Brings a lot of heat and not enough darkness in the wee hours of morning when your trying to have a good sleep. Overall comfy place all the things you need for cooking and doing laundry. Woolies supermarket 2 min away
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Although we arrived well within office hours there was no one in attendance for check-in, which became a huge problem when we entered our apartment only to find it hadn’t been cleaned, bins were overflowing with rubbish, dead insects on all window sills, dust an inch thick on all counters, batteries missing from air-cons & TV remotes, leaky bathroom taps etc. No cleaning products were provided in the apartment so we had to go to Woolworths to purchase these things to make the apartment habitable. We rang and were transferred to a lovely lady, Sandy, who apologised profusely, explained they had new cleaners and said she’d be in the next morning for us to leave a full report. The next morning Sandy again apologised and as we were staying 3 nights, offered a discount of one night, which we thought was fair and equitable. Later that day we were advised that the property manager had over ruled her and that NO compensation would be given. Additionally although they were supposed to be serviced apartments, the apartment was not cleaned during our stay. Though they were supposed to offer Austar, the unit was broken and not repaired, the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer so old that the noise was deafening. There’s more, much more but bottom line, at almost $300 per night, this is price gouging and we felt totally ripped off! The property manager didn’t even do us the courtesy of discussing our issues, despite a written report.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great apartments - Dont often get the opportunity to stay here but its a long time favourite - its very comfortable - although if i had to find an issue i would say the beds would be the only thing that is not OMG fabulous - big spacious apartment and nothing else in katherine comes anywhere near it in comfort. Only opportunity i get is when i am travelling with someone so great to be able to stay again. We were lucky that we were able to do early checkin as well - as the appts we had scheduled were cancelled so we wouldve been hanging about in macca's for a while otherwise - it was fantastic that we cud work in comfort.. great apartments

We stayed over the weekend so did not see the owner / manager and the apartment was not serviced in any way. But towels were easy to dry as there was a washing line directly outside the back door.

• Catherine (10/5): Great facilities - Check-in was very easy as was communication with the property. The apartment was very clean and well appointed in a central location. The 2 double bedrooms were large and comfortable. The laundry facilities were excellent with powder provided, a dryer and outdoor clothes line. The bathroom (with separate toilet) was large with great water pressure and complimentary toiletries. The outdoor area provided a small deck with outdoor seating and BBQ. The pool was clean, shaded and very cool - a relief from the heat!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - I have stayed twice at St Andrews Serviced Apartments and I was happy with the quality of the rooms. The showers worked well, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I manage to stay in the same room twice which was also good as I had slept well in that room.

• Daytripper (6/5): Comfortable and central - 2 bedroom unit for family of 5 was comfortable. Apartments are a little bit tired and basic. We didn’t spend a lot of time inside other than sleeping. Floor was quite dirty (Lino) so spent a bit of time that evening mopping the floors. Don’t think the floors get mopped regularly. Owners are friendly and helpful.

• Jan (10/5): Nothing to much trouble - When we arrived although there was no one in the office, our keys and all the information gad been left for us. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our apartment, it was clean and very well presented, everything had been left for us down to washing powder! We were only supposed to be staying for one night, but my husband was taken ill during the night, so we needed to stay longer, Paul was brilliant he left our stay open until my husband was well enough to travel. Would happily stay here again and happy to recommend these apartments.

Quiet area, ourside sitting area, off street parking, walking distance to town, cinema, etc. Staff were delightful too. Wish Katherine was a place I frequented so I could stay here more often.

• susan (8/5): Everything we needed for a comfortable stay - The room had enough room for us all to have our own space. First 2bedroom apartment this trip with enough lounge seats for 4 people, so that was great. had a few issues that were quickly dealt with ( no hot water in the shower, but given keys to another unit to use as it was over a weekend). Only negative would be with the cleaners attention to detail, the cups and plates were dirty still from a previous tenant and had just been put away. As it's an apartment with a kitchen I know the guests should be cleaning up but the cleaners could be checking. I would stay here again.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel for Katherine - Relative to hotels in Katherine this provides a good stay and lacks nothing when it comes to amenities. The apartment is aged, the blinds need replacing but it is comfortable and homely. Room service was good for the first day but was on request for the other days of the week.

• family (8/5): Great apartments - Apartments are spacious, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Large bathroom. Only let down was blinds were missing and didn't allow for privacy in bedrooms and lounge and main bedroom bed very dated and uncomfortable. Little bit of TLC and it would be perfect.
• Liam (6/5): No one at reception - Booked online in the afternoon. Phoned the apartments - no answer. Went to the apartment and no one at reception. Used the phone located outside the reception. Phone call went to the same voicemail message. Decided to go to the local RSL and have a drink and keep trying the number. After 3 hours of trying and approx 7.30pm the phone finally answered so we hurried to the apartment. Turned out the 'receptionist' had been at the RSL at the next table to us the majority of the time we were there!! Simply not good enough. He could have taken the call and advised us our booking was ok but too busy boozing at the pub
• Stephen (8/5): St Andrews - There were a lot of flies that suddenly appeared on the first night. Reception was closed each day by 5, a bit early if you are working.

• Tracey (6/5): Nice pool - Stayed in spacious two bedroom apartment. Floors needed a good mop, otherwise clean. Ice tray was cracked so unable to make ice. One bedside lamp didn't work. Box aircon in second bedroom was very noisy/rattly and ceiling fan made clicking noise if on a medium or high setting. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was fine, good shower. Nice pool. Two minute walk to Coffee Club. Overall the apartment was quite tired but adequate and better than many other options in Katherine.
• VJM (8/5): Brief overnight stay - We booked two 2 bedroom apartments for 6 people on a golf trip. There was plenty of room for all of us, nice kitchen & lounge areas. Check in was quick & we were able to check in early as our apartments were ready.

The stay was spoiled by the heat in the unit meaning that we could not comfortably relax and watch TV in the evening nor could we get a good nights sleep. The aircons in every room seemed to be totally inadequate for the space. Also, couldn't get the tumble drier to work.

• Julie (8/5): Great location with large spacious rooms - The location of the hotel was great. I stayed there with 3 children so the 2 bedrooms were great space for us all. The rooms and beds were clean, however there were spider webs in the kitchen and I thought the air conditioning units needed a good clean. We stayed in room 12 and in the main room was a queens size bed. In the 2nd room there was a bunk bed with a double at the base and a single on top. The room also had another single bed so was very spacious. In that 2nd room there was only a aircon over the door and no ceiling fan. It was very hot in there. I am sure the no ceiling fan is because of the bunk beds and safety regulations Great kitchen and laundry facilities. The pool area was lovely and covered from the sun so the water was nice and cool. They had a pizza oven and bbq out there too so if you were staying there for a few nights I am sure you could put them to use.
• Val (6/5): Disappointing stay - I booked 2 apartments for 3 people in each, 2 months prior to our arrival. One of the apartments that we were given was the disabled unit, not what I had requested, none of us were disabled. There was no-one in the office at any time during our stay to request a room change. The TV did not work, had to contact the offsite manager to retune it. The airconditioner in the main bedroom did not work, it was set on 18 degrees but did not get below 26. Aircon in the living area was not much better, very uncomfortable in the room with 40 degree heat outside. The vertical blinds did not close properly, lack of privacy was an issue in the front bedroom. This apartment is obviously not used frequently, it needed a good clean, & there was only 1 sachet of coffee for 3 people & no milk provided in our fridge. Where is the service in this 'SERVICED' apartment? The second apartment was ok, with coffee, milk & functioning airconditioners.
