was up for a day long pilates exam so brought my own food - fully stocked kitchen so I could heat and dine. Great location with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance; second stay and will be back!
- Irina (9/5): Superb - The view
