• Helen (10/5): Highly recommend this property, it felt like home - The location was quiet and close to the bowling club if you wanted a night out. The property was small however it was quiet and safe. Beautiful grounds and gardens with facilities for both young and old. It also provides undercover parking. The unit was impeccable clean and provided everything right down to a broom and dustpan for a great holiday. Could not fault this property.
• Kelly (9/5): - The cabins are clean, comfortable and have all the things you need. The recreational facilities are great and perfect for families that don't want the massive holiday parks. Would prefer fixed pump toiletries rather than the little bottles and soaps. Less plastics would be used and also every family member could wash their hair. I have to bring body wash and shampoo each time. The DVD players/remotes don't seem to be tested anymore and so have never worked when we've stayed. No one really watches dvds but us anymore, so it's not a deal breaker.

• Kirsten (10/5): We will be making this our annual girls trip. We had the best time. - We absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, beautifully presented, and so well looked after. Everything felt fresh, clean, and inviting from the moment we arrived. The staff were amazing — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect too, close to everything and super convenient. Honestly couldn’t fault a thing. 10/10 — we’ll definitely be back! Can’t fault it.

• Kersi (6/5): We liked the accommodation setting and location. - The place was clean and location was very good. The bed was comfortable, but had it not been for the smoke alarm low battery triggering off the beeping every 20-30 minutes from 4am in the morning on second night (Sat) it would have been comfortable to sleep. My wife suggested to Please provide couple of hooks to hang up clothes/towel near the shower cubical while stepping into the shower. 1. We found the pedestal double lamp had the switch cover loose and the exposed electrical wires could cause electric shock; we disconnected it from the wall socket. 2. On second night at 4am in the morning heard an alarm beep few times and then stop; after 15-20 minutes again beeping. We thought it was something outside the bedroom building. At the 3r and 4th time of beeping noticed it was the smoke alarm. We were Not happy on day 2. Waited until the office opened in the morning to report the 2 problems and the person then removed the lamp and the smoke alarm saying he will get electrician to have look on the week day. Nothing else was said regarding addressing this relatively serious issue. No mention of a compensation of any kind was mentioned. Appreciate a response.
• Lisa (5/5): Acceptable. Points lost due to untidy painted walls, messy doorromecast help, untidy paint job - Location great. Close to everything we needed. Very very disappointed staff told us they could not help with Chromecast. Not able to use. Room could do with painting. Door frames old and untidy. Pillows not overly comfortable. Reception staff friendly upon arrival but when we collected Chromecast I was immediately told by staff they were unable to help set it up. Did not like plastic dining chairs.

• Gabrielle (10/5): Affordable option for families. - This was a really affordable option for our family. It was just the right size and had plenty of things yo make the stay easy with young kids. Forster generally was great for kids top. Would have been icing on the cake to have access to a highchair, but definitely wasn't disappointed otherwise.
• The Appleby's (10/5): Great location! Great price - Great little holiday park. The villas are slightly dated (not ultra modern) but still clean and functional. Great location - quiet street. But easy walking distance to Main Street shops and cafes or club fosters for dinner and drinks. The staff were helpful and kind. Good amenities- kitchen in villa with all the necessities, bbq area, pool, tennis court etc. Enjoyed our stay so much we had a future trip booked at a different location and I wanted to cancel my other accomodation to stay here! Will recommend this location to our family and friends.

Will definitely be back The parking spaces were a bit tight to get in and out of. This is an observation, definitely not a complaint.

The cottage we stayed in was not only the cleanest I’ve ever experienced but also so well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The attention to detail was incredible, and it truly felt like a home away from home. A huge shoutout to the manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect—so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I also want to thank the amazing cleaners, who not only kept everything spotless but even helped us out with a car issue when we were checking out. Such incredible service! I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back

Only let down was non guests intruding on the premises to use the facilities. Was disturbing to guests who actually paid to be there. Once were kids of cleaner, screaming, bashing each other with pool noodles, chasing each other around the pool.. Another time was a large family visiting a resident and then 5 kids who rode their bikes from somewhere else and used the pool and tennis court and just left all the equipment spread all over the place. Actual guests were really respectful of each other and were quiet most times.

We do a lot of traveling, and this Holiday Village in the middle of the town was worth the stay, Well done guys. Maybe a few Front Porch lights could have been turned off by other Cabins to make our room a little less light, But the owners of this Village have put in really exceptional Curtains to help block this out/

Great facilities, heated pool was a hit and beds and pillows very comfortable. Portacot and high chairs were complementary which is a nice touch for families. Toiletries were those little bottles and they run out so fast. Would be good if they had those on-the-wall pump body washes/shampoo etc

• Ron (8/5): Very pleasant, except the double payment and no assistance given management to rectify this. - Village was clean, beds comfortable & location very central to restaurants, bowling club and town. We were charged twice for the stay. Once by booking.com and then by the Foster Holiday Village management This was not discovered until we returned home and when we contacted management they were unwilling to assist and advised us to contact booking.com. This has still not been resolved.
