The room and bathroom itself was very clean and there was less noise than I expected being on a main road. The bed needed an upgrade. Was the most uncomfortable spring bed in our entire trip. Also had no plates or cutlery in the room to go with the kitchen options, not even tea spoons for the tea?

Very good price compared to other local properties. Adequate parking, we were given milk on arrival, great country hospitality. Originally from Armidale I’ve never had to use motels here and was very pleased with our stay, will book again next time we are in town. Thank you. The shower dripped all night. There were only 2 towels provided which we noticed too late on the first night so had to share but was rectified the next day. Pipes are loud from neighbouring units. Trivial things that didn’t affect our stay but worth noting.

- Cassandra (3/5): Disappointing facilities but good location - Location was great to Armidale main shopping district, shower was lovel, had good water flow and very hot. Lovely to see fireworks from the hotel veranda. TV was broken and would randomly turn itself on during the night. Management are aware of this problem and even laminated a sign but haven't bothered to simply replace broken TV with another one. Curtains were hanging off and broken upon arrival, so we tried to repair them. Outside sensor lights come on randomly throughout the night and shine straight through broken curtains. Air con was exceptionally noisy and badly needs servicing. It was too hot not to use it so sleep was difficult for everyone. We wanted to request late checkout but all staff don't understand English so communication was also difficult. It's a cheaper style accommodation but it's very obvious repair work is being ignored by management and not made a priority.

- Jess (10/5): Warm and quiet with good bike parking - Lovely cozy room, off street parking for motorbikes, safely out of sight of the main road. Walking distance to pubs, supermarkets, and restaurants. Warm through the chilly night. Peaceful and quiet, did not hear others coming and going, did not hear town or road noise. Could cast youtube to the TV from phones. Lovely hot shower and crisp clean linen. Big spa in the corner of the room near the bed...Unfortunately it was out of order and not able to be used, but still a great talking point! Bed a bit hard, wished there were a couple more pillows. But no big drama, still a great stay. Would stay again.

- Kaylah (9/5): - I stayed at the cedar lodge to break up the drive to queensland. Late check-in was easy, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. I'm unsure if the room was well soundproofed or if it was just a quiet area, but the stay was very restful and above expectations. I would stay again. All of the parking spaces were full when we arrived (in the very early hours of the morning), so we had to unload in the turn-around bay and move the car.

My room was roomy with plenty of space to store luggage. Although on the main road , it was quiet. Excellent value for money. The car parking space was a little tight.

Not a fan of internal brickwork or shower over bath, but those are just personal preferences. Strange configuration of room was not what I expected from the booking (2 rooms and 4 beds for one person seemed excessive), but it still did the job.
